Easy to connect and link up. Works great without adding any additional wires.

I love these remote switches. They make it possible to add a switch anywhere. I have some hanging lights over my kitchen island. The only switch to these lights was at the far end of the kitchen. I installed a Lutron Caséta Wireless Smart Light Switch in place of the existing switch and then installed the Pico Remote switch at the other end of the kitchen. I now have the convenience of turning the island lights on or off from either end of the kitchen. I have also installed one in the office and put the remote on the door (see photo). It works great.
- KHKL2023-08-06Works well with RadioRA2
I needed to control two separate RadioRA2 plug in switches simultaneously and this Pico remote is the perfect tool for that. Setup is very easy through the application. I was able to program it to turn both of the loads and on and off at the same time.
- Atuaturivess2021-08-18Work great with Pow-Pak relays
My living room had no ceiling lights and no switched receptacles, which was a code violation. During a recent remodel I had a wall torn open and wanted to add switched lighting without crawling in the attic. I ran cable from a wall receptacle to a box in the cellar and installed a Vive Pow-Pak 16A relay module to the box in order to provide multi-location remote switching of the receptacles on that wall. I paired two of the Pico remotes to the Pow-Pak relay, allowing control of the switched receptacles from either end of the room. The relays are rated to switch the full load of the circuit, so I have no concerns if someone accidentally plugs a vacuum cleaner or other heavy load into the switched receptacle. I plan to get more Pico remotes and Pow-Pak relays for exterior lighting as well. Could have saved myself a lot of copper if I had known about these before I rewired the rest of the house!
- Amazon Customer2024-01-03a must have for outdoor lights connected via smartplug
I bought this little guy and the wall bracket with a matching lutron wall plate to have a physical switch near the doors to my patio/backyard. I have my landscape lights connected via the lutron outdoor smart plug into a low voltage transformer, but I didn't want the lights on all night. This thing is great because I have the switch by my back door so if I need to take my dogs out after the lights have turned off per my schedule, I can use this to turn them on while I am out back, and turn them off when I go inside. Worth every penny.
- NotTechSavy2023-08-12Unpairing, if you need to
Makes adding a new switch anywhere easy. Pairing is easy. Unpairing takes practice. Took looking at youtube videos, calling Lutron help, and finally was able to unpair. So here is what I learned. UNPAIR PICO REMOTE: says press off button three times real fast and hold on third press until light on pico flashes, then press 3X's real fast. For me to factory reset, I pressed 3X's really fast and held down button on third press until light came on (no flashing) and then let go, pressed button 3X's real fast before the lght on pico went out. Note: you have to start second set of three presses real fast before light on pico goes out. This worked for me and hopefully this will help for you if you ever have to reset your pico remote.

Works great but should not be nearly 30 dollars for the remote and wall mount.
- Ellen D.2023-12-07perfect solution to old house where switches are not where they need to be
replaced the switches in the bedroom, hall, kitchen, living room with the unit that wires in. These are remotes for the wired-in unit. Now I have a switch for the bedroom next to the bed. And a switch for the kitchen light at the door instead of at the sink. And a remote for each end of the hallway. I live in an old house where the switches were put in strange and inconvenient places. These remotes and the wired-in receivers that they go with fix the problem just fine!

Good

I installed a Lutron Casetta system in my new home. The electrician failed to put in several 3-way switches so we used the Pico switches. They work but the delay is annoying and the Casetta switches are problematic. Sometimes they work, other times they do not.
