These bulbs work great to change the feel of a room like a computer room. Perfect for getting the right lighting environment for doing podcasts or software development and computer work & play. Easy to setup and operate with your phone. They remember their last setting so you can just flip the switch off and back on and it will stay the same as it was last left.

Dislikes: Not Govee's fault, but it would be nice if Alexa understood the variations of colors, she doesn't understand the color Teal, and on occasion has an issue with Orange. Haven't gone through all the color shifts possible, but sure I'll find more that Alexa doesn't understand in time. Only other dislike I have, again, not Govee's fault, but Alexa doesn't understand the "Dreamscape" mode where the bulb(s) can pick up sound with their built-in microphone, so they can automatically color shift to the music you're playing. Would have been nice if Alexa could access that aspect of these bulbs using voice commands, but I couldn't get Alexa to comply with entering that mode for these bulbs. Likes: I can voice control the bulbs with Alexa and can shift intensity or color, within Alexa's comprehension, so at least the basic control is available. But if I want the lights to hear music or sounds, I have to use the Govee Home App to do that. Minor inconvenience, would have been nice if Alexa could have been used for this option as well. Set up in the Govee app can be a bit daunting, but once you understand their Control App and get it linked to your Amazon account, set-up is fairly easy to do, and easy to add to Alexa once that hurdle is done. Lights are very bright at 100%, much better than I expected, especially with the White color, I have to use it at 10% when using my computer because it's glaring at 100%, the 10% setting is ideal for my computer table lamp to use while on my computer. If not using the computer, 100% lights up my living room very well, even at 50%, the bulb lights up my living room area very nicely, but still too bright for being on the computer. LOL These bulbs are very nice, seem to be easy to use and set the variations of color easily (in the Govee App), like stated in my dislikes, Alexa has some issues when asking to change the color on some colors, again, minor annoyance if using Alexa for full control of these bulbs. I have 2, one in a living room lamp and one in a small table lamp on my nightstand. Alexa turns them off and on nicely, sets intensity easy enough, Alexa only has issues when requesting certain colors to be used, like Teal, and sometimes Orange. Other than these things I consider minor annoyances, these bulbs work fantastic, due pretty much what you want them to do. And I can definitely recommend them.

These LED "smart" lights are great! I have 2 & love them both. So many colors to choose from. Some are brighter than others, obviously. Using the free Govee Home app on my phone was easy & so was the initial Bluetooth/Wi-Fi setup. The illumination setting covers all the basic white to yellow colored lighting situations. Dim to bright, it's all here. Ambiance has solid colors, plus a bunch of cool "scene" settings that change colors. Some are more gradual fading in & out, while some are abrupt flashes. The flashing ones are less useful, IMHO. I wish there were more gradual ones that fade between colors. Don't listen to the people saying you have to pay a fee to use the app. I have no idea what they're talking about. Most likely these "smart" lights are smarter than them. The app is free & works great. I have not tried to link these to Alexa for voice commands. The app works just fine for what I need.

These LED bulbs are great. They were very easy to set up, change colors and set schedules to turn on/off. You can set the brightness from 1-100% and even 1% is enough to light up the room.

The bulbs were easy to set up, because the app worked on the first try - something rather rare with these types of gadgets. The app is obviously made in China or some similar location with a stilted English interface cluttered with some sort of social network on top of it, but if you limit yourself to the actually useful functions, it's not that bad. The integration with Google Home also worked on the first try. UPDATE: the app keeps saying "No device connected" EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I try to use it, even though Google Home works without problems. After some fiddling in other parts of the app, it eventually manages to change the color of the bulbs, but it's really annoying that the app itself can't see its own devices, while Google Home can.

Currently setting up a game room and I’m gonna use the Govee RGB lights and strips etc. I wanted everything to be synced under one app or close to it. The RGB strips are controlled by my PC software (Razer Synapse 3) the bulbs however are the only thing that isn’t. But I’m very happy with color and brightness of the light bulbs as the ones I was using wasn’t all the bright even at 100% and was same lumens etc. Definitely recommend their products as they definitely stand out more. Connectivity was very easy to set them up and connected to WiFi/Bluetooth. Value wasn’t to bad considering the color and brightness they have. I have to dim them little due to being at 100% is way to bright lol

I used to use all Tuya Smart/Smart Life plugs and bulbs but I had a problem where they would request an IP address once, then after the DHCP lease expired they would stop functioning because they would not renew the lease on their IP. I also hated setting up the smart bulbs because you had to quickly switch the power to the bulb on and off three times to put it into setup mode, which isn't always convenient or even possible depending on the type of fixture they're being put into. Also those bulbs would flash on and off during the setup, which triggered my anxiety and made it hard to finish the setup. I also found that the other brand of bulbs/switches were very unreliable during setup, often requiring me to run through the setup 4 or 5 times seemingly for no reason before they would connect. I didn't have any of those problems with the Govee bulbs. When I put them into the socket they just turn on and stay on. Then the app does the setup through Bluetooth LE, which is a much more reliable method. I also like the integration of these bulbs with Govee's 6-button remote. It lets me turn the lights on and off or control other functions like brightness or color using a physical remote, so I don't have to get my phone out or shout at the smart assistant every time I want to turn a light on or off without getting up. Govee's ecosystem integration is easy to set up and the cross-functionality of their products makes them more useful. My first Govee product was a smart humidifier. I was so impressed with the quality and reliability of the product that I decided to slowly migrate all of my other smart devices by replacing them with products from Govee's ecosystem. I now have a smart humidifier, 2 temperature/hygrometers that integrate with the humidifier, a smart air purifier and several smart bulbs and sockets. They are all of excellent quality and very reliable. I have never had to re-set them up or restart them like I had to with the Smart Life/Tuya Smart products. Govee also has reliable and useful customer support. They do their best to get back to you quickly despite being in China. They usually get back to me within a couple of days and it takes only one or two interactions to get a problem resolved. I like that I can submit and manage my tickets right in the app without having to go through email or their website. Since my rommate has been having endless problems with his Smart Life/Tuya Smart products I'm going to suggest that he migrate to Govee as well.

I love these bulbs. You download an app (free) and connect via Bluetooth to the bulbs. You can connect to Amazon Alexa. It’s very easy to use. The lights are wonderful. There’s many different options such as; Christmas, Halloween, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, etc. you can also make the light go with your music or TV or even just your voice. Many many different colors. I’m very happy with this purchase and the performance.

Love these lights! Fit any standard light fixture. App is easy to use with a lot of cool features. I currently have 4 of them in my basement where my band practices. I set the default to bright white and they can be turned on and off from the light switch. When I get behind my drums and ready to play, a quick tap on the app turns them in to a variety of different colorations - disco style, ominous red overtones, cool underwater blues and greens - all based on either presets that come in the app or custom functions easliy created by me for however I want them to run!

Great bright, has great compatibility with Google and has a great connection with your phone too!
