This is a very easy to use garden to grow fresh herbs on your counter. I love it!
- J&S2019-11-10Makes growing herbs easy in home without natural light, Easy to set up & use. Black thumb's delight!
Just look at my last photo! I was thrilled when I discovered AeroGardens and realized how easy it is to grow herbs and salad greens, even in a house with very little natural light. This week I acquired brand new redesigned AeroGarden Bounty 2019! It took a couple of minutes to unpack everything and less than 5 minutes to set up Bounty: - put the telescopic light pole into the unit and light hood on the pole - plug in into outlet - Add water (appx gallon of tap water, let it sit for few hours to de-chlorinate) - add the recommended amount of nutrients (included) - drop in the seed pods (herb packet included), cover with domes (included) - Press "Quick Plant" button, select Herbs and set clock and timer for when you want the lights on/off DESIGN: clean and sleek, very different from older models and a welcome modern look LIGHTS: can be temporarily turned OFF, ON or DIMMED- I love this feature! You can adjust when they turn on/off. DISPLAY: shows the water level and will warn you when it gets low, on the LEFT - how many days it is since the garden was started (0 on first day) , on the RIGHT: when to add nutrients (in 14 day). It's helpful that "#of days" can be adjusted, when moving plants that were started in another garden. VACATION MODE: can be turned ON/OFF with single press of the button and customized from MENU MENU: well organized into 4 main sections (Garden Settings, Light, Pump Food) . A GARDEN STATUS is especially helpful with stats of current settings in 2 screens- Garden Type (Herbs), Mode (Germination when garden is started), when Lights com on/off, Days planted, Pumps cycle (how often it come on and how long it runs) and WIFI: set up WiFi to add it to Aerogarden app so you can monitor your garden from your phone! I will be updating this review as my herb garden grows. Day 1 - some signs of life already in basil pods. Day 7 - everything germinated, except for Parsley and Mint pods Day 14 - a reminder came up to add nutrients on both the garden itself and on AeroGarden app. Every pod's seeds germinated and growing well. Day 28 - a reminder came up to add nutrients. Day 30 - every herb is now 2-5 inches high, mint is small, but healthy and strong (see photo) Day 50 - trimmed basil twice already, today I had enough for a cup of pesto. Love it!
- Sergio Rios2023-08-12LOVE this!
I absolutely LOVE this!!! I’ve had it going now for 26 days and already my two lettuce pods are bursting out!!! You can see the photos from when they were smaller up to now. I am also growing a pepperoccini plant in one pod. This thing is amazing. There is an app you that helps you keep track of your days, water levels, and nutrition. Super convenient. The lights are VERY bright, so if you’re going to have it in an area where you sleep it is very important to turn your machine on at a time when the lights will turn off at a reasonable hour. Currently my grow lights turn on automatically every morning at 6:00 am and they turn off automatically at 9:30 pm. I’m usually up around 6:00 anyways so that schedule works perfectly for my sleep schedule. I definitely recommend this for anyone who is lacking space for a garden, or for anyone who just wants the convenience of growing herbs or other vegetables in your home. Great product!!

I've owned several AeroGardens over the years and have given even more away as gifts. I had an older version of this Bounty model that I had given to a friend after I had used it for a couple of years and was curious to see what this new model looked like. I was impressed. It's better looking (slimmer, nicer finish) and some of the new features were pretty nice. The Control Panel is nicer. There's a visual display showing how much water you have that makes it much easier to know when to add more. There was a touch screen for setting the time that was easier than what I remember on the old model, although it's still a bit tight for my fat fingers. They've also added a Vacation Mode, which claims to use 50% less water, which should be nice for for when I'm traveling on longer trips. It's was still very easy to assemble, which is not a strength of mine. Just put a few pieces together and you're good to go. This was only recently planted so I can't report on growth but I've had really good success with all the other AeroGardens I've had so I don't anticipate having any problems. Update After 2 Weeks: Everything but the Mint has already sprouted! Update After 3 Weeks: Although you can't see it, the Mint is sprouting. Just a little slow. Everything else is coming along nicely.

I got this as a Christmas gift. SO easy to use and now I have an abundance of fresh herbs. I'm looking forward to purchasing more to grow.
- Scott B2021-01-10This is so much fun!
This is my second Aerogarden that I've bought and reviewed. I bought one for my mom as a gift and decided to get one for myself. I'm amazed at how fast the plants grow! You can see on the main screen that the herbs in the photo have been growing for 30 days exactly, most of them were seedlings in about 9 days. I will say that the touchscreen buttons are too sensitive in my opinion. I haven't figured out how to clean the panel without changing all the settings, and the slightest touch will activate/deactivate the function. The stainless steel model looks really nice but it will show any and all fingerprints if you aren't careful. It will clean up fine with a little finesse. The whole unit is easy to use and easy to setup. There are little plugs you remove to install the trellis. If you cut them down with scissors you can fit them into the top of the trellis for a finished look. They will still be usable if you decide not to use the trellis later. So, don't be afraid to do it. I love it! I hope to buy a third one that I can dedicate to tomatoes and peppers. @AeroGarden, feel free to sponsor me! : )

Works really well. Having fresh herbs in the house, easy to get to for cooking.

I would like to start off by saying in theory this is an amazing product. Herbs/Veggies grow amazing in it and it is very easy and neat to use. The one thing that has me rather upset is that this product has a digital screen that controls everything and it stopped working. I haven’t even had this product a year and paid over $300 for it. AeroGarden apparently doesn’t offer any kind of warranty on their products. Amazon is going to give me a partial refund minus and restocking fee for a broken product that they will not be restocking😒. Very irritated right now.
- Sharon A.2020-12-24Love all my Aerogardens.
I love the concept of growing my own vegetables in the winter months. It’s very easy to take care of. The reason for the 4 stars is I had two lettuce pods that are duds. I have written to customer service about this problem but haven’t received a response. I was so excited at the thought of fresh lettuce and veggies that I actually bought 3 Aerogardens. One for herbs, another for salad and the third for vegetables. The website needs work, I was unable to register them for warranty. Also unable to look up progress of order. On the up side it’s been 15 days and the growth of the working pods are amazing. It is a wonderful product. Where are you customer service?
- PenMF2020-06-12Slow customer service
Update 10/20: Replacement Aerogarden received end of July and returned the original. Though our original garden was white and the replacement is black, the replacement seems to be working 2 months in to a new planting. The plants grow well, the black color doesn't seem to make garden's water warmer than usual when sunlight shines on it, and the touch screen is working well (which it didn't in the original garden) so am upgrading to 3 stars from original review. We like growing fresh herbs, lettuces, and tomatoes, so 4 stars for that...just waiting to see how the plants roots will affect replacement garden or not. Update: Customer service has been in contact, last contact end of June saying warranty will be honored and replacement Aerogarden will be sent but due to high orders the new one won't be sent until July. It's almost end of July, haven't received new garden yet and though they sent me a free return label, it's only good for 60 days and I would like to receive new garden so I can transfer the nicely growing plants from old garden to new one. I don't want to kill the plants waiting for new garden, and the box the new garden comes in would be nice to send old garden back in as I don't have box the original garden came in anymore. Happy with plant growth, now waiting for replacement garden. Original review: Just after 30-day window of using the Aerogarden (in which plants are growing, no problems with that aspect) and closing of return window to Amazon, the touch screen display started beeping continuously with screen rotating by itself through days planted (and changing the days planted), clock time (and changing the clock time) and on-screen planting tips. Touch screen not responsive to touch, so unplugged to attempt a reset, removed all the plants, and did see just a small bit of roots in the main stem of the water pump, which I carefully removed so as to not damage root system of the plants. Beeping stopped for 3 days and touch screen seemed to be working, then began beeping again continuously. Checked plant roots, removed base that holds water, unplugged pump, and was still beeping so unplugged from electricity. When plugged back in beeping stopped but touch screen now completely unresponsive so cannot reset time or access any other menu options. Buttons that still work are vacation mode and lights. Tried to call company per their enclosed set-up literature but NO answer, just dead air. Website says they are busy with customer requests and response delayed, so sent an email a week ago asking for help...no response that email received and no response of any help. Product's touch screen defective but can't reach anyone to return. Busy with customer requests is NO excuse for lack of help or not answering phone, though okay to keep selling product which was very expensive to my budget. Product has 1-year warranty but what good is that if no one is providing customer service?
