UPDATE: Rita on ESR’s Customer Care team contacted me and offered a full refund and free replacement by expedited shipping. The second set of screen protectors are clean without any scuffs or foreign debris. Very satisfied. Updated my review from 3 stars to 5 for their superb customer support. ESR is a great company as always and takes product quality and customer satisfaction seriously! I used to buy regular ESR screen protectors for all my devices until a year ago I tried their Armorite protectors on my iPhone. From my experience Armorite is much more scratch-resistant than the regular protectors - actually not a scratch on my phone at all so far. Therefore, I bought Armorite again for my new 13” iPad Air for enhanced protection of its large surface. Upon opening the box, to my surprise I noticed some dirt and scuffs on the top piece of the two protectors – to be exact, on the bare glass surface in one of the four cutout slots of the top protective film. This seemed strange to me given it's Armorite and the box was intact. Secondly, foreign materials were also trapped between the glass and both the top and bottom protective films around the edge where you would first peel off before installation. Not sure if it’s due to shipping but the debris looked like loosen specks from the product box itself. Though the QR code for the setup video doesn’t work, installation was easy. Had some bubbles after the 1st attempt due to the debris mentioned above, so I lifted up the edges and removed them with the dust removal sticker provided and laid the protector back down. Took me an extra 10 minutes or so but finally successful without any bubbles or debris after 3 attempts. While the protector looks great and is of good quality, its edges are sharp and not rounded like those for my iPhone. I prefer curved edges which are smooth and nice to the touch. Usually ESR’s products are of top quality yet this is the first time I’ve received scuffed screen protectors with dirt and foreign debris from them. I’m slightly disappointed. Hope this is just a rare incident. (pictured is the second piece of the protector set)
- Jose A. Castillo2024-05-17Great product but slightly misleading
I was sold on the armorite concept, the installation tray was super simple to use, it aligned the glass just fine. The misleading part is the bubble free installation with just a run of the finger. Seems people are having problems with this part. The simple solution is don’t push down on the glass before you remove the retaining clip and second film, this gives you an opportunity to gently lift a side with your nail and then lay the glass down as you gently follow it making sure no bubbles are left behind. It may sound harder than it really is but you’ll have a flawless installation. For stars only because of the extra steps needed to deal with trapped bubbles. One more thing the scan code on the instructions for the video didn’t work.
- Justin Khoa Vo2024-06-30Great choice for whoever looking screen protector for your iPad Pro 13 In
I bought the ESR 2 Pack Screen Protector for the iPad Pro 13 Inch M4 2024 when it just release, and I must say, this product exceeded my expectations in several ways. Installation Process: One of the standout features of this screen protector is its ease of installation. The package includes an easy application tray, which ensures that the screen protector aligns perfectly with your device. The tray made the entire process virtually foolproof, significantly reducing the chances of air bubbles and misalignment. I appreciated this thoughtful addition, as it made the installation process smooth and stress-free. Quality and Durability: The quality of the tempered glass used in this screen protector is top-notch. It feels sturdy and robust, providing excellent protection against scratches and minor impacts. After installing it, I accidentally dropped my keys on the screen but there were no visible scratches on the surface. Clarity and Touch Sensitivity: Another important aspect of a screen protector is its clarity and how it affects touch sensitivity. The ESR screen protector offers HD clarity, ensuring that the vibrant display of the iPad Pro remains unaffected. I noticed no loss in screen brightness or color accuracy, which is crucial for tasks like photo editing and watching videos. Touch sensitivity was another area where this product excelled. There was no noticeable lag or difference in responsiveness, making it feel like there was no screen protector on at all. This is especially important for users who utilize the Apple Pencil for drawing or note-taking, as it ensures a smooth and precise experience. Comparison with Other Brands: Having used several screen protectors from different brands in the past, I can confidently say that the ESR screen protector stands out in terms of both quality and ease of use. Many other screen protectors I’ve tried either had issues with installation, resulting in bubbles, or they affected the screen’s touch sensitivity. The ESR screen protector, however, provided a perfect blend of protection and user experience. Conclusion: In conclusion, the ESR 2 Pack Screen Protector for iPad Pro 13 Inch M4 2024 is an excellent investment for anyone looking to protect their device. Its easy installation process, high-quality tempered glass, and excellent clarity and touch sensitivity make it a superior choice compared to many other options on the market. If you are looking for a reliable and effective screen protector, I highly recommend giving this one a try.

This said it fits the M2 IPad Air, which it does, but the notch cutout is in the wrong location. It’s up at the top of the iPad like the last generation, but Apple switched the camera location for landscape view. This affects camera quality a bit, because the camera is covered by the screen protector, and makes it look a touch blurry, but it’s not bad enough that I wanted to send them back. Just annoying. These were the easiest screen protectors I’ve ever put on a device in my life though. They pretty much put themselves on. I scanned the QR code to watch the installation video, but the website was down for maintenance. So I winged it, and still, extremely self explanatory & it pretty much did the work for me. I’ll use this brand for life on all my new devices simply for this reason alone. Great value as you get (2) very durable protectors for under $20. The touch sensitivity is a little rough. You have to press slightly harder to get the device to respond, I might go into my touch settings on the iPad itself & see if I can adjust things to make it feel like it did without the protector. All in all. Solid protectors, for a solid price. Can’t go wrong here. Unless the front camera is an absolute deal breaker.
- Bryan2024-05-21Easy install however not flawless
Probably the most easy install for a screen protector. If you have trouble lining things up this kit will help. Protector glass seems good quality as well. My only issue is that is doesn't install perfectly. I had quite a bit of bubbles which i managed to press out with the ones close to the edges. However there is one right in the center I couldn't get out and its quite annoying to look at. When the device is bright you can't notice it but when screen is darker you do. The pack does have a second one and I may considering trying to reinstall however I feel this shouldn't happen in the first place.. This could end up being money down the drain if the second install has bubbles as well. Update: Bubbles seemed to go away for the most part, not sure how but looks better now.

This ESR glass screen protector for the iPad Pro 12.9 checks off all of the boxes. The installation system allows for an stress-free and no-brainer install process. Air bubbles are easy to avoid. The adhesion of the screen protector and fit are spot on. It feels like a high quality and durable screen protector that enhances both the feel and appearance of the device that it is protecting.
- Jared - Mr Everything2024-06-10A Perfect Install After a Little Work
After spending so much money on the new iPad Pro, and as fragile as it feels, one of the first things I wanted to do was add a glass screen protector. I’ve used ESR in the past for other accessories so when I saw they sold a screen protector for the latest iPads and offer the crucial application tray, I was happy to buy it. I went with the Armorite version as I want the best quality and durability and don’t mind paying a few more dollars for something that likely will last for the life of the iPad. Installation is obviously the hardest part, environment and air quality are the most important factors, so I applied mine in the bathroom after having some steam built up to help knock any dust or particles out of the air. After cleaning the iPad, the application tray makes the process so easy, giving me a perfectly lined up install. The only issue I had was a few little bubbles and some dust under the glass (not a fault of the product.) Personally, I ran the risk of the slightly lifting up the edges and sliding the dust removal sticker under the glass until I removed the few trapped pieces of dust I had. There were a few bubbles under the glass but I was able to easily press them out and it only took a few minutes and they never came back so I’m not sure why people knock the product for bubbles when it’s very hard to install any screen protector without needing to press out bubbles (especially on one this large.) The install ended up coming out perfect and I now have an extra screen protector in the event that this one ever gets damaged. The only two slight cons I noticed is that the glass appears to be a lot more reflective than the original glass, and it also adds a slight RGB looking filter on the screen (imagine the rainbow you’d see on a wet oil slick or what most plastic screen protectors look like) It’s not really something you’ll notice but going from no screen protector, to adding one, I did notice the image is slightly less sharp, but it’s only noticeable on white backgrounds. It does slightly take away from the new iPad’s beautiful screen but it’s a trade off I’m willing to make for added protection of that beautiful and very expensive screen. I also find it does a better job of not collecting finger prints and feels nicer to glide your finger across than the original glass. I think this is a great screen protector for the money, mostly due to the application tray which makes the process very easy. But the most important key to a perfect installation is the prep working of having the screen perfectly clean, and having the best environment, free of dust and debris in the air. If there are any bubbles you should be able to press them out. I just wish it didn’t have that slight distortion to the clarity of the screen that I don’t think I’ve gotten from other screen protectors.
- Victoria2024-06-06Super Easy Installation - Great Customer Service!
This is a fantastic screen protector. The installation was incredibly easy, and the protector looks to be great quality. The colors of my iPad screen are still really vibrant and the images/text are still sharp. I botched the installation the first time, resulting in large bubbles under the screen protector. I reached out to customer service to find out how I could avoid that outcome, and not only did they give me tips but they offered to replace the screen protector at no charge to me. I have multiple ESR products, including the magnetic paperfeel screen cover and a folio type case and you really can't beat the quality (or price). The ESR Paper-Feel Magnetic Screen Protector works perfectly with this tempered screen protector.
- Alan Dale Daniel2024-06-14Once You Get It On, It’s Ok
The system the vendor uses to put the screen on is Ok, but a long way from perfect. My wife and I together managed to get it onto the iPad, but with some significant bubbles. Using a credit card we pushed the bubbles out with a lot of effort, or most of them. Some small bubbles remain on the edges. I wasn’t impressed with the application system and I got confused a bit when reading the instructions. The anti-glare feature doesn’t work all that well IMO. The best feature, other than protection, is this screen wipes off very easily. Fingerprints and other smears [like sneeze overspray] wipe right off. I think it works a lot better for wiping off than the original screen. This screen protector feels hard and very smooth [slick], which is probably what makes it easier to clean. A problem for me is the screen is SUPER slick! It makes it harder to use the iPad for drawing pictures with the Apple Pencil, which I like to do. It’s a no win for users. If the screen has some tooth so it is easier to draw then the screen image suffers, and if the screen image comes through at it’s sharpest then the protective screen is slick making it hard to draw on. Also, the touch screen remains perfect as far as I can tell. Overall, it protects the screen and is easy to clean. My artwork suffers so that is a big downside, and I think it is harder to write on. If you can figure out how to get this on, and don’t draw, it will be a good screen protector. As a person who likes digital art and drawing, I have mixed feelings. AD2
- Al A.2024-06-24Aligns perfectly, goes down without bubbles, but, watch out for static!
I've used glass screen protectors on all of my screens, digital camera, iPads, iPhones, iPods. Some used a more simply snap on frame to drop in the glass protector for application. This concept design is a bit more complicated in components, but, ends up accomplishing the same thing. I picked a humid day for lower static, but, in peeling off the plastic protective sheet when I was ready to apply the glass screen, I could feel a strong static charge in removing it. A few airborne hairs/debris thus got under the edges of the glass. I was able to raise the glass slightly, and gently wipe these off using the ipa screen cleaning towelette they provided. The screen goes down very smoothly as it used its own weight to stick down on the glass and in applying gentle pressure to get the glass all down flat, it was 100% bubble free. Unlike two other screen protectors made for the 12.9" screen which were undersized and I returned, this iPad PRO 13 screen protecter fits the screen of the iPad 13 Pro perfectly edge to edge. I consideration of the static issue, a gentle wipe with water/paper-towel and drying it off of the plastic sheet on top probably would have bled off the static charge sufficiently. All in all, this screen protector worked out well. Considering you get two screens for under $20 plus an alignment system, worth the price!
