This worked great for my project. It arrived well packaged with no leaks. I used it for a T-shirt project and dyed 10 children's shirts and have about half the bottle left. I didn't use a separate setter afterwards, and there is some fading after a couple washes, but the colors are still beautiful.
- Cavolino2024-03-30This the better one from Rit Dye
I normally use this one just by removing cap and seal from the bottle and then placing it inside the washing machine drum, on top of the clothing, making sure it sits vertical. Then I add the right amount of salt and hot water via the soap dispenser or by pouring it directly on top of the clothing inside the drum. Start the hottest longest cycle (on a Bosch is "towels") and that is it. The bottle will empty itself after a couple of swirls and will mix with the water quickly and provide homogenous result. This will avoid making a mess on your soap dispenser, which is likely made of white plastic, it will stain and will take forever to clean up. No way i will put this thing trough the soap dispenser again, I did it once and took forever to remove the dye from it. Other than this the results are good; I wish the dye did not fade as fast as it does with the following washings though, since it starts to fade after 3 or 4 washings, even in cold water.

I couldn't find a bottle of this particular color. Even tho a couple of local stores said they had it.. Found you here. A huge big plus. Quick delivery like next day. The color I chose was spot on. Did my curtains in the washing machine , making sure I added vinegar to set the color. Turned out perfect. These are in our kitchen..
- Ms Sian2024-05-20suede dye
I used blue Rit on some light-color Ugg suede loafers. It worked well. Just painted it on, no huge rush, just keep applying till it soaks in. Wear gloves. Use newspaper. Leave for 24 hours. Looks pretty good. Any stains on the original suede will be slightly visible (they aren't new shoes, after all) but a big improvement. The blue color is dense and rubs off a bit, so don't rub it against white clothing/furniture.
- B2024-06-26Great for nursing uniforms
I use this to color my uniforms for work can’t hardly find in stores now this brand is the best it doesn’t leave a bad smell and it doesn’t fade at all ! Very easy to use and cleans up well after

I don't know if the color was off or it was the material I was dying but I purchased dark green and it came out teal. I followed the manufacturer instructions for my fabric type and it did not work at all. I am hoping it was just the material, I have used Rit dyes in the past and have had great success.
- Zibbi May2024-06-23Fuchsia dreams!!
I used the fuchsia dye on my white cotton comforter and it came out so vibrant!! I used 1 & 1/2 bottles to achieve this color and stirred it for about 35 minutes. It is only splotchy because I had so much fabric in the container that it was hard to make sure everything got even exposure. It didn’t lose any color after washing.
- DWH2024-06-05More denim color than dark navy
The dye worked well for off white linen cloth I bought on sale. I used 1/2 bottle for a meter. It is more a denim blue on this fabric, but very pretty and even colored.

This old, old guy started riding his bike for exercise and searches for bright orange shirts for the ride. Very limited and, the ones I did find, expensive! Bingo! Rit Dye! It worked I have several riding shirts now.

It works fine. After you dyed the clothes make sure you rinse them until the water becomes clear or you can end up ruining other clothes that you wash together with them.
