This was a fun and easy project that turned out wonderfully. I'd consider myself to be an advanced beginner so I used the written pattern more than the videos, but they were clear and helpful the few times I did reference them. There were more than enough materials provided in the kit, and the quality was above average. I'd say this kit is very comparable to the leading brand starting with W, and certainly at a more attractive price (especially if you are a Prime member). Highly recommended!

I've been wanting to take up crocheting for the longest time and I'm so glad that I got this. It's super easy to figure out and has a great step by step video. I appreciate that the kit is very efficient as it's guided, comes with ample yarn, and stuffing. I would definitely recommend for kids (10+) or adults.

Absolutely loved it! Very beginner friendly. Have not tried other brands and had to do everything from scratch (including magic ring). I chose to do redo a few things to improve the appearance. Example:One leg looked way bigger than the other because I was not crotcheting tight enough. I still have to work on how tight or loose to make the hoops which is why Hugo ended up being a bit lopsided and having a tail for some reason. He unfortunately doesn't sit on his own but that's OK:) Note: -I bought this to do on the plane while traveling to Cancun from LAX and it was allowed on both flights round trip. So seems to follow TSA regulations. -It DOESN'T include scissors!! Which you need to cut the strings. -Wish it had an option to cast to the TV or something so I would only watch from my phone. -Difficult to go back just a few seconds to rewatch instructions. -Lastly, be more careful and attentive to the shell part. I messed it up and noticed too late to fix. Overall though I would buy another one of their products :)

I brought the oyster kit to try it out. The cookie tin is very unique, i can keep my finished project inside. I love the free gift "shiny cookie box sticker". I downloaded the PDF and fellow the instruction. The instruction is very clear and easy to fellow. I like the instruction did mention if need to watch video, start from this point of the time onward. So we don't need to watch the whole two hours video to find the part we need. Will come back to buy again for other designs kits. I really love and enjoy making it.

I have never been able to follow instructions from a book, but through the video, I was able to follow the instructions so easily. The video step by step was great and I will definitely be ordering more as they are very cute and fun to make!

My daughter-in-law and I wanted to learn how to crochet. This kit provided excellent how to instructions; and, the type of thread provided in the kit did not unravel or fray, making it easier to see stitches. We both learned new crochet terms that we have since used on other projects.

The instructions and videos are clear to an extent. But- If you are a real beginner, just starting it, even holding the thread takes a long time to figure out. It should not be advertised as beginner. I’ve had to start and restart step 1 so many times now, and haven’t gotten past it yet. Also I don’t think the instructions for the increases are clear at all. For that reason, I think the special yarn is great! I think it would make a huge difference if you have someone experienced that can help you in person. If you already know how to crochet, I think the product will be very cute.

Would like a paper with instructions in the can. I ran out of pink yarn so be careful with it. The stuffing only goes in the body and head. Not the ears, arms, or legs.

I loved making this. It takes approximately 2.5 hours all together and is great for beginners. The small stature and in depth video tutorial make it easy to succeed. I want the whole collection
