I used it to send the signal from the office on the fifth floor to a construction trailer down in a parking lot, not too far. It worked and this is the second TP-Link set of antennas that I've tried; the first set is a previous model, and it is still working on another site. Quite easy to configure and set on mounting poles. The Main (source) antenna connected to a Meraki MX device with trunk port and Sub (destination) antenna in trailer connected to a Meraki MS switch also configured as a trunk port. It works very well; the Main antenna is behind a window glass which does not affect the signal strength much and is inexpensive. Does not require to be very aligned, a guess is fine.

Out of the box, these do act as child and mother. But they also act as straight APs... With an Omada controller, I still see no additional settings for wireless bridging. I think it's just meshing and thus doing it (but in that case don't buy these unless you are using an omada controller. As most aps and directional aps will preform similarly). I did turn off its broadcasts so that it at least would not connect to other devices, and they maintained their connection (that's good). If you want a stable bridge you need to turn this off (ie prevent other devices from accessing them). As for the connection it's great (it's only like ~150m away), I have the one in a basement but outer wall and thought cinder block and the back side of the other house. I'm at -73dbm. Which is insane (I always dry run set-up, to check functionally. These are not their mounting places).

The bridge works great....just make sure your Omada Controller firmware is up to date....otherwise it won't adopt the bridge.

Very easy to setup wireless bridge. No problems, it just works. Priced very well. I will purchase more for other installs.

Took only 15 minutes to set up and Performs great.
