    Seamless Connectivity

My daughter loves her new galaxy star projector. It was an absolute stellar addition to her aerospace-theme bedroom! The seamless bluetooth connectivity allowed us effortless control. The vivid ambiance made it easy for our daughter to fall asleep. You will not be disappointed. This is a fantastic purchase!

    Amazing!

Kids love the night light and the many settings are incredible. Speaker isn’t the best quality but for the money you really can’t beat it.

Brightness dependent on distance (inverse square low)

I was looking for one of those laser type, but they have apparently fallen out of favour. Probably because almost everyone I have seen using one, has not read the manual, and misused/abused them. This is a projected light show, and the intensity of the light falls off with the square of the distance. That is the say that moving from 5ft to 10ft from the wall, (double the distance), brightness falls ms by four,(square of two). Ten more feet back, another four times as dim. I find that an twenty feet away from the wall, in was too dim for my liking. Or ten feet, it did not cover as much of the wall, laterally. …So I bought two more. Another issue is that once one sees all the parameters to one's liking, those parameters are saved until the system is set off. No problem; just keep it running?!? Wrong! The system automatically turns of after six hours, four hours, or two hours. The default is six, and the user can change it to either four or two hours, but not for more than six, nor disable auto-off. It follows that automated smart home devices means running these on the default settings. User setting ought to be saved in non-volatile memory.

    Light show with blue tooth

I bought 3 of these for my grandkids and everyone of them have told me how much they’ve enjoyed them! They said they were easy to pair to their phones both apple and Samsung and the sound quality is really good.

Won't work if you lose remote. Broke within 1 month.

If my kids misplace the remote, you can't take this off Bluetooth mode. Also lights stopped working after about 1 month. Buttons on machine never really worked. Cheap.

Product Is Almost Hilariously Limited and Complicated; Not Worth the Hassle or Money

I purchased this product with two intentions; adding ambience to my personal space while relaxing or working, and adding visual atmosphere during D&D sessions. For this product to achieve what I desired from it, it had to have highly customizable colors, breathing patterns, and stars - which is what one expects when purchasing this product. However, it seems like they've taken the showcase photos just the right way so you can't tell exactly what you're getting. Firstly, the light is always painfully bright, even on the lowest setting. You also have to keep it in a large room rather than a bathroom or small bedroom, because even on the lowest setting, the light will bounce off the walls and prevent you from doing anything other than looking for the off switch. The only relief I got during setup was turning the colors off completely and just having the stars on as proof that the thing was still powered. Secondly, the stars are only ever green. You cannot change them to any other color. If you are buying this product because you want "realistic stars" (i.e., yellow, white), you will not be able to have any star color other than bright neon green. Your only option if you do not like this color is to turn the stars completely off. Thirdly, the user manual in the box does not include any sort of setup. It details what exactly is in the box and what each button on each device is, but it does not tell you how to set any of it up or sync the projector with the app. To top it off, it seems like even the English part was written by someone who wasn't very fluent, so the already confusing directions are even more confusing. I had to look up a Youtube video from a woman who made one because she realized so many people could not understand the directions that came with the product. Without her, I would have never understood what I was even looking at, which I feel is something deplorable for a product that has a user manual that, looking at only one language, has more than 13 pages. Fourthly, the setup for the app is so unnecessarily complicated that I very nearly returned it after simply scanning the QR code to get started. When you scan the QR code for Smart Life (didn't test the other one) on the user manual, it takes you to a website that asks you to make an account and verify it with a credit card. If you have common sense and exit out, searching for the app on Google Play instead, you will find the app completely free and with no mention of credit cards. Unfortunately, once you get into the app and sign up, it tells you that your device will only work properly if it is attached to a 2.4 GHz WiFi, not a 5. If you have a 5 GHz WiFi only, this product WILL NOT work for you. You have to connect to the projector via both WiFi and Bluetooth to make the app work, and if you manage to do that, it will present you with 4 simple slide-through screens for customization and management: -- The first screen is the editor for the ocean waves (or, main colors). You can pick anything from the RGB wheel, but again, the stars will always be green, so if you've chosen to keep them on, most colors will not pair well with the green stars (which you cannot dim, either). You can choose a single color (say, red) or you can pick multiple colors, which for some reason will be whatever primary color you choose, and then white. You can not change it from white. It will always be white, no matter what brightness you play with. If you do not like dual-toned lights that aren't paired with white and neon green stars, you're going to be disappointed. -- The second screen says "Stars" on it, making it seem like you could also edit the colors of the stars. You can't. You can turn them on or off, there's a brightness slider (that does nothing to the brightness), and you can make them breathe or static. That's it. -- The third screen is for music, because this product also doubles as a Bluetooth speaker. I didn't even mess with this screen as this was not what I wanted from this product. -- The fourth screen allows you to pick app-designed scheme presets for color matches, holidays, and more. But if you pick the gold "Victory" theme, you get red. If you pick "Anniversary", you get red. And if you pick the yellow, pink, and green "Easter" icon, you get white. This continues across most presets. Luckily it allows you to create your own presets, but if you attempt to pick more than one color at a time, it always make the second color - you guessed it - white. I picked red and orange to match the setting in our campaign at the moment. It was red and white. I turned off all options for white. It breathed between red with white, and orange with white. You can't get rid of the white, ever. Finally, to top everything off (and I'm sure I'm missing something), the power cord that comes with this product is a USB to Type C charger (similar to most Android chargers). If you have a charger that is Type C and Type C, it will not power on the projector. It HAS to be USB on one of the ends for some reason. I had to unplug the Type C-Type C charger I was using on my nightstand for my cellphone just to plug in an entirely different adapter box that supported USB so that the projector would realize it was being powered. The first charger powered my phone just fine, and yes, I tested it. It just seems like this product was designed to only accept power from the end of the charger that matters the least, as it is not even the end of the charger that enters the projector. It does not include a USB adapter box, so if you do not have one, you will need to make an extraneous purchase to even turn the projector on in the first place.

    Great value

Bought this for my room. So many patterns to choose from. Only complaint is the speaker volume. Not quite loud enough for any type of music
