Occasionally I emulate a Wii on our TV. I have the Wii Resort & Sports+ games, but I've never been able to play them because I was missing this piece. I was also too cheap to buy replacement parts for something we don't play often and that I thought wasn't being made anymore. When I saw this as a reviewable item I made sure to grab it. The adapter worked just as expected in my Wii controllers. Overall I would recommend the product if you happen to be playing a Wii still.

We have a few couch co-op Wii U games that need the Wii Motion Plus features, which hasn't been an issue until our younger kids got old enough to want to play, too. Rather than buy more controllers with that functionality, we wanted to try these as a more economical option. They plug right in, and my kids said they worked fine, with no issues. I'm glad we went this route.

In the picture the OEM Nintendo Motion Plus adapter is on the far left compared to the 2 Puning 3rd party versions on the right. The locking switch was pretty good on one of them but didn't feel as good on the 2nd one. You can see the OEM Nintendo one has a much thicker string for the lanyard holding the cover for the nunchuck expansion port. The net result of that is the string easily retreats into the body of the adapter when you close the cover. On the Puning one, the thinner strings refuse to go back inside the adapter and just sort of hang out outside. Functionally they work just like the OEM Nintendo adapter. They are made of a more cream colored plastic as opposed to the bright white plastic of the OEM adapter. If you're looking for something to let you play games like Wii Sports Resort that require Wii Motion then these will work fine, even if they aren't quite as good as the OEM adapters.

I just recently got a Wii and looking for those sensor attachments to play Wii sports is almost impossible. For some reason the Wii in general has gone up in price along with all of the accessories. I love saving money and getting the same result like I do for these little add ons. They work right on the Wii remote and have the same ability, no lag at all! Very happy with the price and overall quality. Definitely a need for a Wii gamer like me.

The inside connection sits firm and closes good to the actual Wii controller, but the connector itself is slightly loose on both of them. I believe this is not a defect, but in fact the way it was made to prevent anything from breaking off the PCB board or connector upon connection. Once installed, it is a solid connection and you can lock them in position too. Only a handful of games were Wii motion plus made, but it is great to have that additional range of motion when needed. Comes in a pack of two, well sealed and packed.

These motion adapters for the Wii are a terrific deal. It saved us from having to buy more Wii controllers when we truly at this point have enough. They just plug into the remote and work without any issue at all. They saved us bunch of money. Simple to use and works very well
