I had several boxes of slides to go through. This is exactly what we used to have to look at slides. Worked perfectly!

Easy to use and produces bright clear pictures. Very useful after I discovered some old slides.

We had about 100 slides and didn’t want to put the money into fancy equipment. Used this viewer, took pictures on an iPhone of the display and then ordered prints of the pictures.

I am 1000% in love with this mini projector. No cap! The unit is small but don't let that deter you. What it lacks in size, it makes up for in photo quality. It is equipped with an LED light which is very bright and the screen is magnified nicely. Each slide can be seen without squinting or wishing the light was brighter and the unit comes with batteries. Should you need a larger image, simply take a photo of them slide with your phone and be sure to enhance the size of the photo and crop accordingly. It will be easy to do as the projector fits in the palm of your hand. I like that it doesn't have an automatic slide dispenser. I've read reviews on other mini projectors and frustration with slides getting jammed inside the dispenser, seems to be the norm. Not so with this projector. Each slide is manually controlled, which is probably faster than trying to unclog the jams of other devices every 10 slides or so. In conclusion, if you don't want to deal with subpar projectors with name brand names but overseas quality, and you don't want to waste your time and money unclogging jams, get this projector. The price is right. The quality is excellent and the shipping is fast. Thanks to the seller for allowing me to go back to a happier time in my life to relive the carefree days of my childhood.

Great item, works as listed, clear glass, bright backlight, quick swap of slides. The ONLY complaint is the price. At $20 it's a bit much for it's magnification level. A slightly wider base/legs would increase the worthiness (more on that in a moment). Other than an opinion on value, I love this little guy. Been at it for a few hours without turning it off, so my neck is sore, but the light is still going (with higher quality batteries). It's soda can-sized so easy to use/port anywhere. Grabbed a bag of old slides I have and found pics of people I've not seen since I was a wee tot. The daylight white LED prevents skewing color. As for the comment on the base... I don't have a regular slide scanner, so I decided to try using my phone to try to take pics. I figured low-quality pics, but clear enough to share with a few people to help ID the people in the pic and decide if I want to add to the "scan" pile. Given the narrowness and angle of this viewer, the phone slides off, so no one-handed operation. A couple sticky-dots on the corners helped, but it still tips. This is not a downfall of the viewer, as it's not designed for that, but in a critical review, I think allowing for that out of the box would increase value. The slot is large enough that slides drop in and are easily removed, great for quickly cycling through. The backlight is bright enough that one can even quickly just place the slide on TOP of the glass for a quick peek too. Dead-simple device, bright and clear, convenient single-switch and easy battery access. Lightweight and fits in any bag. Great device overall! Happy I grabbed it.

I have a ton of slides from my grandparents and the old slide machine from the 60's finally gave it's last. Thought this would be a good way just to see the slides one on one. The machine itself is fairly flimsy and does not feel like it will last 60 years. I guess nothing these days lasts that long. It wasn't hard to figure out how to operate it and the slides are pretty clear inside it. If you want a machine that will last longer and tolerate slides in and out, look for something a little more well built.
