I wanted a compatible light to go with my Liftmaster garage door opener and extra security camera. I happened to find this light but not a lot of details to be found. I wanted a light that I could turn on/off at my rental property to see what was in the garage or check on the house garage when not rented. After installed it, I realized it actually comes on with the garage door light when opened/closed. It goes off when the garage door opener light goes off. It also comes on (and you can change the sensitivity) when you open the door from the house and walk into the garage. Through the MyQ app, you can also flip this light on/off and on, which is what I originally wanted. Even though it does come on with the garage door opener light, I am very happy with the ligh brightness and I think people that rent our house will also like the extra light when the get in/out of their cars in the garage. Overall, I recommend this light if you have a Liftmaster or Chamberlain garage door opener or if you are already using the MyQ app..

This light was very easy to connect to my openers. Within 10 minutes I had it connected to (2) openers. The light is very Brite and works perfectly. The only downfall is mounting it to the ceiling in my garage. You have to flip the lens open and secure it with (2) screws through the body of the lite.

This is exactly as advertised. It’s light weight so ceiling mount is easy, and it works in the LiftMaster/Chamberlain IoT. I already had one that came with my Chamberlain (yes, it works with both LiftMaster and chamberlain) garage door opener, and purchased this one as an additional light for the far side of my garage. The most difficult part of the install was deciding where to put it—It needs to stay plugged in, so make sure you have a plan for that. Otherwise, mounting it and wirelessly connecting it to the garage door opener was a piece of cake.
- macts4732023-08-18Don't buy it. Too expensive.
This is EXACTLY the the same light as the Chamberlain MYQLED but the Chamberlain is less than 1/2 the cost. Chamberlain & Lift Master are the same company. The light is high quality and so easy to pair with a Lift Master MyQ opener. No app or Cell connection needed. Three easy steps and you're done.

***Super simple. No protips needed.*** • Step 1: Learn button on light, then Learn button on garage door unit #1 • Step 2: Learn button on light, then Learn button on garage door unit #2 Done. Cake.

I will look before making fast purchase, normally it is lower cost on Amazon, I found this $18 lower a month after buying at local shop. Pays to wait and research

Replacement for original Liftmaster garage light. Very easy to program to my Liftmaster 8500 opener. Highly recommend.

This light works with the MyQ app on your phone. You can add it as one of your devices and turn it off and on via the app. The light is very bright and adds much needed light to my garage. Sometimes I do work in the garage and the two flourscent lights are not enough. You can also program a schedule to turn it off and on. It was a little difficult to install because the two screws that hold it to the ceiling go through the product and you have to open the lens and hold the light while you turn the screws. It would be nice to screw a piece in and then mount the light! I initally had a little trouble finding how to add the light to MyQ app, but finally figured it out. The directions don't tell you much, but you go to device management and then to your hub and "add new" and pick your device from a list then it takes you easily through the process.
