Looking for a wireless controller for my PS4 without breaking the bank, I recently purchased the CHEREEKI Wireless Controller. Here's what I discovered after using it for a while: Wireless Connectivity: Offers freedom of movement while gaming. Dual Vibration: Provides immersive feedback during gameplay. 6-Axis Motion Control: Enables motion-controlled features in compatible games. 3.5mm Audio Jack: Allows you to connect your headphones directly to the controller. Turbo Function: May be useful for rapid-fire actions in certain games. 2 Mapping Buttons: These programmable buttons can be assigned specific actions for a potential gameplay advantage.

Nothing fancy, but works well. No lights, but does vibrate. Bottom port for headset. Easy to connect to PS4. Will need included cord. I do not like how they are trying to make the O,X, square and triangle look different on the buttons. To connect, after charging the controller, plug device into PS4, then turn on power to game system, then press center button on controller, then press x, and that is it. Unplug from game system and save cord for charging.
- Mr. James2024-06-14Works as well as the original PS4 Dual Shock controller
This controller has two features the original PS4 Dual Shock controller doesn't have. Two mappable buttons and a turbo function. I've played a few games with this product and honestly it works just as good as the original PS4 Dual Shock controller. The turbo function is a nice feature and you can adjust how much turbo you want. I haven't used the mappable buttons yet to comment on their functionality. Analog sticks and the other buttons are responsive. The controller itself feels comfortable in my hands, it has a nice weight to it. I would say the battery life is very good. Doesn't take long to charge the battery in the controller. An excellent replacement controller for the money.

I wanted this mostly because I wanted something to use with my PC, and I've had a lot of luck with PS4 controllers and bluetooth pairing in the past. This did not disappoint me. I've tried the turbo and paddle functions and they work fine. I play a lot of retro games so I don't know how often they'll come up but It might be neat to put the A button on the left paddle and play classic RPG's one handed. Maybe this is good for disabled gamers too?

This is an excellent controller, every bit as reliable and responsive as the oem controller.

I don’t have a PlayStation. Actually, I’ve never really been into gaming, and I don’t have any (dedicated) gaming systems. But a year (or more) ago, I noticed that my Amazon Firestick offered games (Amazon “Luna” app). I ignored that menu item for a long while, but eventually curiosity won over. I recently realized that I might occasionally want to try/play games, and I’d need a game controller to do so. The Firestick has a section to add controllers…”Luna” designed (WiFi) ones…and also Bluetooth ones. So I started looking at controllers. Apparently, many dedicated game systems controllers use Bluetooth for connection to the head unit; and also most use USB-C (currently) for charging…and also USB for wired connection to MS Windows. There might be some propriety among systems, I’m generally unknowledgeable on this, but I really appreciate the game industry, at least generally, uses a common (BT) standard…as one controller can/might be able to be used among multiple systems. At this point I’ve ordered a few controllers (thanks Vine), with this one being my second PS4 controller. - I’m no gamer but I’ve played games occasionally, and this controller feels as good as any I’ve held/used. Ergonomic size/shape/feel, smooth edges, crisp buttons, tactile analog levers/joysticks, very responsive, etc. It feels like a quality made controller. I especially like the rubberized grips. The design of the backside buttons is a little chintzy, but not too bad, and the buttons work just fine. - The listing (and another that I saw) claims 800mAh battery, which seems plenty adequate, but some others have 1000. Also, it works while charging. - This controller connects to my 2nd Gen Firestick (with “Home+Share” as “Wireless Controller”) through the “Game Controller” settings/menu option (but not the “Bluetooth device” option). It works fine upon connection for Navigating the FireOS (though the buttons/menu items are less intuitive and robust than the normal controller)….and it works fine/well for Luna games. All buttons seem to work in the games (depending on the game)…and on Windows, I tested all the buttons with an online controller tester, and everything works, including the little mousepad. - I was also able to BT connect/navigate with this controller to my Android 11 phone. (No games played/tested). - And I was also able to USB (wired) and BT (wireless) connect this controller to my (10 year old) Windows 10 laptop (as “Wireless Controller” with “Home+Share”; no games played/tested). One thing I noticed on Windows is that this controller isn’t as integrated as my other controllers. When I USB connect the controller, Windows recognizes it, but there is no “USB connect/disconnect” sound. Also, I can play games through a browser, but can’t use the controller to play games on the PC. This seems like a driver issue, and there is an app called DS4Windows that is designed to better integrate PS4 controllers with Windows. I haven’t fooled with DS4Windows yet; nor did I mess around with removing and reinstalling the device. Just know that there may be some compatibility issues “out of the box” with this, and likely other PS4 controllers, on Windows. - Perhaps it works well with PS4, but the rumble pack doesn’t appear to work with any of the (non-gaming-dedicated) systems I connected/used. I just can’t comment on that function. Nor can I comment on: …the advanced configurations; though perhaps some are controller “hot-keyed”. …connection-to/use-with IOS, PS4, or any other game system. Controller LED Notes: White: Default pairing Red: Firestick/Android paired Blue: Windows paired (USB and BT) Bottom Line: It’s a good quality made controller that you can use with PS4 (assumed), FireOS/Luna, or PC (can’t attest for iOS¬), though setup with PC may be less “plug and play” than expected.
- jo2024-06-06Very solid, hefty controller
This is a very solid controller, it has a good weight and very solid grips unlike some cheap replacements. In terms of quality and build, I don't feel this is any less than the original controller. It paired instantly with a PS4 if you plug it in once as the instructions say, it's interesting this uses USB-C unlike the original controller. But they include a cable so you don't have to worry about getting one. Once linked, this works great, and has full colored lights/speaker capabilities when you're gaming. You will get sound out of this controller, and vibration. It has a yellow light like the original controllers when you're charging it, it charges fast in roughly 3-5 hours, and lasts for several nights of gaming. The Turbo function was very easy to set up, and really helps, especially in shooting games, you can now shoot endlessly when holding down the trigger instead of pulling it on every hit. You could also set up any other button or trigger to work with it too, depending on which game you play. The paddles worked equally well, and offer another option- both the original button and the paddle will do the action. For the price, I see no reason this isn't as good as the original PS4 controllers, and you also get Turbo and paddle functions. Very well built

Our old, worn-out controller was successfully replaced with the CHEREEKI Wireless PS4 Controller. Its ergonomic design ensures that it fits nicely in both my husband's and my hands, making extended gaming sessions more pleasurable. The two control sticks and buttons on the controller work wonderfully, providing accurate responses during games. One of its most notable advantages is its wireless connectivity, which eliminates the need for obtrusive cords and allows us to play games from wherever within range. This has reduced the probability of accidentally unplugging the controller in the middle of a game, significantly improving our gaming experience. We can connect our preferred headphones straight to the controller for immersive sound thanks to the inclusion of 3.5mm audio, which is a great addition. The wireless PS4 controller fulfills its promises of increased gaming performance, comfort, and usefulness. This controller is a solid choice that won't let you down, whether you're replacing an old controller or upgrading from one.
- Captain Frugal2024-06-04A Good Value And A Solid Replacement
I recently ordered the CHEREEKI Wireless Controller for the PS4 and I am happy that I did. The controller feels great in your hands, both my son and I both found the controller to be comfortable and the non-slip grips are a nice feature as well. I like how easy the controller is to map the buttons to the back. This lets you program specific actions to these buttons for a better gaming experience. I also like the simple turbo function for times that you need to do some button mashing. The analog sticks work great, I did not have any dead zone issues. The buttons and triggers also work nicely, and I found them to feel very similar to the original PS4 controllers. I used the controller for around 8 hours before charging but I charged it before the battery was dead so I can’t say for certain if it will last 8 hours. Overall, I really like this controller and I believe it is a good value.
