I do not write many reviews (but I love answering product questions, since I use the Amazon Q&A ALL the time). But this camera deserves special mention. The tech works just fine. I kept expecting something "to not quite work as advertised." But, no, it all worked as advertised. My unit is mounted on our garage, about 60 feet from our basement-sited router. The camera reports 27% signal strength on the 5GHz band. My Macbook Pro struggles with that band at that distance outside. Picture quality is not that of an iPhone, of course, but is quite adequate. You can zoom in (optical) on an image or a recording just like you do on a phone image. Unlike some other reviewers, I had no problem with audio quality. I don't use motion tracking but I verified that it does indeed track motion. Nor do I use human-body detection since we are most interested in keeping an eye on *anything* interacting with our garage (car, human, bird, feline, rodent...). So the hardware is a bargain, but the icing on the cake is the UI. Very intuitive, very thoughtful. What fun manually panning the camera from afar and listening to birds, squirrels, people etc. as they chitter in the back alley. I have it set to record and alert only on significant motion. Useful to reduce visual noise like tree shadow motion. We opted for a 128Gb SD card (that is the max memory it can use) and opted not to use fee-based cloud storage. It will take months to fill that card with motion-event triggered recordings (once full, recording "rolls over" to start at the beginning and requires no user interaction). The playback feature is a standout: you see a timeline with blue markers indicating time-of-day for each recording. As you swipe-right it jumps to the next record in the time sequence and starts playing. Everything works out of the box. If you are considering a different model, try to learn something about the UI. It makes all the difference between a fair product and a really good one. This one is really good.

I got two one for the front yard and one for the backyard. These cameras are perfect . I love the motion of them they pick up everything .i love watching the house all day . The setup was very easy. The picture quality is perfect in the day and at night . The performance of the camera I give a 10/10

This light bulb camera does everything I wanted and expected. Great lighting and quality video/picture. Very easy to install and use. The set up was quick and the app is very user friendly. I'm happy with this purchase.

I like how easy it was to set up. The picture quality is very good. Brought the bulb camera to feel more secure at home. Showed a couple of co workers my phone with my security camera now they wanted one so I ordered 2 more. I'm glad I purchased them

I use this camera for outdoor surveillance! I have purchased these type of cameras before but they didnt work properly. From the moment I plugged it in , it connected instantly and has worked perfect. The picture is very clear as is the volume. It surveills a large area. I love it. Just need to know how to share it. Dont know what they mean by add account.

The camera was not as easy to set up as I had thought. The key is to download the app and set up your account first. Then once the camera has power, using the app you add the camera and then can connect the camera to WiFi. I tried doing it my own incorrect way and tried to connect my phone to the camera. Aside from the set up, the camera is great. I love the video quality, the fact that it records to local storage, the motion section and especially the motion tracking. I can view a car driving by and the camera follows it, same for pedestrians. If I had more outdoor light sockets available I’d definitely purchase a few of these cameras.

Use the camera for security outside. Camera works great and attract the right angles. Easy to set up just screw it in the socket.

I’ve had the camera for a few weeks now and so far I have no complaints, great quality picture, and very easy to install.

The product came quickly. Works well. Was a little difficult to get app going and it synched correctly but I think it was initially too far from the router for wifi to pick up. Has worked great since installed. Would buy again.

I have been wanting to get a security camera for our back deck and yard. I figured I would try since it was easy to install - screwing in a light bulb. Easy to set app up. Love that we can have some back door security now. Would recommend
