- Mega Pint2024-06-15Does the job
Easy to set up, and not difficult to operate. Has decent picture quality when there is no other light around. This will not work if you plan to throw a backyard party and have the porch light on. It works well indoors, with the lights off. The sound quality from the speaker isn’t great, so I would recommend running into a speaker source. But it’s small and convenient for watching something on.

This is seriously the most underrated/underpriced projector I've found. My 4 year old son has a big playroom in the basement, and I previously had a $800 projector by Benq there, but it randomly died on me after minimal use. I was super disappointed. So far this is working perfectly and I've had it for a while now. Picture quality is perfect for our needs (watching kids movies while my son plays with toys) and it's so easy to set up. We have it set for a 100" screen. Thank you for making a great, affordable projector GooDee!

I never was a fan of having a large TV in the front room. I liked the idea of keeping the aesthetic nice and simple..keeping it welcoming for guests and family time but at night I secretly wanted to be able to enjoy a nice movie with the family on a projector screen. We had a huge wall with nothing on it, so getting a projector that looked nice was always something I wanted to get into but the entry level pricing, and mounting and wiring and maintenance always kept me away. I pulled the trigger on this one because the reviews seemed to lean on the positive side and I wasn't looking to spend a huge amount of money on something I knew nothing about. Once I got it, I was VERY surprised at the quality experience this budget projector offers. It has 2 HDMI inputs, standard AV composite inputs via 3.5mm jack connector and Bluetooth audio connectivity. I paid $129 and it was worth every penny! My only complaint is that you can't control the projector volume or bluetooth speaker volume with a Roku or Apple TV remote. If it had that, this thing would be perfect! So you have to use the projector remote to control the bluetooth volume or the builtin projector volume. I highly recommend using a BT wireless speaker or use the headphone output wired to an external amp to manage the sound. For less than $200 it's alot of serious bang for the buck. Alot of projector snobs and purists will scoff at these kinds of projectors and call them "toy projectors" or "Chinese junk" but for the money it's very hard to beat. Especially if you want something that is super simple to set up and doesn't take up alot of room. Blu Ray and high def content look great and DVD's also look pretty darn good. I haven't tried connecting any 4K sources to it, but I read that it downscales the resolution down to native 1080P anyway so it's not a big deal. We have ours set to about 125inches so it takes up a pretty large wall and it looks fantastic. At night I have my own grindhouse cinema right in my living room! I am sure there are other branded projectors with similar stats but this one suits my needs just fine. If I can find one that handles true 4K and 3D with bluetooth wireless audio I'll be on cloud 9! But I can wait... for now, I am happy with this budget projector. A great value for the money.
- Chicago2024-03-01Great projector! Great Price!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I was looking for a replacement for an older projector I had been using. I found there are so many options, and lots of opinions about the best projector to buy. It seemed overwhelming, and I really needed to find something affordable. I do not have a tv, but have a large wall I use to stream from my computer or phone. After doing some research, I realized that regardless of what I purchased, the quality would be way better than my old projector, simply based on the technology available today vs. even just a few years ago. That made my decision easier, but I still wasn't sure about buying an off brand product. The reviews for this GooDee projector (both on Amazon and other sites I visited) we very good, and the price was within my budget. I went for it. Bottom line - I LOVE this projector! Super easy to set up. WiFi, 5G, and blue tooth capability. Syncs seamlessly to my iPhone. Image quality is excellent. Speaker quality is excellent. Easy to resize image without moving the projector.

This is a great projector for the price! I was not able to connect it to Bluetooth from my phone which was a downside, and something I was looking forward to. However, I was able to plug in my Chromecast and stream wirelessly from my phone that way. You don't need a projector screen - the picture looks great on drywall and pretty much any surface and looks especially bright at night time. It is easy to adjust the fuzziness and angle and the remote is helpful. The sound quality is good and loud enough to fill out the room you are projecting in. Would recommend for anyone looking for a basic starter projector that is easy to set up in a small amount of time.
- TC2023-08-03Not usable in daylight but great projector for the price.
I spent a lot of time looking at all the cheap projectors and was concerned about getting something really junky and unusable. Goodee seems like the best marketed brand of the cheap Chinese brands and you could do a lot worse spending a lot more. We wanted something to just setup o back porch or back yard easily and this one fits the bill. I was hoping we'd get something that could work in lower daylight but it does have to be fairly dark before this is usable. I'd say shortly before sunset is where it really comes out nicely. Once the sun goes down it is super bright. So a darker room during the daytime would be fine as well. We currently use a high quality projector screen that was retired from school use. I'd guess our screen is about 5' x 4 ft. I am not sure if it's actually 4k, but it is very sharp at this size. It's definitely high def. The manual and digital controls for adjusting the angle and everything take a little dialing in but I was able to get it just right and we had a really nice sharp and undistorted picture. It's cool that it has some built in apps and wifi enabled as well and can be mirrored easily but I haven't tried. We just use a Roku Express which makes it super easy. We also plugged in a cheap handheld Nintendo emulator through the old school A/V inputs and that looks pretty good too. The speaker is actually really good sounding and all you'll need unless you want to annoy your neighbors. The fan sound isn't very loud even right next to everyone. The case is very high quaity as well, and makes it easy to store or transport. Fits the Roku in it too. Super stoked on this for the price.

Excellent product, good sound, and good price for what you get. Picture is excellent too. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for projector.
- Manda Reviews ♠️2024-03-21The best so far, but far from perfect.
This has the best picture and sound of any of the home projectors I have used. That said, it’s not perfect. The sound is good, but at certain volumes stars to flare, so an external speaker/soundbar is better if you want sound that’s loud enough. The picture is very good and very bright. I can actually see it on the wall even with sunlight coming into the room, which never happens with others. Crisp. Sharp. But… BUT! The kickstand to raise it up toward the wall is not centered, so the picture leans ever so slightly no matter what I do. That’s just a bad design flaw that I feel could easily be remedied, but who knows. It also doesn’t raise it high enough for my setup, but an old DVD case seems to hoist it up enough to get it where I need it to be minimally. I had another projector from this same company that was a gift from someone else. That one was a little bigger. I think this one is a little nicer despite the flaws I already pointed out. The only thing is every time you turn it on you have to select the input again. I only use it with a Roku stick, and it’s silly, but I’d prefer if it just defaulted to that every time I turn it on. The old one used to do that so not sure why this is different but it’s just annoying to have those other steps like, use this remote, now switch to this remote. Silly thing to be annoyed by and it’s whatever, but I just prefer the way the other one worked a bit. All that said it’s a great projector and at its price I’ve yet to find a better one.
- rusty2024-05-25Issues with lamp
This is a great projector in terms of brightness, resolution, sound, and it connects well with WiFi and my firestick. There are a variety of ways to connect to it, such as screen mirroring, usb, and hdmi. I really like it! The significant issue I had with it was with the lamp shutting off repeatedly while the projector remained on and playing sound. My hunch was that it was overheating, so I bought a small desk fan and aimed it directly at the base of the projector while using it. Their customer service recommended that I remove the dust filter and try again. Since implementing the desk fan and reinserting the dust filter I have had no other issues with the lamp shutting off. 🤞
- Carter2024-06-14It's okay
It's a great projector minus a couple things. For starters, this projector does not support WPA3 wireless which means I had to downgrade my wireless security in my apartment to connect this thing. The most annoying aspect of this projector is Bluetooth. There is an extreme delay with the audio when connected to a Bluetooth speaker which forces me to use the internal speakers which honestly isn't too bad.
