The larger hooks in this set were actually much heavier than I ever thought they would be. Since larger hooks = larger yarn and larger yarn is often used on bigger projects like blankets, I wonder if these will begin to fatigue my hands after hour and hours because of the weight. Other than that, they are a nice set with one exception: my biggest hook has some kind of a rough spot on the top where the gold colored plating has chipped off a bit and there is cracking around it. I'm going to have to sand that spot down, because even slight rough areas on your hooks can snag your yarn. Nice set in terms of sizes for the price, though. Sometimes one large hook can cost almost as much as this entire set.

I like the feel of the hooks in my hand and like that they are smooth, but not slick in texture. I would definitely recommend these to others.
