Excellent Camera. Motion detection is awesome! I am going to set my two up for detection in home. I experimented with the camera to see the cat at a friend's house. They loved it too! They're going to order few for nanny cams in their home. Set up very easy! So easy for it to detect my Wi-Fi

This camera has wonderful quality and it has been working perfectly! I really like the app since it is very easy to use and understand, the picture quality is perfect and it connects to wifi wonderfully. The price is extremely good for the great quality it has. Would definitely buy it again!

I bought one to see how was going to work and the quality!! After the first week of using it I bought another one because it meet my expectations and work really great!! One of the things I like it was how easy the set up was and how easy is to work with!! Didn’t had no problem connecting it to my phone, table and sharing it with my aunt so we can keep track of my grandma that has dementia!! The motion sensor work perfect and I get the notification in real time and that’s what I was looking for!!

Considering the relatively low price, the video camera delivers. It's prettt east to set up and the app seems to be logical and intuitive. You can set up the camera and see and record live video in very good high resolution quality from your home while you're away. The range is very good, not excellent. And in case you want to scare an intruder or scold your spouse for scarfing down an extra leftover dessert, you have various tools such as a two way audio or a siren to be sounded. My only problem with this is that I cannot get it to work with Alexa. However I can't say for sure if the problem is the camera app or my Alexa app. I still plan to purchase a second camera. That is once I get this Alexa thing worked out.

There’s no real down side to this camera. The clarity is fantastic, even when viewing in a dark setting, the set up was par for the course and any “issue” I ran into was likely my own fault but never horrible. The app is simple to use. Just know that in order to view anything aside from live at the time viewing you need to set up a subscription but for $2.99 a month, big whoop. You can go back in to your library and watch every recording for up to 30 days. Totally worth it. Buy it.

I think the description says at the outset 2.4 GHz and 5GHz dual band, indoor/outdoor for home security. It's not dual band, strictly operates on the 2.4 frequency, and according to the product insert. It's also advertised as indoor/outdoor but on the outside of the box the seller has cut it to Rocktone Indo...(2.4 GHz Wi-Fi). Most importantly the power supply included is a standard 5v 1amp USB travel charger. It's indoor rated (see the little house symbol) but there is nothing on the packaging whatsoever about the danger of using it outside such as electrical shorts and shocks, fire hazards so forth. The LPS certification is specifically for lower power indoor use (Limited Power Source). I've enjoyed years of excellent service and high quality from Amazon, only because I know a little about electricity did I find this. This is DANGEROUS to families-hardly a security device. I hope everyone who buys this realizes that by ease of installation they mean drill a hole in your house or modify with weather proof outdoor rated connectivity. Even protected outlets could present a problem in extreme hot weather (like a fire) and the camera itself is rated for temps from -10 to 40 Celsius so bottom is 14 degrees farenheit. That's a cool breeze in Montana. Geez that's not a value, and it's certainly not a quality item.

I bought this camera to use as an inside home security camera. I wanted to place in a window on the back of the house where it's very dark. The camera work well in every window but that one. There's a glare I can get rid of. Other than that is works perfectly. The quality of the pictures, videos and sound is pretty good and the set up was very easy. I love that it can be plugged into an outlet and not have to be hardwired. That gives me the ability to use it in so many places inside and outside the home.

I ordered this camera because it says 5G. I had tried a different camera and couldn't get it to connect to my WiFi because the camera isn't 5G. So, I searched Amazon for a 5G camera. This is the camera that came up and says 5G. Then I couldn't connect this camera for the same reason! There's no customer service phone number to call. 😡 I was about to send the camera back. I decided to call my Internet company for help and they helped me get the camera set up. They set up a split WiFi and now the camera works very well and I love it except there's no way to completely shut the light off. I taped a piece of paper over the light. The camera is inside my window to keep anyone from stealing it or breaking it. That's why I don't want the light because it makes a glare on the window. Other than that and the 5G issue, the camera is perfect and has a very clear picture. The motion sensor is very easy to trigger and catches EVERYTHING. I love that! I do wish the picture image could be flipped in any direction because I had to tape the camera to the window.

Fairly easy to set up provided you follow directions! Makes me feel better knowing when I’m not home I can review my videos to make sure no one’s visiting without my permission. I live in an apartment building with over 60 apartments and walk my dog several times daily so you can never be too safe. What I didn’t realize was you had to buy the card to “play back” videos should you have to or buy cloud storage just to do certain things. Overall for my needs this camera will do the job. I have it set up to alert human movement and not motion or sound since it’s just me here mostly. I’d definitely recommend for low level type security.
