I don't know if this actually saves you money (have not had it that long) but at the very least, it's worthwhile as a noise filter and spike protection. Opening the unit reveals a few components, one of which appears to be an epoxy-potted module, at least one capacitor, and what looks like a spike bypass. If it cleans up some noise and reduces interference, it's worth the price, and if it does reduce the electric bill, then it's a winner.

I really love the fact that you get 4 of these in one pack. You do not have to do anything to these just plug them in and they light up with a green light to let you know they are working. From what I understand these small units stop the spikes in the electricity. With this ability the claim is that you save on your consumption of energy and save money. I have just got these today so I have plugged these in the areas where I use electricity the most, around the TV, my desktop etc. I pay electricity as I use it and get daily updates on my consumption so I am assuming I will be able to see results within a few days. I will update my review to report these results.

This Pro Power Saver set of four, another set that just came in, is one of my few collections of this kind of devices for my experiment to test out if these devices really work. I bought about six of these totals, this set has four. This Electricity Saving Box is designed to stabilize the voltage thus reduce the amount of electricity usage. The 4-pack should be enough to cover my multiple locations. So far, I'm giving five stars simply because all these four devices are functional and are on the go. I think it takes at least one to two or more billing cycle windows to tell the major difference. I'll come for an update later.

Each unit comes with a U.S. plug, making it very suitable for everyday use. Its design is simple and very easy to install—just plug it in and it's ready to use. It has effectively helped me reduce energy consumption and is highly recommended.

I researched these Power Factor Saver type devices, and they are typically a series of capacitors which absorb and then release the transients in your electricity, basically stabilizing and cleaning up your power signal. The claim is that this will reduce your electricity bill, but based on what I’ve read, it won’t do that based on how most companies charge for power. That’s because these devices reduce Apparent Power (KVA) but companies charge for Real Power (KW) consumption. I do like the idea of reducing noise and transients, as a cleaner signal is generally better for the longevity of your devices. All four of my Power Savers lit up when I plugged them in, meaning they were doing something. Hopefully my power is cleaner now, but I don’t have an oscilloscope, so I can’t know for sure. I have no expectations that I’ll save money though. As an aside, I review a lot of products on Amazon, and continually marvel at how bad some of the product descriptions and manuals are. According to the manufacturer, this is "Reducing the electric appliances getting fever... Who knew that appliances got fevers? Well, apparently they do, because it says so right on the back of the Power Factor Savor box. Also, there’s this gem: “Promoting the power factor, can save the fee of adjusting the interest rate of the power supply”. Huh? I’ll end this with a couple more quotes from the manual: “We can not tolerate the electric power resources being wasted without results from the economical beginning of a little after a period of time.” And “Joices surge forward you at heart, do not forget”. Priceless.

I will update my rating in the next 30-60 days to let you know if we indeed lowered our electricity bill and worth buying.
