I've used this with slides and negatives and it works great. I built a stand out of Lego that sits on the light box to hold my iphone directly over the slides or negatives to eliminate any movement and get lined up straight.

Works great as a light box. Too expensive to use to scan slides and negatives. It's nice and light as well as very thin, wish it had batteries rather than a USB cord for power - that limits where it can be used. I did try scanning negatives. Not being able to afford the annual cost of the software, I found the freebie that someone had mentioned. It was a pain to use, didn't save any of the scans, and I didn't like that it scanned to my phone. I'd rather have something attached to my computer to scan there. If you want a light box for viewing and even tracing, it's great.

Good to view old negatives before I decided whether or not to scan them thru the converter. Very nice product.

This was a good choice to see slides several at a time. Good value for money

The price is great and the product works perfectly. I used a 2” spacer to set my phone above the slide. The close mode sized the slide exactly. Also great as a tracing light.

There is no way to obtain a free scan app as advertised. Also ticked that the price went down drastically after I purchased. cord provided is too short. I put my slides on the screen and photographed them. Item quit working properly the first day I used it. It's going back. It began flickering on the medium intensity and the high intensity lasts about 1 second and the device shuts off.

Product is a little misleading. It is just a light panel, not a scanner. You need a phone to run an app to take a picture of your negatives while on the light panel. Beyond the misleading bit, the product itself lights up quite well. I tossed some old negatives on there and did the thing. Overall happy with the results.
