I use it for Logic Pro on a Mac for storing my sound libraries and project files. This thing is ridiculously fast. It makes my Lacie 2TB drive look like a turtle. It’s super fast and does the job. Will definitely buy another. Remember to keep it in the open when using as SSD’s create more heat.

I bought this little dude as a companion SSD for my Steam Deck, and I have no complaints at all! In my first few days of use, I've installed and played Red Dead 2, Borderlands 3, Forza Horizon 4, and Marvel's Midnight Suns with absolutely no issues at all. The only issue I encountered is probably Steam Deck specific, but it does require you to fully format and wipe ALL materials off the drive prior to use, as Sandisk provides a backup folder and software with all of their drives, I believe. Not a big deal, but know that it didn't appear to be Linux compatible, at least so far as I could tell, until everything was cleared off to change the "owner" of the drive in software, which was a super easy fix to make and didn't impact my use case for the drive at all.

Although no longer the fastest of the fast, the Sandisk Extreme and equivalent Samsungs are the everyday drives I recommend most. Examples of SSD external hard drives that can reach 10 Gbps include this one and the more recent Samsung T5 and T7s. If you are reading this review, you want more, more, more and FASTER, FASTER, FASTER! I have bought several of these from Sandisk and this is the first in the slightly less expensive case design. Equally quick ‘n sturdy.

I'm using this for my Tesla's Sentry mode. All of the other cards or flash drives only work for a month or two. So for so good. Been working great since it has so much storage it doesn't has to keep on overwriting itself.
