This device is unobtrusively small but does a great job. My aging laptop doesn't support 5G but with this little adapter I regularly see download speeds over 200MBps, whereas before only around 50MBps. Comprehensive setup instructions come with this gadget, plus a dongle driver, and everything is contained within a neat little box. Setup was remarkably easy - I just plugged it in and it worked straightaway. It's rated for WiFi6, so certainly future-proofed for some time to come. I have a dual band router and show screenshots of the 2.4Ghz speed without the adapter and the 5Ghz speed with the adapter installed. Overall, faultless performance and a great price - recommended.

Not exactly Plug n Play, you need to use the included USB drive and follow some simple directions. It doesn't load or need any annoying software like some adapters do. Speed is good, 347Mbps in a bad location. My Wi-Fi 6 laptop does about the same in that location but is faster in the other room. My internet maxes out around 500Mbps. Good value, I paid less than $20 with the coupon.

My original AX1800 went intermittent and finally died. Contacted Sana at Nineplus (on a Sunday) about a warranty claim. I was surprised when a response came an hour later that said a replacement was on the way. The replacement arrived Tuesday night. The adapter worked well. Job well done by Nineplus and Sana. You have a customer for life.

(Updated from 2 to 3 stars as I was able to get better speeds by moving the PC case around a bit) (Updated from 3 to 4 stars as I was able to get great speeds right next to the router) I will say this much, it was easy enough to get working. I much prefer drivers on USB stick vs. optical media. It's connected to my very powerful WiFi 6 router on 5GHz channel. Windows Network and Internet>WiFi>WiFi2 says its protocol is 802.11ax, with link speed of 1201/1201 (Mbps). It is running on the Mediatek driver (v1.0.0.94) that was included in the USB drive, which was installed per the instructions. I have it connected to a new home media server box I'm installing software on. It is plugged into a USB 3.2 Gen 1 jack on the backplate of computer, not a jack on the front case panel. This server is about 4 feet away (and maybe 2 feet physically further) than my daily-use PC from the router, which is about 20 feet away. Signal passes thru two sheetrock walls on way to this location in my office. I have Gigabit internet. The daily-use PC has a WiFi 6 receiver built into motherboard. It does have it's own external antenna so it has an advantage there vs this USB device. My regular PC sees 900Mb/s on Ookla Internet Speedtest, day in and day out. The router itself only gets about 925Mb/s from the internet. So this spot in my home has pretty solid reception. My phone, also WiFi 6, gets close to 700 Mb/s reception sitting on top of the case that this USB dongle is attached to. However, this USB dongle, 4 feet away from my PC barely cracks 350Mb/s on Speedtest. Again, though, the PC has a little external antenna that this doesn't. But my phone doesn't and it's still much faster. At similar distance from router, one can get this kind of performance from much cheaper USB Wi-Fi dongles is the long and short of things for me. However, if you use it right next to the physical router, the advertised speeds are achieved ... so (updated to) the 4 stars.

dosen't work out of the box

I had difficulty with the first one I received. I went to the chat line and discussed the issues with Sana. He was great at leading me through the process of installation. I had performed the same steps and neither he nor I could get it working. He sent me a replacement and it arrived in less than 24 hours. I installed it into a USB port, rebooted the PC and it worked!!! The steps we had gone through the previous day were all correct. Obviously, the original stick was not working properly. The new one continues to work properly. Thank you Sana - job well done!!!!

Super easy setup, instructions are very clear and also includes video on the drive of how to install it and troubleshoot if you run into problems. Great signal strength and the size of a flash drive so it does not get in your way at all.

The product was a WiFi adapter and I needed help installing it. Sana knew exactly what to do so and used video chat so he could see my computer. The only complaint I have has nothing to do with him. It's the fact that it took a long time for me to enter into the video chat. Not sure why it was such a long delay. The last problem was that I lost almost all sound with him at the end and couldn't get it back. I could barely hear him. Luckily, we were finished and my adapter was installed correctly. So great guy, great job, and I appreciate his help! 😊👍

This works wonderfully. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is setup video is worthless. Go directly to their website & watch the setup video there. You will be up & running in less than 5 minutes. Very easy installation.
