- Shelly Fitch2024-06-07Very pretty and classy.
It's really nice, I see why they only give u 16 pins. I made 6 in granny squares and it took up the whole board almost. The pic is just a little deceiving. Those squares must be 4 inches. Just wish it was a little bigger but it really is worth it. Maybe in a way it's hinting to my to finish 1 project at a time lol.

I couldn’t be more happy with this blocking board, it is solid and has an expensive feel to it. It is well made and I am looking forward to using it in my upcoming projects. I highly reccomend!

Ran across the idea on tiktok Love it.
- K. Todd2024-05-23Beautiful board
This boars is very pretty, solid and sturdy. The pins are a perfect fit. The only criticism I have is that it smells very strongly, maybe the varnish, to the point that it gave me a headache. I'm hoping it will air out because I love everything else about it.

This blocking board exceeded my expectations! Nice solid wood, beautiful finish, pegs fit nicely, tray has space to hold hooks & notions.

I've been looking at these blocking boards for a while and decided to finally get one. When this came I was surprised at how substantial it is! It has enough weight to feel very solid, and I set the board into the base to play with "pinning" out some blocks. The rods fit nicely into the holes with just enough play to get them in with some firm handling, but they weren't too difficult to insert. I had the board in the base while I was inserting the rods and I barely had to steady it--I'd expected the whole thing to fall over and it didn't. The rods also didn't wiggle around which is really important, especially if you're stacking enough blocks on them so that there are blocks most of the way up the length of the rod. The rods did start to bend just a little when I was *really*...persuading...the smaller blocks to stretch as much as the big ones, but next time I'd put those toward the bottom of the stack so they're closer to the base of the blocking board rather than the tips of the rods. The finish on the wood feels like it will hold up, but I didn't test it by adding the blocks when they're wet. I'll probably use this board to pin out a block with the block toward the top of the rods, steam it. then once it's a bit cool push it down to the base of the rod and stack them up that way. I'm definitely going to get a lot of use from this when I start on crocheted snowflakes!
- Anna Grower2024-05-25Works best for smaller squares
Works as intended but doesn’t hold as many squares as I was hoping for. It is a high quality solid wood piece though, I usually just make much larger squares for blankets

My daughter is an obsessive granny square creator and has never used a blocking board. As you can see in the video, she is very happy with the results. She complained about the curling and uneven sizes of her squares before. Product quality is high as well, thick, heavy board and pins. How I rate: 5 Stars = Excellent. Surprised me/exceeded my hopes. 4 Stars = Very good. Exactly what I hoped for. 3 Stars = Satisfactory. If there are problems, they are minor/acceptable. 2 Stars = Not good for me. Cons outweigh the pros. Might work for others, be wary. 1 Stars = Terrible. Doubt it would work for anyone.
