This little bag is very useful for carrying small projects. This small bag, made of a lightweight canvas, is about 12.5"w x 4.5d x 11"h, with a handle height of 6", for a total 17"h overall. It holds a lot, for it's small size. There is a front divided pocket at about 13" x 4.75"h, an inner zip pocket about 5.5"h x 6.5"w. It has a top drawstring closure that will close even, holding about four 5oz skeins of yarn. There are two grommets to feed yarn through the front of the bag. Some of the printed butterflies have a blurry misprint on the front outer pocket. I didn't like that there were some unfinished areas on this bag such as: the drawstring holes were just cut into the fabric; the inside bottom seam of the outside pocket has raw edges; the ends of the drawstring are unfinished and unraveling; the inside sides of the bag are serged all the way to the top when a folded down and hemmed upper edge would look nicer and be more durable.

I really like the features on this compact canvas bag to tote around a yarn work in progress. The pockets on the outside make it handy to find your accessories for crochet or knitting, scissors, stitch markers and needles. Inside the bag there is space for multiple yarn balls, grommets to feed the yarn to the outside of the bag as well as a drawstring to keep the yarn contained within. The handles are small and I wish these were long enough to drape over the shoulder, but they work fine holding in the hand. The quality is very good and the price is right. This would also be a nice gift for a craft lover.
