- Nope2024-04-18Great coverage, color
Worked great. Easy to apply. Started a new job and found out my new safety boots gad to be black, after I bought brown ones and had already broke them in. Saved me $300.

I got the red dye and it worked beautifully

Nice quality dye. I had a brown hat and I wanted to give a red tint. This did excellent. I'm impatient though and applied a bit too much in some areas so it bled through to the inside of the brim, so go easy with this. Overall good

I bought this leather dye to cover a high end leather ottoman I found on the curb. The thing retails for $2100, I was not going to pass on it. But it had a lot of stains. After thoroughly washing it I used the navy blue dye to match my navy blue bedroom. One bottle was plenty, I had bought two just in case. I only needed one half bottle. The smell is not horrible. However, it is way darker than navy blue it came out almost black so I am a bit disappointed with that. Regardless, it completely covered the red and the stains and now I have a brand new ottoman. The pictures are with just one coat and before I reconditioned the leather.

I dyed a pair of Durango Cowboy Boots that were close to being a natural leather. The only thing I had ever done was mink oil them one time several years ago and the color changed and I didn’t like them anymore. Then I got the idea to dye them. They are like totally different boots now. The dye goes on great. It is a little darker than I expected even with just one coat. I took off one star for that. It is more of a dark teal color not turquoise. I ended up doing 2 coats to cover some areas where it went on a little sparse. Over all I am happy with the product. It was easy to apply and absorbed well. I put an acrylic finish over the dyed leather to seal it. Hopefully they will hold up well. Here is a before and after so you can see the color and the change. I definitely recommend gloves and a space that you don’t mind getting messy to apply the dye and handle the product while dying it. Things can get a little messy.

My mom's bag from the late 90's. Purse had a bunch of white spots and scratches. Applied two coats. Dried evenly! Super happy with the outcome

It was easy to use

This went on well, dried quickly and maintained its depth of color after dried. The applicator was surprisingly useful (I would still wear gloves) and the opacity of the dye wasn’t too bad. Coverage was a little streaky. I dyed a hot pink jacket and it took the whole bottle to do 3/4 of a first coat. It looks to me like it might need 3 coats to reach full coverage. Good product, but have realistic expectations for coverage - it’s not a miracle worker or a $400 professional dye bath.
- Jazzlyn R.2024-06-11took only two coats !
i used this to dye my leather door panels black and while it looks AMAZING, it’s been over 24 hrs and the black still comes off on my fingers. i’m not sure if it needs a sealant or maybe just some more dry time. hopefully it’ll be dry to the touch soon tho, cause it looks amazing. 😫

Dyed a leather knife case and bone handles on a pocket knife. Worked great.
