- Maria Henderson2024-03-27Very easy to set up
Right out of the box the set up was very simple and straightforward didnt even need instructions (should still use them ofc). This monitor has everything u could be looking for and for the price its amazing it runs perfectly smoothly and no dead pixels. This monitor was perfect for me also cuz i was looking for a budget monitor for my ps5 and its hard to find a budget monitor that has HDMI 2.1 but this one does and also has free sync n g sync for xbox which is amazing.

- Meehoy Minoy2024-07-01Great monitor but doesn't work well with VESA mounting plates that support both 75mm and 100mm
Works great, the color displays beautifully, the refresh rate is awesome. Works well with my M3 MacBook Air as an extended display. I guess the only issue I experienced was when I was installing the VESA mounting plate for a wall arm I attached it to. The arm I purchased, included 2 lengths for the attachment screws for the mounting plate. Long story short, the top row and bottom row required different length screws, and the top portion had no issues, but the bottom portion required an in-between length, which I had to purchase separately. There is also a screw knob that needed to be installed, but because of the v-shaped protrusion on the back of the display, the knob didn't fit. I had to purchase a separate screw for that as well. I would have had a better time mounting this monitor if the back was flat and the screw holes were at the same height. Despite that, this is a great quality monitor for work or gaming.
- Chris2024-04-09This is a VA panel not ips
Disappointed to find out this monitor is actually a va panel and not an ips, as advertised. Also, no red backlights on this particular panel either as advertised. That or they simply don't work, since it looks like they are supposed to light up but don't. That said, I've been pleasantly surprised with the performance and picture quality. I purchased this model specifically for the 2 hdmi 2.1 and 2 1.4 display ports, and after having both my laptop and PS5 slim connected to it for a few days, I'm thoroughly satisfied with this purchase. For 200 bucks you won't find a better 1440p/180hz monitor. Colors are vibrant and having the ability to play 120fps consistently through my ps5 is huge. Wish they could have made the stand have a smaller footprint, but it's not a deal breaker. I'm taking a star off my rating for the false advertising in the description as "fast ips", but aside from that, the performance of this monitor is incredible for the price.
- David G. Stidham2023-11-07Great 27" 4K monitor for the price
I wanted a non-curved 4K monitor and I wanted one that was up to 28" for the pixel density that can be achieved at 4K and that size. This monitor was not priced as much as competitors in the same size bracket. I am not a hardcore gaming enthusiast. The pixel density allows for a very crisp display of text, and high-resolution streaming media. My monitor arrived without any dead or stuck pixels. Assembling the monitor to the stand was very easy. The stand is sturdy. The screen brightness is not consistent from left to right. It is consistent from top to bottom. The left and right edges of the monitor are slightly less bright than the rest of the monitor. Is this a deal breaker, no. Generally, visual attention is on the center area of any monitor and the left and right periphery are not the primary area of focus under usual usage. I have been out of the PC component market for some time and had never heard of this brand before it showed up in the suggestions on Amazon. I was not able to find much information through my usual research channels so decided to take a chance. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this maker AND this model to anyone who is looking for a budget-conscious 27" 4K monitor. I do not think you will be disappointed.
- Manuel B.2023-02-09Xbox X Series FPS competitor
This monitor..... By far..... hands down. Is the best monitor I've ever owned!.. I've owned few other monitors' from a couple Samsungs.. An Acer, and a Spectre Monitor... This Monitor.... You can't beat it for it's Price!... And Quality.. both picture clarity & **performance**. I can't be making this up.... My only complain... Is that I can't adjusts the contrast or brightness' Through FPS or GAME mode presets. That's where the colors , dark and light brights show more vibrant and vividly. However? Xbox has an option where you're able to adjust the brightness on contrasts/brights...Then I'll go to the actual game and modify the brightness according to my visual feel ... Nonetheless.. I highly recommend this Monitor.... For serious competitors on the field... FPS shooter games feels great buttery smooth, followed by responsive and excellent refresh rates ... Reacting towards walking targets and seeing the colorful blood spash indicate your hits are landing on point.. this is for serious competitors hence best time reaction feeling satisfied off combat ADS fight... Now I love using red dot attachments! . Take my word for it... This Monitor best other monitors I've owned that coasted more... Running 120hz plus Freesync , and overdrive at Highest?, No ghosting or smears.... Hope this review will out those looking for a great monitor for good budget.. take it from a serious competitor running tournaments!, ;-) Go gettem' happy gaming!,
- SS2024-05-30Great monitor - Difficult mounting
Meets or exceeds all listed features aside from VESA mounting. VESA details at the end. VRR works great. No tearing with it enabled. Colors are solid. The box comes with a calibration document but I'm not sure if it's fully accurate. It appears every buyer might receive the same paper. A bit of tweaking and the colors look great. HDR works well. No issues with washout or improper colors. Display Port supports 240hz, HDMI will only push 144. Along with the multiple display inputs this thing actually has a Picture in Picture mode. Have not really used it but great to know I can if needed. ------------------- VESA details/issues It is designed for ONLY VESA 75. If you have or are considering to buy one of the very common VESA hybrid 75/100 mounts - do not. This is unless you feel like making your own custom rigging to try and have the mount fit to the monitor. A large part of this problem is how the back of the device is designed. The mounting plate is depressed into the unit with the back cover cut & curved in such a way that hybrid 75/100 VESA mounting plates simply will not fit. Customer support tries to be helpful but does not have documentation of what their own monitor supports for either VESA or screw size. For reference - the needed screws are #8-32. Length is unfortunately something that you will need to play around with depending on mount and hexagonal bolts(or studs). The bolts/studs are not easy to come by so I picked up 5/8" long #8-32 couplings and am working on attaching with #8-32 screws.
- vicente2024-02-05Not VRR compatible !!! Still great monitor
1. I was looking for a 1440p VRR compatible gaming monitor to use with my PS5 but even though this monitor has HDMI 2.1 it’s still not compatible and yes I even tried it with a HDMI 2.1 cable and still didn’t work. I guess I’ll just have to go with a 4k monitor to be able to use VRR on PS5 2. With that being said still a GREAT MONITOR. I tried the Samsung Odyssey G55A and KOORUI 24 inch 1440p 165hz and both could not compete with this monitor and that’s why i’m giving it 5 stars even though VRR didn’t work. I was experiencing frame rate lag with those last 2 monitors unless I put it in the FPS preset mode but then the colors would get washed out drastically, almost looking complete greyish until I finally tried this monitor and omg was I impressed literally night and day difference. All you have to do is enable FPS/shooter preset and you’re all set and if anything colors pop even more on this preset i’m so happy with the purchase, no frame rate lag and beautiful bright colors. You don’t have to sacrifice either one with this monitor. 3. Now durability wise i don’t know I’ve only had it for a day so only time will tell but hopefully it holds up.
- Fast2024-03-27Great monitor for price point
Running games at 1440 100-120fps and it looks great.
- Sean Newton2023-11-30USB-C port failed after two weeks
This is an amended review. I am seriously unhappy, as the USB-C port has failed after two weeks of use. I've tested now with multiple cables and two different macbook pro's which were confirmed to work with usb-c already. The monitor's USB-C port is simply no longer providing voltage or accepting a video signal. All other ports remain functional, but USB-C video is half of this monitor's purpose, and to have it fail after such a short time is ridiculous. Previous version of review is below. I WAS very happy with it, but paying a few hundred for a monitor, only to have it lose one of its key features in such a short time is ridiculous. Before folks ask - there has been no rough treatment of the port or cables, and the usb-c cable was routed through the monitor stand to protect it from getting yanked. It worked the night before, then I plugged the cable into my laptop the next day and it acted like it was not connected. No amount of cable swapping or device swapping has fixed it, so I'm very sure the port has died on the monitor. === One star reduced because if I turn on HDR mode on the Mac, it gives washed-out colors. This is not an uncommon thing with HDR monitors, but it seems the only resolution is to buy a color calibrator and do a full custom calibration with HDR turned on. This is ridiculous, but I blame the mac as much as I blame the monitor. It also has flickering along the top of the screen IF you are using 144Hz mode on a mac over usb-c. However, this is likely the cable's fault, as I have no problem with PS5's. And I can step the monitor down to 120Hz on the mac and it has zero problems. The USB cable provided is also pretty short if you aren't planning to leave your laptop on the desk next to the monitor. No points deducted here because it's the right length if you ARE planning to do that, just be aware you will need a longer cable if you want to use your laptop in your lap. Despite these grumbles, I am pretty happy with this monitor. Its main mission in life is to provide a screen for my second PS5 so that my son and I can play together, and at that it works great. Its secondary mission is to provide a second monitor when I'm using my laptop in my room, and it accomplishes that well after taking into account the caveats above. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that it provides a 65W charge to my laptop when it is connected over usb-c. Depending on what I'm doing on my laptop (if I play Battletech on Steam in particular), it can consume more than that, but any time I'm doing actual work 65W is more than enough.
