Most impressive, there are three built in connectors available for all of your devices and an adapter for a 4th. The flash drive requires use of their proprietary app which is not terribly intuitive but quite easy to use once you play with it for a while. It quite simply allows you to transfer data to and from whichever device you want or just store it on the flash drive itself. This is extremely valuable for photographers. I’ve been using this product for over a month and I found it to be quite sturdy and incredibly handy.

As a PC user - I have tried every known APP and software to easily transfer videos and pics off an iphone (now on ios 13). Some would work until there was some kind up upgrade from either the app company or Apple. Then all bets were off. But this thing - THIS THING F-ing works and works great. It has a lightning connector on one end and a standard full size USB connector on the other. And when neither is in use both connectors are protected by the metal shell case. To use it, you plug it in and it takes you to the APP store to download a small piece of code that allows it to connect. The interface is clean and understandable by even a two year old. Ok, maybe not that simple but you get the idea. You select files from your albums and then hit the arrow transfer pic and boom - files into the flashdrive. Then pop out the USB connector and transfer it to the PC. That simple. Finally a way to easily clear more space on an Iphone.

This product is really easy to use! Sometimes the app is a bit slow, but other than that, it's so easy to get all the pictures off my phone and onto this storage stick. It's so much faster than when I used to have to take all my pictures off my phone, add dates to all of them, and put them on a USB drive. This has all the dates on them already. You can only do so many photos at a time, but it's not bothersome, especially if you do it once a month or so.

I really thought this was going to be a perfect solution. From the start it was a hassle, but workable. Now in my latest transfer, all files were lost. From day 1 the slide mechanism was flimsy and would get stuck. To extend the USB, you had to put your thumbnail in and push down as you slid it out. Because when it was extended it did not lock, to insert it in the PC, you had to hold tightly to the slider on the stick to prevent it from sliding back in. Like I said, this was a problem from day 1, but I figured I could deal with it. Then, after in-frequent use (once a week at most) it started being really touchy. You would have to wiggle it for the PC to recognize it. I tried different ports and different PCs to make sure the problem was not with the input jack... it was not. You would have to jiggle it to get solid connection. Now this morning I went to retrieve files I offloaded yesterday, and they are inaccessible, folder structure is destroyed and the contents are jumbled. There is not reason to believe it is a virus, as I have protection on all devices and no other hardware is showing signs of ransomware or infection. Since this device on it's own cannot connect to any source of a virus, I think it is just a hardware issue. Bottom line, I am very dissapointed. At first I was tempted to buy another or return for replacement in hopes it be an isolated issue... but with further thought, my data is too important to risk on a device that is so faulty.

This product in itsself it a great idea. It supports Apple's lightning, USB-A, Micro-USB, and USB-C (with the use of a USB-A to USB-C adapter- or just use the included one). Sadly it does NOT support Apple's files app. This means that you either have to use the "Y-Disk" app (included in directions) or use a USB-A to lightning adapter. This is one of the few flash drives that does not "require too much power" for the latter option. It also doesnt fit very well in cases. This being said, I like how much storage space it gives. You can buy any of the iPads or iPhones with the lowest storage space and have this to increase your size. I have found out that it is possible to add even more to this drive, if the size you purchased is not enough. To do so, you would want to locate the small notch on one of the sides. It is on the side with the USB-A/micro-USB ports. Insert a pen or a screwdriver into the notch, and while doing so push down on the USB-A/Micro-USB side. Keep pulling it out untill the metal frame is separated from the plastic casing. There is a small bit of plastic casing on the side opposite the switch. You should be able to take this off with your fingers. From here, you can replace the included Micro-SD card with one of a larger size. Repeat the previous steps in reverse to put it back together.

It has great storage capacity and comes with detailed easy to read instructions along with pics that show each step. It is also compatible with android phones which makes it very useful. Great value for the money. EDIT: Although this was a great deal I will be returning. I have an iphone 8plus and it would not recognize the flash drive. The app you have to have for the item to work has several bad reviews and it is rated 2 stars. Will be buying another from the Apple store. Still rating three stars because it has great qualities just wish I could use it.

Instructions are a bit vague and doesn’t just automatically pull pictures out. Still working with it

I got this so I could back up photos and videos from my phone and be able to open them on the laptop since Bluetooth doesn’t always work and we don’t have Internet. It’s a little difficult to use if you have an iPhone with a case on it you have to remove the case before plugging it into your phone. You also need to download an app that works specifically with it so you do need to have access to Wi-Fi when you first set it up or data on your phone. I haven’t tried it with the computer yet with the USB port but if I need to download the app for that too I might have to hold off till I can take it to the library. Videos don’t automatically back up with the app so you have to individually select each video you want transferred over and it can be a little complicated to figure out. You have to be really careful when transferring files to make sure not to bump it because even a slight bump will stop the transfer you have to start over in an hour redo all the files that you were already started transferring so you can end up with duplicate photos and a lot more time. It’s a good price though
