I have a small business and use a variety of different shirts so this helps not have to worry about my prints sticking. They always print amazing no matter the material once this is sprayed.

I sprayed it from the recommended distance and waited 24 hours but there was little flecks of spots. The sub looked fine but I can see the spots

This works great! It makes ink transfer to cotton simpler and so far (testing by washing repeatly) is holding up pretty darn well. I will defiantly let you know if and when I get a failure!

I used these sub spray on a 100% cotton t-shirt. I did 3 layers of this spray to be safe. The colors came out decent. Not super vibrant using my sublimation print, even after pressed correctly in my clamshell heat press. I did wash the shirt once. The colors remained. Will see how multiple washes do. There wasn’t a strong odor to this solution either. It may be smaller bottle but you don’t need a lot to for application. Just a good damp spray on your item. Not soaking it. And heat setting each coating will help.

Sublimation is great when using polyester fabrics like t-shirts, hats, etc., but not so great when your target is cotton or cotton-blend. I've been trying to get sublimation to work with baseball caps, but unless the hat is specifically designed for sublimation, I can't get an image to adhere nicely, even if the cap claims to be 100% polyester. I thought I'd try this Sublimation Spray for Cotton Shirts to see if this was the 'last mile' required to get images onto caps. It helps, but it's not a magic bullet. The instructions that come with the product are not great. Based on other reviews, I tried using 3 layers of spray on my test cap, then sublimated an image that I've been testing with. While there was a noticeable improvement in the image brightness, it was still a splotchy transfer, with parts of the image missing, and creases in the fabric under the image resulting in uneven light/dark patterns showing on the image itself. This spray does not fill in gaps or enhance the image transfer; it simply brightens the parts of the image that do transfer. I'm disappointed, but I'll continue to experiment with different materials and different transfer techniques until I can fulfill my dream of getting images sublimated onto baseball caps. Once I finally have the transfer process perfected, this spray can help brighten the image. Unfortunately, it doesn't help in transferring the image.
