Not compatible out of box with Hubitat

For easy, out of the box functionality you need a Tuya hub. If you have a Hubitat this will not work unless you install a custom driver to support it and all the ones available that I found are a work in progress. I needed a project. Really. 🙄. Manufacturers really need to desist from claiming Zigbee compatibility unless they are in fact compatible with the native Zigbee protocol and are not reliant on extensions and proprietary add ons. Running on the same frequency does not make it compliant. Guess I have something to keep me busy when I get bored.

    Better than Samsung the Goliath

I have had Samsung "smart" (quotations added for irony ) things hubs for 2 properties the last 7 years. This device is waaay cheaper and seems to work better than Samsung. My devices connect easily. I get a notice if something drops offline. It's tiny. The app is a little funny with some Chinese sprinkled in here and there but it works great. I didn't get an automation to run (water sensor wet then close valve) but you need to leave the device(valve) as last position on its reset page. It doesn't need to make sense unless you read this and have the same experience. Then it will. And unlike smart things you can connect BLE and wifi and z wave to the same hub ! Duh. Brilliant! It was compatible with my water sensors of various brands. They all connected easily. I paired it with the smart life water control valve for flood protection. Also way better than LEAKSMART. AVOID THEM.

Does not work well with amazon echo show 10 zig bee 3.0 hub

I bought one 2 gang smart switch without neutral (well optional) but using it without netural line. Amazon echo show 10 zig bee 3.0 hub only detect 1 switch. I have been looking for internet how to make amazon zigbee hub, but there is no way how. The recommendation I've got is to get a zigbee hub of the same brand, otherwise it won't work properly.

    Close but not cigar

These are VERY beautiful. I love the item so much. I tried it in black and white. Each one of them has the same problem the are just a little to big by about a few millimeters. It wouldn't fit in the space at all. There was a slight lip and trying to get it to fit, I tried filing down the lip. The horizontal area would barely fit in and then I started on the vertical, but I gave up. This would've required me to trip down the metal were the screw was to be held in place. I was going to do it, but then I found a much uglier smart switch from a different company. I decided if that one fit, I would just use it instead. Very disappointed. The needed space is about 1/4" in total! If they ever fix it, I'd be glad to buy it!!

TUYA App didn't see hub on its own. Had to add it manually.

I'm totally blind. I a few days ago got some new TUYA Zigbee electrical outlets and power strip. Those items wouldn't work directly with the Echos. The Echos only saw one of the outlets on each device and not all of them. So I figured being I just received those devices! I would go and buy a TUYA hub and see if that made any difference at being able to get access to all the electrical outlets. So I went with this brand to try. I received the hub. It is small and is square shaped. The Micro USB cord plugs into the back of it and the prongs go up to the top of the hub not down towards the bottom. The pairing button is also on the back of the unit ware the Micro USB is. On the top of the unit near the front edge of the unit as far as I can tell are two LED's. The right most I think is power. The one just to the left of that is the setup/connected LED I think. That is the one that blinks fast when in pairing/setup mode. At least using the light detector that I went by. The hub cannot be wall mounted. The hub comes with a short power cable that you can plug into a USB cell phone charger. The cord maybe 14 inches or so in length. I got the hub online usinb the TUYA Smart App for Android. Didn't know what App to use for sure; So used the TUYA and not the Smart Life App being their was a few of Smart Life Apps on the Google play store. Had issues with the App working with the Talkback screen reader! But that isn't the hubs issue. I got my new Zigbee power strip online to the hub and it showed all 4 outlets and the USB ports. The hub would even let me turn off the whole strip or just one of the outlets and even let me be able to turn off the USB ports. I even brought it online to Alexa and was able to turn off each plug, the USB ports and the full power strip.

    Stopped working after two months

Worked great for two months, then stopped working entirely. It will no longer connect to Wifi. I contacted Moes customer service. They replied in broken English requesting videos of the device. When I sent the video, they requested more videos of me conducting ever-more-elaborate tasks (show changing the power cable, show trying to connect, switch to mobile data on my phone and send a video of it trying to connect again, etc). I’ve given up with them and threw out the device.
