    Overall good

Very pretty, the fans come jumpered already so thats nice. The glass paneling is nice and sturdy while still being easily removed. Its spacious enough with all panels removed for a very comfortable assembly experience. As extra they include more than enough extra screws, zipties, etc. In the box The only reason I dont rate 5 stars is because I had to return one due to what I deduced was faulty I/O wiring for the front panel. The replacement worked perfectly. In short, good case, slim possibility of a faulty wire on the case itself.

    Love this case!

This was my first time buying my own after-market case, despite building out computers for almost 25 years. This case is large (which i wanted), plenty of room for all of your components and cabling. There is a nice cabling area in the back to get a clean look. Aesthetics: The RGB fans come pre-installed and are very nice - smooth and quiet. Was pretty simple to setup. with the hub that comes with the case. The glass sides are high quality, and the screw is in the back, not directly through the glass which allows you to easily remove and screw in the case without having to press your fingers against the glass smudging it up. The Riing 14 fans look really cool, i have them on a breathing effect and they show nicely through the front of the case. Sometimes i just sit back and admire the case. You are definitely going to want to go full RGB to get the maximum enjoyment out of it. An added plus was that the mystic light feature of the B450 allows the motherboard lights to be visible through the 2nd glass case window. Function: I use a wireless headset, so the USB ports on the top are great, because previously i only had the option of my dongle hanging out of the front, waiting for someone to kick it and break it. Now it instead points upwards, so that concern is gone. The buttons and plugs are sturdy and feel high quality. Installation of the motherboard (i chose a B450 tomahawk) was a piece of cake. All of the motherboard holes and screws accepted the board no problem. The 3 bay SSD holders made installing an SSD quick and easy. The cable routing on this case is something worth taking note of - you have a lot of space to route cables (about ~2 inches of space). There is a nice magnetic screen on the top of the case, which can also hold a few more fans. If i had to list out any cons, there are only two that i can think of: 1) The case can be pretty heavy - it's big with tempered glass. For me this is not a con since i'm not moving it around much - but if you want something portable, this is not your case. 2) The RGB controller that comes with the fans is manual, meaning that you need to open up the case to press the buttons to change the lighting effects. I keep mine on a breating effect, but if you are someone that likes to change lighting effects alot, know that this is a limitation. All things considered i couldn't be happier with this purchase!

Ok case, but Thermaltake Products not compatible with one-another! Lackluster design & coding.

As many of you may have done what I did (or looking to), buy same brand components thinking they'd be compatible with one another, this is a review for 3 Thermaltake (TT) products (listed below, in order of review) and will be copied to all 3 product pages. - TT View 31 RGB Case - TT DPS-G RBG 750W Gold Powersupply - TT Floe Riing RGB 360 AIO Liquid CPU Cooler So, this is my first build on all TT products and I had high hopes that are slowly being shattered by poorly thought out design, engineering and coding. Pros: The View 31 case is roomy enough for a modern full ATX motherboard, it has great cooling vents (top, bottom, front, and rear) and the build quality is good...I didn't find any sharp edges. The hard drive bays (3 each) are removable if you don't need them (which I didn't) and that opens up things a bit more. Cons: As far as the View 31 case and RGB fans included, it's just "OK" too, but there are issues here too. First, the fans use a completely different "controller" (that's actually manual, not software controlled) than the other Riing products and it connects to the on-board motherboard chassis fan headers, which is not a big deal, but stupid if you have other Riing products that connect to the USB headers. Honestly, if you buy the View 31 with the RGB fans you should get the ones that integrate, not this poor manual controller, and TT should know that! If nothing else offer a View 31 Premium and include those fans and controller - give the consumer the option rather than no fans or incompatible fans. The instructions are kinda vague as well, I found out that you have to go in the BIOS and disabled the automatic control on the header, otherwise they will shut down (LEDs and fans! Kinda takes away from the LED aesthetics) when not needed. Also, there are limited options for mounting a radiator for liquid cooling (see below comments). You can mount the radiator up front, but you'd have to modify the included fans, or maybe leave them and do forced air in and out. But, if you plan to do an AIO liquid cooler you will have to check the tube length (see below comments). Pros: I selected the TT Toughpower DPS-G RBG 750W Gold power supply. It's quiet and I like the modular design (first for me). The software has some good features (like monitoring how much power is consumed, estimating cost, etc.) even though it has some issues (detailed below). Cons: The software to configure and control it requires Admin to run on Windows 10; that's not thinking secure and that's pretty weak coding if you ask me. As far as the application functionality, it's OK but as one poster on YouTube puts it "this is a Win98 era GUI", and I think TT can do better. There are issues too, for instance after coming out of sleep mode the LED light will only come on sometimes, and since the DPS-G software doesn't run in standard user mode, you have to log out and log back in as an Admin to fix it, but next time you go in sleep mode...you guessed it, the LED doesn't work again. I'm researching work-arounds, but I shouldn't have to. Also, why do they have a separate application for this than the rest of the RIING RGB fans and accessories? Why not integrate and not make customers install multiple apps? Lastly, although maybe not something TT can really control, the RGB fan is technically on the bottom of the power supply. So, if you want the LED to show you have to mount it upside down. Now, a picky person would want the fan pulling air in from the bottom and pushing it out the back to cool. Maybe put an LED ring on the top somehow? A second fan? Not sure, but I think a good engineer could figure it out. I suspect most power supplies with LED fans are in a similar situation, so not a huge fault on TT, just something I'd like to see changed in general. Pros: Has all the adapters you'd need to install it and I like the way it mounts for the LGA2066 Intel chipsets. The thumb screws and brackets are pretty easy to install. The radiator and fans work as advertised and I love the software, although like the power supply software you have to run it as an Administrator (see review above and apply same logic here). Overall better than a non-liquid cooling setup and much smaller footprint inside the case. If you're not up to building your own liquid cooling loop (much more complicated and way more expensive, from what my research turns up) then this is a good solution. I do NOT overclock, so I cannot comment on that. Cons: If you have the View 31 case and the Floe Riing 360 AIO you really are limited to one mounting position for the AIO; top of the case with the liquid tubes facing left (toward the rear). This is due to the AIO tubes being WAY too short! Although this works, it may not fit your build plans and I actually had to modify mine a bit to accommodate. This is something that has been known for a while now (found another review on YouTube, but it was after I'd purchased and started assembly). Come on TT! This is your OWN case and AIO, you can do better! Add about 3 inches more to the tubes and it would be OK. But, better yet, the engineers should test the various mounting locations in all of the TT cases and try to make it compatible with all (or at least most, and at a minimum with all mounting points in the most popular TT cases). Also, if you buy multiple TT products that require connecting to a USB header on your motherboard be prepared to also buy an internal USB header-style hub (NZXT makes one that works). Finally, the TT LED logo on the AIO pump block is not straight, also something reviewed in the YouTube video a while back. Why can't they get this fixed? Not a huge deal, but still....poor attention to detail. Final gripe, if you try to go to the TT website you'll be disappointed, it's EXTREMELY slow and the English site times out half the time. I basically gave up and skipped it, opting to forgo the Cloud App due to the site being confusing and slow. TT really needs to rethink some of this, get with the times, integrate your products better and make it less frustrating and complicated for customers to buy and integrate all of your products. I'm not sure if I'd be willing to buy TT products again after all this. If you want to make this right TT, contact me and you are welcome to send newly engineered parts to change my mind.

Thermaltake really thought this one out.

Anyone that has used Thermaltakes excellent cases know that sometimes they do some strange things. Not in this case. This case is both aesthetically pleasing and functional not to mention very modular. Pros: Sturdy. Fans were well designed (near silent) with really long cables that can be routed multiple ways. Great airflow from the front. Despite the closed look the vents let in air nicely. Dust filters work perfectly (top and bottom) Plenty of space behind motherboard to route cables, larger than other cases I have used. It doesn't say in most spec listings but 3.5 inch hard drives are mountable on the backside. Fan controller included was a nice bonus (yes you do have to take the glass off to get to it but that isn't uncommon right now) Cons: Bolts to hold on sides were tiny thumb screws I will be replacing those with something handier. Area behind motherboard is covered by glass so your cables will show albeit the glass is tinted. Going to have to work on your cable routing for this one folks lol. No shroud around power supply and at this price point I felt it needed one but making a custom one isn't hard, just get some acrylic. Other thoughts: This case will handle any upgrades I could think of and included the parts to do so. Water cooling will be a breeze to install should I decide to go that route. Case is large and has a bit of weight compared to non-glass cases but that's expected. Every time I see it powered on it's as relaxing as watching fish in an aquarium.

    Excellent mid-tier case

My complaints about this case are minimal, so I want to go over the things I like first, which are many: Pros: * Vertical GPU mounting - For anyone that cares about the aesthetics of their build, I'd seriously consider choosing a case that allows for vertical GPU mounts. Most GPUs place the majority of their good looks on the fan-side of the card, with some bits occasionally on the side. Vertical mounting puts both on full display in your case. Outside of aesthetics, this gives additional air movement that you otherwise wouldn't have. Depending on your PSU mounting, the fan there typically pushes air to the bottom of the case. Instead of having your GPU and CPU fans blowing in exactly the same direction, you're getting more air movement throughout the rest of the case - it seemed counterintuitive to me that creating what basically amounts to turbulence would help with temperatures, but I tested with the normal mount, and then vertical, and saw a consistent 3-5 degree drop across both GPU and CPU * Modularity - These days, there's always SOME component that is bigger or smaller than you expected it to be when ordering it. Having the ability to fully remove your drive trays, vertical mounting bar, etc, is extremely helpful for people who may have mis-measured (or not even taken into account) the size of the components they've ordered. This makes it a great case for both first time and seasoned builders. You have room for radiators if you're in to water cooling, and if not, you still have room to mount something like 10 fans in total if you really want to go nuts on it. * Filtration - I've lost count of the number of machines I've seen that were housing a family full of dust bunnies at this point. Magentic filter screens on both the top and bottom are easy to see, remove, and replace once cleaned. You'll still want to blow out the machine every so often, but this kind of thoughtfulness in design is apparent throughout. And now onto the things I'm not super happy with: * Cooling/Fans - There's only one exhaust fan, and for a machine that's geared towards enthusiasts, that will likely not be enough. This can easily be remedied with the purchase of an additional fan. On the fan side, the RGB controller is annoying... Unless you want wires hanging outside the case, totally shredding any desire to have a clean design, you basically just set the lights how you want them, then you're stuck with them. Forever. If you want more control, do what I did and buy a multi-fan connector, plug them in directly to a RBG fan control header on your motherboard, and simply throw away the included controller. This way, you can control them in software, which thankfully works with Aura and many others. * PCIe Extension/Vertical GPU mount - No PCIe extender is included, and if you buy the less expensive/shorter one from thermaltake, you're likely going to have a bad time. The shorter cable isn't just shorter - it's shielding is terrible, it's quality is somewhat questionable, and I've read multiple reports of failures. If you plan on using the vertical mount, budget in the ~$50-70 (they do occasionally go on sale) for the 300mm extension, part number AC-045-CN1OTN-C1 * See through cable management - Not a huge deal, but the tempered glass on the cable management side of the case, while tinted, is still easily visible. I wish they'd gone with a more heavy tint there. Final thoughts: The case is a solid buy for anyone looking for an aesthetically pleasing build. Cable management is simple, with ample rubber grommets and tie-down positions, vast modularity is packed in, and there's tons of room for even the absolutely MASSIVE Strix series cards as well as the YUUUUGEst of Noctua coolers. My complaints are both minor and easily correctable, and none of them detract from the usability of the case itself (with a little knowledge beforehand). 10/10 would buy again.

Stunning Case - Huge - Nice RGB fans installed

First I want to say this case is beautiful and HUGE. I build over 50 PCs last year and this was the biggest I think, It makes my corsair crystal 460x look small. I was worried at first with the opposite side panel also being glass,(the panel behind the motherboard back tray) I thought maybe it would show to much wiring and look messy but I was wrong. The glass is dark enough as well as so much room it makes cable management very easy and aesthetically pleasing if you are willing to put some time into it. The fan controller allows the RGB fans to run as a static color (I choose green for this build) or connect to newer motherboard RGB controls, It also has a demo mode but I couldn't get mine to work how I imagined. Next the vertical video card mount is just stunning be be aware you will need to buy the 25$ GPU ribbon to do this. Hard drive mounts are easy enough to slide in and out. The one thing I would add for anything buying this case is a basic 120mm fan to put in the top back to ensure positive case pressure with a 2 in 2 out setup. I will post some Pictures here for more check my Instagram of the same name. -Andrew at EliteGamingHQ on YouTube

Best case there is, I love mine and wouldn't have any other. I highly recommend it.

I love this case. Its the best one out there. Forget all those other stupid ugly cases. This one is the real deal. I have Custom length LEDs in it and they look amazing. The sides are pretty dark tinted but with leds inside its just fine. The front is WAY too dark, be aware of that. I put the thermaltake premium plus riing fans in there and you can barely see them. The fans shown in the stock picture are NOT the ones it comes with. It does come with good fans but they only have 4 leds and are not that bright nor are they addressable. It comes with 3 140mm fans that do not all fit in the front... Only 3 120 mm fans will fit in the front. I put my 3 fans on the top and it looks really good. This is case is like the best one I can think of. It has SO much water cooling capabilities. It comes with a vertical gpu bracket, removable hard drive tray and 2 of the best panes of glass I have ever seen. I really really wish the front wasnt so tinted but you know what it still looks really cool with my thermaltake plus fans. I would recommend the corsair HD 120s for the front if you want to deal with there connectivity issues. Those fans with there clear blades would look the best. The Premium thermaltake fans are fine though.

    great for the price

This case is a beautiful case the case does have some flaws but I will talk about the pros first and the first pro is that it has tempered glass on both sides of the case! this case only cost 60 dollars and it looks great! the only problem is that the cable routing is a bit poor because the case has a huge slit rather than grommets and the GPU does not have a grommet to run the cable to. the slit also does not have that many tie down points and it does take time to make the other side of the case look good. I don't like the front of the case because it is acrylic and it can get scratched pretty easily. this case is 60 dollars though so for the price I can't really complain about the front of the case not being tempered glass. this case does look great when you finish it and put some work into it. I like this case because it looks good and I just slapped my system into it and it only took me 4 hours to build it.

Bad fan quality and failed customer support

We've built several gaming rigs over the years, most used for content creation and high end editing. We decided to try out this Thermaltake case as it fit the build we were going for. This was the first and last Thermaltake case we'll ever buy. Within 2 days the front fans started to make a grinding noise and got progressively worse. After inspection, we saw it was solely fan issue - it was not hitting the case itself. Unfortunately a swap was not possible as suddenly this case was no longer available. After speaking with amazon support, we were setup to speak with Thermaltake to get a complete case swap as this was a brand new order - and we can't have downtime for business needs. Thermaltake says they know nothing of this and will only swap out parts...refurbished parts. On a brand new order and only after we send in the old parts. Basically not holding up the end of the agreement with Amazon. Their email support is extremely lacking with responses showing they barely read any email content, resulting in having to repeat the same things multiple times. They also will take a "snippy" tone with you in emails. Perhaps we just got dealt a bad hand with this case and our first time experience with Thermaltake. One thing for sure is that we won't be ordering any more cases from them. If you do decide to, be warned that their RMA process and customer service is sub-par.
