My husband is absolutely obsessed with these! He changes the presets all the time to fit his mood and they really do go with music!! They’re great quality. Easy to assemble and hang up. Definitely will be buying more.

Recently bought this and quickly realized I needed another pack to complete my project. The 2nd pack is not as bright as the first and I have extra pieces that I can’t use because there isn’t another adapter so it’s was kind of a waste. Over all I would buy again but make sure to not mix the packs together.

A month in to having this set and they work well. The app has a lot going on but was pretty easy to figure out. Some people are saying you can't change the brightness or slow down the changing of colors on the timer but you actually can on the app. My issue is that with 8 pieces you would think you can create something nice but there's no real design options without the corner pieces and you can't add more lights even though the last piece still has a connector. The power supply is designed to only work with the set you have so expanding won't work. Overall, they feel cheap but they work fine and still look nice on the wall.

I'll admit that I was skeptical of these lights at first, but now I'm sold, and I will be buying more Govee products in the future. The lights are super bright and I had to turn them way down to keep them from being blinding. That's a stark contrast to a lot of other lights I have bought in the past that always felt like they didn't get bright enough. Getting them to work with Alexa was really easy. I just installed the Govee skill and the Alexa app found the new lights and let me add them to a room setup for control. The lights also work with Razer Synapse so you can sync the lights with your computer if you want. The only reason I took away a star is because their software is not the best. It was a pain to get the Govee desktop app to find the lights. This is only really important if you want to sync your lights with the computer, so if you aren't planning on that then the software shouldn't be too much of an issue. Software issues aside the lights are super easy to install, look fantastic and really bright. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to add some lighting to their space.

The Govee Glide was very easy to install. It was easy to clip each segment together. Also, they stuck easily to the wall surface and were easy to move when I misplaced them. In total, I purchased four sets. In the pictures, I have two sets, running end to end. The segments are also VERY durable. I dropped one corner segment and it fell over six feet, bounced a few times and yet worked perfectly when I installed it. The Govee app and Alexa app work very well together as Alexa recognized and installed the lights as soon as I powered them on. The Govee app has many features and makes it fun to play with the Glide. I would caution you to not make the mistake I made, twice. CHECK YOUR PACKAGE before installing. Two of the boxes were missing items; one was even missing the power cords as well. It is easy to make the mistake when you are excited and want to get your new lights up, so just please beware. Overall, I would highly recommend the Govee glide!

Okay, so for most of us that buy LED lights on Amazon, were often disappointed for various reasons, we all could list several. Outside of a couple small cons, these have to to be some of the best lighting setups I've picked up so far, and I couldn't be happier with the look in my new studio as I build it! I ended up getting the 8-section kit and hooked it right up, outside of the app downloading and pairing the lights to my wifi, you almost don't even need the instructions, it's pretty self explanatory. PROS: STRONG - I dropped these at least 5 or 6 times from about 4ft while piecing this together and lifting it up to my wall. (I did this alone at home with no extra hands, more on that later) BRIGHT - So these are insanely bright, and I mean that in the best way possible, the whole room glows and can be easily seen through my shutters in my appartment. Ut the brightness itself is very adjustable. EASY SETUP - Setup and piecing it together is easy enough alone, but be prepared to have to measure/mark to keep it lined up correctly. Keep in mind the adhesive they use is very strong, and may take some paint with them I'd you peel them from the walls after install. PRICING: For what I paid, I expected less than what I got for performance, and wad blown away by all of the custom presets it already has, as well as custom animations you cam basically make yourself, although it's a bit limited in some aspects, hardly worth complaining a out though CONS: INSTALL DIFFICULTY WHEN ALONE- This is one of my only complaints, and it's not really even the companies fault, moreso just a warning for those getting this. Measure and mark twice, install once. This is a big set and being able to plan out where it lands on the wall is a big deal if you wanna avoid peeling wasting time. All in all, this LED kid was more than I asked for, and is now part of my music production inspiration, as well as the background for my livestreams and online training videos for work. I can't wait to get another kit, because I intend to!

These Govee Glides are the best. I have so many of these things I'm almost ashamed of it!! almost!! They are super easy to install, they light up bright and let's talk about the functions. With the Govee home app you runs your lights.. You can do everything with these lights. You can sync them with other lights. Sync them with multiple lights, lamps, lightbulbs, .and more so that when you play music. All your light strands, light bars, glides and TV lights. And All the light you might have hooked up the the govee app will all be coordinated to the same beat. You can just set one color or multiple colors. They have multiple preset "scenes" if you dont want to hassle with coming up with your own ORRR!!!!! You can go the the diy section section and creat your own sequences. There's so many different ways you can use these lights. It's amazing plus they look great on the wall by themselves or for accent to a gaming system. Really you can do anything . Probably the one best thing I love about this product well really about any govee light is that they all come wired with a switch you can turn on and off the lights quick. You can set them up with automation devices And much much more. But say you come Home and your hands are full and you don't have the time this Second to pull out the app fire it up connect with the lights then turn the lights on. With all the govee products wired like they are they each come with a switch. And that is super convient now instead of pulling out your phone and getting the app up. All you have to do is go over there and hit the switch and your lights come on. That's probably my favorite thing about them besides you can sync all your light of course. Anyway, get these you can't and wont go wrong

Pros: -The lights can get super bright at 100% -The Govee app makes it very easy to control the lights -Comes with Velcro 3m adhesives to stick the strips on the wall first then attach the lights Cons: -The way the light bars snap together requires you to peel back the segment on the wall to attach the next segment, which can get frustrating -Even though the adhesive is great, it’s only great for the first application. If you want to change the layout you’re most likely gonna rip/tear the tape and then you’re stuck until you can get a different alternative to stick the lights to the wall. Definitely will get more in the future during Black Friday. Not worth getting these above 100 bucks. I got mine for 69 bucks. (8 bars and 4 corners) I found that using double sided 3m tape works well. You don’t need that much tape either, I used two one inch pieces on each bar.

Pros: My room is now bright a colorful. I can ask Google to control it when I don’t feel like using that clunky and slow Govee app. Lots of colors! Cons: My electric bill is not happy about it. Sometimes the lights hum at 100%, but that is likely a feature related to party mode…or something.
