This simple and effective USB 3.0 switch with four front ports allows you to plug in two computers. Then several USB devices like a thumb drive or mouse or a keyboard or anything like that, and then whenever you need to switch between two computers, you just press the button and it's ready to go even counsel remote button so if this thing is sitting behind your monitor, you can quickly press this button and not have to reach in the back so overall, this is an excellent keyboard and monitorless KVM switch if you will. It also has a USB-C power port so that you can power all the devices and keep them on while switching between computers, so that's a huge benefit. The remote uses micro USB, so you can't accidentally plug it into the wrong plug-out.
- Ben2024-06-21Extremely fast at switching
This is a perfect switcher for keyboard, mouse, and webcam! I have all three plugged in to my laptop and desktop and at the press of a button it will switch from one to the other. I noticed that the button works very fast and has feedback to know that the switch is being made. The size is small and with the extended button, I tucked it away underneath the desk and have the wire attached next to me so I can switch easily. The quality seems fantastic and the USB 3.0 + type c allows for faster data transfer! I absolutely love it!
- Danie2024-06-27exactly as advertised
allows for easy sharing of peripherals between two computers. has space for four USB devices (type A) and then the two connectors for going to each computer, as well as a nice lengthy button so that you have easy access and don't have to press anything on the switch itself.
- Freija L.2024-06-10Works like a charm- two computers at one desk, I can easily switch between them!
This works great! I have two computers at my desk, a power-guzzling workstation and an energy-efficient media PC, and I needed to be able to set both up on the same mouse/keyboard/external drives, and this did the trick just swell. With the two cables this comes with attached to each computer, and my devices plugged into the ports on the front, I can easily switch which computer they're plugged into with the press of a button. This does actually come with a little clicker button you can use to switch if the unit itself is mounted out of sight where you can't reach the button on its side, but for me attaching the whole thing to the underside of my desk with a double-sided sticky where I can just reach down and tap the button when needed was the easiest and most organized solution. Transferring data from my computers through this to a USB external hard drive enclosure allows me to share files between the computers easily, and the speed of copying data to the external drives was just as fast as the drives themselves can go (around 96Mb/s), so I'm quite happy with how speedy this is and definitely think it could probably do even better with faster drives. This is a simple, easy to use, very handy solution to the problem of needed different computers at one desk sharing a mouse/keyboard/etc, and I am absolutely satisfied. Definitely recommended! 5-stars!

Review of: uni USB Switch, USB Switcher to 2 Computers & Laptops, USB 3.0 Sharing Switch Selector with Remote Control 4 Ports Overall, this is a good USB switch. I attached my gaming PC and laptop to the switch to control a mouse, keyboard, and card reader and all worked without issue. Though optional, the included corded switch also worked to move between outputs. There was no noticeable lag on the mouse input (which is important for gaming) and there was also no noticeable decrease in transfer speed of the card reader. However, there are a few gripes with this switch that, individually are not a big deal, but taken together, add up to what I consider worth taking off a star. Specifically: - A power source is required. Other switches I have used can draw the power from the USB connection, this one cannot. - There is no indicator of which computer the switch is currently being used on. - The listing indicates that this is partly made of aluminum. It is not. Overall, it’s a good hub with some missing features that are minor inconveniences.
- Tuning In2024-06-30Easy to use and reliable
This one replaced a similar one of a different brand. The reason I needed to replace that other one is because it would lose connection over time and it wasn't 100% reliable. A product like this should make life easier not more frustrating. After using this one here for a week I've had ZERO issues with it. It works as it should. The remote button reduces my desktop clutter. The only thing that I wish that it did have is an indicator on the switch itself since I don't keep the hub part visible. Other than that I can't think of anything else that I would suggest to make it better.
- James2024-06-24Works but makes a very audible noise
The switch preforms well and does everything I need it to but even when both computers are off it makes a very audible whine (commonly known as coil whine) which is very annoying.
- Tenmiles2024-06-29No LED indicator, doesn't play nice with RGB keyboard settings
I wanted to upgrade my USB switch, and thought I would try this one, but It's not the upgrade I was hoping for. PROS: It has a switch button on a wire that plugs into the side, to allow you to place the button wherever is convenient and in reach, while the device itself can be positioned out of reach or under the desk. CONS: It has no LED indicator to show which computer is currently selected. Every other switch I've used had a light (or two) to show which side was currently switched on. This is a dumb oversight. It has fewer USB ports than my other switch (three may be enough for you). CONFUSING: It can be plugged in to a power supply, which I assume must help it deliver power through the USB-C port if there is too much power demand going on, but I found that the switch still works fine without being plugged in to a power source. Also, other switches I've used maintain my keyboard's RGB setting, but with this switch, each time I switch between computers, the RGB settings on the keyboard reset and I have to tap out a couple of keystrokes to restore my desired color scheme. Every time I switch. This, combined with the lack of an indicator LED, are the combined reasons that made me decide I am not really happy sticking with this switch for the long term. It's not bad, it's just lacking features I assumed were standard on devices like this, and as a consequence, it is not the upgrade I was looking for from my old switch.
- Peter2024-06-30Simple to use right out of the box.
Plug everything in and it just… works. I have a keyboard, camera, mouse, and tablet hooked up to two computers (Win 11 and Mac) and this switch works flawlessly. Love the additional remote switch. It means I can hide the main unit on a shelf under my desk, and the very discreet remote switch sits to the side of my monitor. Great product. Very straight forward setup, and includes two USB cables, if you can’t have too many :)
- adrian2024-06-29Not what i expected from Uni
I own a lot of different Uni products and hold them in high regard. I own multiple Uni cables, a Uni usb-c hub, Uni SD card adapters, etc. For this specific product, i was expected something with the same sturdy, premium feel to it. This product doesn’t live up to it. It’s plastic construction and doesn’t have that same thick, sturdiness to the plastic that other Uni products have; the plastic shell has some flex to it and its weight feels like light and airy. Functionally, it works as advertised. It has a usb-c cable that has a button attachment which allows you to remotely switch the set of usb inputs. It has another usb-c on the back that is used for power to the device and then 2 additional usb-a ports that you’d connect to your PCs/host devices. On the frontside, you’ve got 3 usb-A ports and 1 usb-c inputs that you can use for your peripherals. It switches fairly effortlessly between the two host devices between the remote button and the button on the actual hub; whichever you’d like to use.
