third time is a charm. Bought two other Govee light strips, first were not Alexa compatible and lights were not bight, spaced about 4 inches apart. Second set of lights RGB lights came with 2 reels of 16ft, which couldn't use since I only have one power source. I needed one continuous strip of 32 ft. After sending of those back I finally found the right strip light. Govee H618C RBCI, Alexa and Google friendly. They are bright, can play with music with multiple colors. WINNER!!

ok I'm completely updated my review. I originally rated it as 1 star I'm changing it to 5 based on the fact these lights ARE fixable... I have the 65ft ones and the 100ft ones... during install one half on my 65foot ripped...now I know everyone says that they can't be fixed but THEY CAN. you need a very specific 4 pin connector (ONLY for the 65 foot, 100 feet is a 3 pin connnector) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09DY6KLK2?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 I don't know if the link will work but THIS is the type of 4 pin connector you need... now you may lose some length but you need to cut right at the edge of the copper (oval) connectors..DO NOT cut the copper cut past it, do the same on the part you want to connect (depending on what side you're on make sure the ends match opposite, like if you have the right side clipped then you need to have the left side clipped of the attaching piece... now with those clippys... instead of having the clip latch facing you and on the same side as the copper connectors, the clips need to face the back so that the conductive wire is on the same side as the copper make sure the pins puncture the copper.... I don't know if the little right angle pieces included work but the clips WILL make the 65ft 4 pin strips work full functionality. Now onto the adhesive issue... especially with the 100 ft at first the adhesive was NOT sticking at all.... I realized my walls have oil based paint... those lil alcohol swabs they give you aren't gonna cut it... you need 91% isoporolol alcohol you need to strip the wall of that top silky layer of paint (it doesn't really change the color, just lightens it slightly you can tell where you wiped so be precise) but wipe down where you want the strip to be and LET IT DRY, it should feel kinda tacky, the strips will stick to that...do small sections at a time and press the strip as you go... I did 3 rooms like this after the strip originally didn't want to stick at all. All in all the lights are actually awesome...yes they are a bit fragile during install and I have noticed that at least the 65ft does FAINTLY stay on (it's literally a pinprick of light in a few) and during install of the 100 foot if you touched that little black sensor? that is every few inches it would cause the lights to come on faintly while they were powered off but as long as you aren't touching them they don't come on. They aren't perfect and I definitely wouldn't pay full price for them but they go on sale enough that they're worth it. wifi connection was smooth, alexa intergretion is ok but they don't play nice with alexa routines, other than off and on. the govee app is a bit complicated on the customizing side, there's a bit of a learning curve but it's not bad either...Will update in a month or so or sooner if something happens and I may try to upload a video if my explanation of the clips was bad

These are pretty easy to install, it does not get extremely bright, but overall good color selection.

I love the Govee brand. I had already purchased two sets of strips for two 75" TVs. They were easy to use and easy to install so I expected these to be just as good. I was not disappointed. They were easy to hang and the adhesive sticks very well. The app is probably one of the best I've ever used. I'm easily able to adjust the lights to any combo I can come up with. The dynamic music mode is nice, but I don't use it often. Alexa integration is as expected and works well. The price is also extremely reasonable for what you are getting. Overall, I'd not only recommend, I'll definitely buy these, or any other Govee products. I'm writing this as I wait on two different Govee lightbars to arrive.

The strips were easy to unroll as the lights went up. The lights look fine. I am looking forward to using the added atmosphere in my home.

I use these on top of my kitchen cabinets I love how many different colors and patterns you can select in the app. Super easy to install and if you have other Govee products you can link them together.

Long review brace yourself! So I got the 100ft (2 50ft) strip leds and mine was $45 at a deal so I would wait for like a Black Friday or a sale but it’s totally worth it when you get it! Who would have known that led strips would enhance a room. The adhesive tape is really good but it will peel the paint off so be careful with that I recommend using tacky putty to not damage the walls which is the circles that you see in the video. There is not a remote because it’s through an app which is quite convenient and just overall modern. There is a small remote (1st picture) but it doesn’t do anything the app does. The performance with the led listening to the music is actually really nice especially with the sensitivity up to 100, it’s really cool and I tried to show that in the video. A downfall that others might not enjoy is that white is not white it’s a mix with one of the colors (3rd picture) if you only want to use white I would not suggest a RGBIC or RGB just go with the natural white led because it will produce a bright better white. In the video you can’t really tell but the colors do not stay the same on the one strip but I think it makes it unique. I consider these “smart” led strips because each light can be controlled through the app compared to anything else (showed in the video). On the app it has generated options and themes for the lights and you can make your own. The price definitely is worth the price though I just got these strips today I haven’t seen any problems with them I’ll update my review if something happened though, thank god for warranty. Also if you decide to add on to the strips use the same brand it works just make sure to cut correctly and tape it together (2nd picture). Overall just really good and I recommend it to anyone who wants a little change to their room, don’t get anxious over the previous reviews just look at the dates and time it was posted if it’s been years I’m sure the product makers have solved the issues. I’ll definitely be buying from here again if that wasn’t obvious before 😂!!!

I like the vibrancy of the lights, they illuminate very well and makes the space looks and feels beautiful. I purchased the 100ft because I wanted it to align the ceiling as well as the floor of the room. The adhesive is ella strong. It came in two rolls of 50ft attached to each other. It cannot be separated and that sucks. I had to waste a good portion on an unnecessary space due to the connectivity which prevented the strip from covering a larger area. As shown in the video, the strip ended midway down the doorframe. The remote is attached to the adapter plug, therefore is absolutely useless if plugged in somewhere other than the bedside, unless you download the app or connect it to Alexa like I did.
