This light is so awesome! There is so many different effects you can do using the GOVEE App which is available for iOS & Android/Google Devices. This is specifically made for corners and it does a great job at lighting up the space. I am extremely pleased with the comfort of my bedroom with my Govee lights which adds the perfect touch and sets the mood. The light does not get hot when you touch it. The light is like a rubbery material and the installation process was super easy and quick. You can set a timer to have the lights turn off when you need them to and the possibilities of all the features and colors is endless! I highly recommend Govee products, I am so happy!! This does not come with a remote control but you can use your phone to connect the light with the Govee app and your phone is used as the remote. It’s super convenient but Govee does have an actual remote sold separately that you can add numerous Govee Products to the remote. Overall, the Govee Corner Stick light is a great addition to any room and adds the perfect amount of brightness that you can turn up or down. Govee has made their light’s special. You get to choose the brightness, the color(s), the effects as far as if you want your lights to stay still, jump around, move with the sounds around them, and tons more. Govee makes for a great way to have a romantic night with the lights set to a “Romantic” scene through the app. Movie nights can be fun with the light flickering to the sounds and just know Gives can do a lot of other super awesome stuff. I Highly recommend!!! This would make the perfect gift.

Designing your own color profiles in the app can be a little confusing and the colors aren’t super true to the color wheel lol, but they look very good, and assembly was quite simple. Just be sure to stick the top and bottom of the RGB strip into the frame, then push the center in, and work your way out from the center to the edges. If you just do top to bottom or bottom to top, it will seem like it’s a few inches too long. They designed it this way. Just trust the instructions about squeezing it into the frame from the center, and it squeezes in just fine. We have a Govee RVB bulb for a basic desk lamp and I’ve had it for I think at least 4 years and it’s still going strong, so I wanted to try these out in my living room. I do wish the cord was longer, where am I supposed to stick the power button? Haha. I tried sticking it to the side of my reclining sectional and it pulls on the cord because it’s not quite long enough from the wall to the remote, but whatever. It works well, they’re quite bright and you can dim them, and you can control them from the same app as the other Govee products you have, and that’s all I really needed it to do.

I appreciate the functionality, the design, appearance and quality. Also, I appreciate the fact that it comes in black or silver. I almost went with the black, but decided to get the silver instead. Either color metal, you can't go wrong! So choosing, I had a tricky time deciding. When it was assembled, I just love how sleek and modern it looks, plus it's made well! Yes, it works, along with the Govee Home App! I am impressed with the lights colors and patterns! Also, I appreciate the many options and varieties of the lights colors and formations! It's beautiful, and I love to have the light on in the evening, near the tv, while music is playing in the background on the widescreen. It's perfect and relaxing! I wanted to Govee light up the whole house upon trying this light for the first time. (But, that's not necessary! ;-) The Govee Lyra model was considered, but I was not a fan of the base on that particular lamp. This one is more the style, like a lamp should look like, to me. If the Lyra's base was more like this one, I would have likely purchased it. However, this one is just right for me, and a little bit less in the price as well. It does what I want it to do, looks great, and is cheerful, colorful, nicely designed and made, and of quality. (Govee, if you're listening, please keep up the good work! I got this to light up a darker corner in my living room. I primarily use phillips hue bulbs and equipment but I couldn't justify spending $300 for their floor lamp and govee products get great reviews so I thought I would try them out. I'm enjoying it my only slight complaint is that the app isn't that user friendly and its not as bright as I would have hopped for. I do enjoy the color schemes and have been playing with them for different modes with gaming and watching tv. Its a good buy but I wouldn't pay the full price, wait for the sale prices cause its really worth it then. I'll def be being more govee products in the future.

I gotta say I was just a little disappointed with this product. I have a few other govee lights, but this one was way more expensive than those, yet doesn’t offer much more. The build quality is good, and the colors are nice, but it’s simply not very bright unless you’re using whites or blues. Reds and oranges are especially dark for me. Another thing is the app. This goes for every govee product, but the app is kinda slow and very clunky. I use my echo for basic stuff (which works well), but if you need a specific mode or setting, you have to use the app. While it’s better than most light apps when it comes to consist connection and minimal glitches, you’d think $80+ lights wouldn’t take 2-3 seconds to load every time I switch between them. It may not sound like much, when you have 3+ lights, tweaking each one for a specific setting can have over a minute of waiting if your switching between them a lot, which adds up when you use them consistently, and is quite a while just to change lights. That wouldn't bother most people though i assume. I just want it to be known, as those problems could likely be fixed through software. As far as variation, the govee products will probably reign supreme for a while. You can basically do whatever you want to this thing, so that’s pretty cool. Overall i really like it though, and would definitely recommend it

Light came in today and I set it right up. Needless to say it’s super easy to assemble and set up! Pieces are held together perfectly with all hardware included. Connecting the light strip was also easier than I thought. Able to set it up within 10 minutes max. You can tell they designed it well based on how easy it was to assemble it! Adding it to the Govee app was a breeze as well. Once connected, plenty of options and settings are available to play around with in the app! Overall it is a great product. Tried other lights but this one is a keeper just hoping it will last! It’s a little bit premium in price but you do get what you pay for. Just wait and get it when a deal hits! I rarely leave reviews and this light does make me want to leave a positive review.
