    Worked really well

I did a lot of research before selecting this product, am very happy I went with this. Really nice to work with for miniatures casting. Mine set up in less than 11 hours, pretty dry climate. I used the entire gallon one project and it worked out to be just enough, will definitely purchase more in the future.

    Great product

Comparable to anything you can find on the market and the company making this product know what they're doing. Plus the price is better than anything that you can find on the market for its durability and how long the mold will stand up

Great product, USE A SCALE! other reviews are from improper mixing

The bottles came in taped to prevent leakage. I mixed a bit and it was very easy. It is mixed BY WEIGHT. You have to use a scale. Improper mixing will not have good results! All the negative comments are from improper mixing and NOT KNOWING the product is sold by WEIGHT. Of course the bottles wont be full! YOU AREN'T GETTING SHORTED! YOU ARENT GETTING USED PRODUCT! Instead of leaving nasty reviews, you could always contact the company FROM THE BUSINESS CARD IN THE BOX!! This is a very good product. I will be ordering more. Thank you for a quality product at a reasonable price!!!

High quality, hard to get air bubbles out

Very high quality but I really have trouble getting the air bubbles out of it. I've heard of people using vacuum Chambers to get the bubbles out, so if you have one of those, i recommend it. Also definitely use a food scale to get the weight exactly 10 to 1.

Great product, little pricey in my opinion.

I still think this stuff is kinda pricey for what it is and thats the only reason it is not a 5 star review. My advice is to mix, mix and mix some more. You really need to mix this stuff. I messed up my first mold (my mold i did took 1.5 gallons so yikes right). I messed up for a few reasons, one was because i did not mix and parts (white parts) were not solidified. Its very messy.

    Great product

As a first time noob to molding this product is great. First I am overseas in a combat zone and the other companys won't ship to us even though on a military base. Now with that out of the system...this product is wonderful to use. You do have to weigh it but I got a small digital scale and use papercups. I have molded one piece and two piece molds so far and the detail it leaves is fantastic. I ordered the larger amount and had great results with that also. If you or someone is learnign how to mold this stuff is great to use and holds well! Their resin is great also!

This is a good product and exactly what I needed to do my ...

This is a good product and exactly what I needed to do my project. I am a retired toy designer and have lots of experience with this type of material....I have used it on enumerable occasions to make parts for toy development. So, the product itself is not an issue. What is, is the advertised amount.....1/2 gallon kit. Part A and part B should equal 1/2 gallon (64oz) to my way of thinking. That's what the ad says after all. Wellllll.....not so much. Maybe 55 or 56 ounces after scrapping out every last drop I could get....even cutting the part A jug opened and scrapping it clean.....So, plan on being shorted and be sure of the amount you really need!

    Weight ratio

Works as it should. Shows good detail and durability. The only inconvenience i found was the need to mix by weight. I solved this by weighing 100cc of both resin and hardener.. hardener was 100gm and resin was 119 gm. A 1 to 10 ratio by weight would be 12 cc hardener to 119 cc resin. It worked like a charm.

    Inconsistent quality

I used to love this stuff, I've used it many times. I used to order it directly from SRC before they were on Amazon. But, 2 of the last 3 shipments have had problems with the catalyst. I don't know if it's old, or it's been frozen, or overheated, or what's wrong. But, it's not usable like this. The pictures and video are after almost 5 minutes of vigorous shaking, and the catalyst is still chunky and separated. It was completely separated when I received it. It's a shame, this used to be my favorite tin-cure for small molds of 3D prints. I tried a small 350g batch last time and it never cured. I measured with an accurate gram scale, I know how to properly mix, and I degassed it in a vacuum chamber and cured it in a climate controlled shop at 75F. Waited 36hrs and it was still tacky (stretchy like taffy). Ruined a good master model that I spent 2 days polishing and buffing. I'll be returning this and finding a different brand.

    Not a happy customer

Not a happy customer is an understatement. I opened box after preparing items to mold this evening and the box they came in was pristine, the product inside was NOT! Not only were they used, with a quarter of product gone, but the silicone bottle was just taped haphazardly with white electrical type tape, and damaged. Not to the point of leakage, just dented in. The Curing bottle was taped with black electrical type tape with a quarter of it gone. I have contacted the seller but to have to not only wait to hear back and possibly send back, especially when even with prime I had to wait over a week to get, quite frankly is unacceptable. Now I can't get my stuff molded, which is costing me more money. I attached photos. I can't tell you if product works well, etc. because I'm not opening bottles and the seller be able to have a reason to not handle their lack of quality control. I heard decent things about this product and read good reviews, my experience is not a good one. Not the way to impress a first time customer or get a repeat customer. I'd give 0 stars but thats not an option. I'll possibly edit my review depending on how seller handles my complaint and their understanding that I'm am now out more than just the money and waiting time.
