Whether you’re an established Catholic or Christian, or someone one new to Christ faith, this is an awesome movie depicting from the time Jesus first befriended Peter, and began his movement of the “New Testament”, their journey gathering the 12 apostles and all Christ’s followers, the parables and lessons he taught in public, the horrors an innocent man endured, to the moment he was crucified and commended his spirit to God in Heaven. And then a smaller telling from the day he rose again on the 3rd day, then visitations to his apostles before ascending into Heaven until his 2nd coming. AWESOME MOVIE!

This is one of my favorite Christian movies. The man that plays Jesus is just beautiful. He has a soft-spoken calming demeanor that you would expect from jesus. he’s just perfect. Highly recommend.

If you’re a huge follower of the Bible, you may be a little disappointed on some of the scenes that were skipped in order to fit it within its timeframe. The scenes that were skipped were pretty important and if you’re looking to compare it to Mel Gibson’s movie, it’s day and night. Mel Gibson made it amazing. These guys did a good job too. Don’t expect too much.
