This screen is excellent! It is very cleverly designed and very well made. It feels sturdy and solid. It folds up securely—I would have no problem tossing it in a backpack. It is relatively light as well. Not at all like carrying a monitor or another laptop. Connecting it is quite simple and it attaches securely to the main laptop screen. I tested connection via USB-C and USB and HDMI. Both worked perfectly and the screen was recognized by Windows immediately. The screen puts up a little text when you connect telling what resolution it is running etc.--very nice. I tested it with motion video and office applications—it worked flawlessly. The color rendition looks correct as well. The speaker inside is useful and it connected automatically as well. It is easy to setup on newer laptop models but for my laptop which has mini hdmi port needs converter. My laptop is on the bigger side so it was great that it would extend/stretch to accommodate. The extender screen is clear. It is a bit heavy like any extender would, but it's not too heavy. With the kickstand, it holds up well while on a surface. I also used it by placing my laptop directly on my lap and it would still hold. No cons per se, but the main things for me were 1) I had to take some time to figure out how to get my laptop and the extender to connect as it would say "no signal." I did appreciate the seller for reaching out as soon as the product arrived and giving further instructions in case I ran into this issue. I was able to go to the message they sent to self-resolve. Seems like this might be a common issue so recommend that you check their message as a pro-tip as it is an easy fix. 2) if you use it on your lap and you move around (like big movements), watch out for the cords because it can impact the signal.
