- Evan2024-06-17Solid 1080p Smart Projector for the Price, with Netflix and Auto-Focus/Keystone
OVERALL: The Eazze by Aurzen D1 is a solid value at $150, given the balance of 1080p full HD picture quality, smart features, autofocus and auto-keystone, and build quality. The one major downside is that the light output is not that bright, so it is better suited for use indoors or at night. Other than that, it works well and would not be a bad choice in the $100-200 range. The auto-focus and keystone features made it quick and easy to set up, and the internet-connected streaming apps offer lots of options for things to watch. If the drops to $130 or lower this would become an ever more outstanding value. PICTURE QUALITY: I was immediately impressed by the picture quality of the menus when the projector first started up, and that continued to be the case when testing 1080p content in Netflix, YouTube, and USB media. The colors were vibrant and the dynamic contrast provided a sharp image. Dark scenes still had detail, and brighter videos and cartoons were crisp. The projector's biggest downside, however, is that it is not that bright. The stated 200 ANSI lumen brightness is on the low side, and I would like to see that improved in future models. I think this is a tradeoff to keep the price down while still including full HD 1080p native resolution, smart streaming apps, autofocus, auto-keystone and other features. This projector is not suited for daytime use in bright sunlight or outside. But for use indoors in a dim room or outdoors at night, it offers good picture quality for the money. For me, that is not a dealbreaker. For others, if brightness is important there are other good options, but other projectors under $150 would likely compromise on lower resolution, a lack of smart features like Netflix or auto-keystone, or a flimsier build quality. While I wish the projector was at least 50% brighter, I do appreciate that the brand is clear about the 200 ANSI lumen output instead of claiming a higher rating than is actually realistic. AUDIO: The projector speakers sound clear and provide about as much volume as can reasonably be expected given the size. Movies and music are easy to hear, and the sound is more than enough for a simple projector. The projector offers audio output via bluetooth and aux cable, which allow it to be connected to larger amplified speakers if more immersive, booming sound is desired. While it is not noticeable on the built-in stereo speakers, the projector features Dolby Digital decoding which provides a much richer experience if using external speakers. There are preset and user-customizable audio equalizer effects that can optimize the sound for movies, music, and other content. INTERFACE: The projector's menus and settings are intuitive, attractive, and responsive. Netflix, YouTube, and Amazon Prime Video are pre-loaded and the remote control has dedicated buttons to quickly access these apps, with many more available through the on-screen display. It was easy to navigate the various menus and features without having to read a manual. Autofocus and auto-keystone were quick and effective, and can be set to automatically re-adjust if the projector is moved. USB MEDIA COMPATIBILITY: This projector impressed me by being able to play all of the common file formats I threw at it -- x.264, h.264, x.265, and h.265. The only major limitation, which is common in projectors at this price point, is that FAT32 formatted drives are supported but exFAT is not. This is somewhat technical, but the effect is that video files are limited to 4 GB. This probably will not be noticeable for most people, who will mainly use the streaming apps instead of USB, and most 1080p movies can be under 4GB and still look great. But very long movies or higher quality HDR and 4K videos will be too large to be saved onto a FAT32 formatted drive. Hopefully this will be addressed in newer models introduced by the manufacturer, or even a future software updatre. One other quirk is that the fast-forward and rewind features for USB media require the remote to be pressed repeatedly instead of quickly selecting 2x, 4x, 16x, etc. However this was not an issue with the streaming apps, so most users will probably not encounter this, and it was still easy to skip back and forth when watching USB videos. DESIGN AND BUILD: The projector is sleek and made of a relatively high quality plastic. In this price range there are some projectors with similar features, but comparatively poor build quality. The physical buttons on the projector are simple and maintain a clean appearance. The packaging, documentation, and the projector itself all appear to be of decent quality and made by a company that cares about the product they make. OTHER: It would be ideal if a storage/carrying case was included at the price of this projector, as they are often bundled with projectors that cost less than $100. That is not a major omission, but would be nice to have especially if the projector is used outdoors or in a portable manner. Another quirk is the very large power adapter that plugs into the wall. Instead of a brick, it would be preferable to have just a simple power cord, with any adapter built into the projector itself. Neither of these factors impact the everyday use of the projector, but offer room for future improvement to make it that much more convenient for portable use. CONCLUSION: This is a good projector at the current $150 price point, and if the price drops to $130 or $100 it would become an even stronger recommendation. That said, projectors with similar features can range from $100 to $300. There are other good options for a somewhat lower price than this one, but you would be taking a chance on shoddier hardware and/or more questionable brands. This one is not the cheapest, but works well and did not have any of the frustrations that other low-cost projectors often put users through. As long as you will be using the projector in a dark environment, I think the blend of features, functionality, picture quality, full 1080p resolution, and good design make this one a solid choice. And it will only get better if the price comes down over time. It has been fun and satisfying to use so far, and has done well in most normal use scenarios other than brightly-lit environments. You can find similar projectors for anywhere between $100 and $300 with tradeoffs between various features and build quality. The Eazze by Aurzen D1 has provided a great experience so far and seems to be noticeably higher quality than other inexpensive options, and works as needed.
- mkearl2024-06-20Auto Focus and Keystone is amazing.
I've owned maybe 5 projectors in the past. Some were highend projectors, and others were ones you would take camping. I might argue that this could do both. The lamp is very bright and perfectly fine at a distance in a lighted room. I just can't get over how easy it is to set up. When you turn it on, it auto focuses all by itself, and then does the keystone automatically. You don't have to do anything other than turn it on. It has a ton of apps as well as a large app store with anything you would ever want. But if there is a rare app you do want, then just screencast it over. Honestly, I love this little thing and I don't think anyone would go wrong by ordering it.
- MACception2024-07-01Pretty neat and intuitive! Surprised for the price!!
I kinda just bought this as a toy thinking it'd be a gimmick for the price but I'm pretty impressed! The picture is very clear, even with a decent amount of light in the room, which typically hurts projector image quality. Connected my YouTube account and was watching videos in no time. I was really surprised by how good the auto keystone and focus correction works. I've only owned projectors where you had to adjust that manually but every time I moved this thing, it detected it and just a few seconds later it corrected itself so the image wasn't wonky because of the new angle. Glad I gave it a chance!
- Emily2024-06-21Amazing Quality and Super Easy to Set up
I can’t say enough about this projector!!! Out of the box setup was less than 5 minutes. It auto focuses well, links to our existing streaming accounts as well as my phone l, and the quality was good on a small poster as well as on a full sized bedsheet! We will definitely use this for lots of fun!!! Great instructions as well.

Once I opened the box, I knew this was going to be good! I have purchased this type of projector before, but spent too much time trying to figure out how to get it connected! This one is different. Included in the package is a large easy to read page that shows you just how to set it up. In no time I was set up and watching YouTube videos! You can connect to Netflix with one button, along with Amazon Prime, etc. Unit is well made, compact, and lightweight. This would be perfect for a kid's slumber party or backyard camping.
- Roger Lan2024-06-21Great projector!
Easy setup and installation! Built in apps with Netflix YouTubeTV and more! Auto adjust feature works well. Need to be in a very dark area to get the best quality but very satisfied with this purchase. Sound quality out of the projector was surprisingly good too! Turned our downstairs office into a small movie theater. Highly recommended!
- Justin K.2024-06-28Fantastic projector
This projector is awesome. Able to watch Netflix and Prime Video in my bedroom, projected onto my wall. It’s lightweight and has an easy HDMI connection. I also tried connecting my Nintendo Switch, and it played flawlessly. I was nervous after seeing reviews about low brightness levels, but it is more than bright enough in my room. I’m very pleased and highly recommend this product.
- J V2024-06-19Easy to use quality sound.
Did a quick test before I invest in a screen. Smart projector with built in speakers. Just connect to the Internet and go. Plenty of preinstalled apps and the ability to download more.
- PROTOHYP2024-07-02Perfect PORTABLE projector
So its obvious that this projector won't compare to my Epson 4010 but it was never meant to replace it. I have an overland trailer thats using a Nebula Capsule projector that works great but unfortunately battery life can't keep up with longer movies and the charge time usually hinders watching movies in succession. I had always planned to change the projector but I didnt have a proper inverter in my trailer so I planned to use a boost converter to match the 21V output from my 12v battery. Its simple and inexpensive and because I have loads of power in my trailer battery I will never have to worry that this projector will keep up. Because my trailer can be light controlled I'll never have to worry about brightness because it will be pitch black inside the trailer. I used the projector at home and compared it to my older plasma TV that has super dark blacks and again while it can't compare if my TV goes down I would have no problem using this projector to replace it. The fact that I can connect it to my sound bar and have a complete home theater in our bedroom makes it an inexpensive choice with great picture quality. We tend to watch TV in our bedroom at night anyway so its again a perfect light controlled situation so the 200 Lumens works fine for our situation. I am an audio snob so I would always connect this to an external audio source. If I needed to rely on the internal speaker it would be fine because it sounds pretty good for what it is and provides plenty of volume with low distortion. But to get the most out of it connect it to a sound bar or pair it with your home theater audio system. Honestly sound is more important to me than picture quality but picture quality from this projector is really good. Having auto keystone and focus is a huge plus and makes moving this super light projector from room to room super easy. Integration of Netflix and Amazon as well as YouTube is great. I wish there was a way to download MAX but as of now haven't found a way to add to our streaming services. I also use Kodi but streaming it from my phone works perfectly which leads to my other big plus with this projector. Being able to use my personal hotspot to stream from my phone is a big plus. While it won't stream protected services if you have a NAS that holds all your movies you'll never have to have any movies with you to be able to watch what you want. Even better is that if you want to play those movies from a thumb drive the USB drives work perfectly so there's plenty of options especially if you dont have Wifi service to pair with your projector. All in all I'm very pleased with this projector and cleaning it and maintaining it is very simple. filters are easily accessible as is the lens should anything get on it. Price point and quality is on par and it out performs my more expensive Anker Nebula I had in my trailer. I think it would be very easy to find a protective case that would fit this but for now I'm using a Timbuk 2 Laptop bag that provides plenty of protection for this awesome little machine. With this price point and quality it would be easy to put one of these in every room and even use as a massive computer monitor. While it would be nice to compare it to all the other projectors in this price point this one had pretty much everything that I needed for my purposes so I will be content with that.
- Michael Norby2024-06-30A true smart projector!
This projector is truly awesome! I found a really neat feature that will auto focus and auto rotate the projector video output. This has several built in streaming apps and was super easy to log in and watch my favorite shows on a "big screen". Plus, if it’s not preinstalled, there is an App Store that you can search and install a preferred app. There is a web browser app as well, but I haven't opened it up yet to check it out. The sound output is nice and clear as well considering how small the projector is. The only thing I wish it had was a parental control feature that will lock out the applications until you enter a passcode.
