This Pencil Pouch is perfect for any Lakers fan. The material is durable and the zippers work as intended. The BNT initial could be a little hard to guess but with the number 8, any Lakers fan can know that it signifies Kobe Bryant. You also get 6 gel pens which is a nice added bonus. If there is one thing bad I can say, it's that you get a yellow shoe keychain attachment instead of a purple one like shown in the pictures.

I ordered this for my younger boy, thinking the junior high kid would want something more "adult". Boy, I was wrong. They started to fight over it, lol. I just bought another in a different color. This is a nice case, the seams are re-enforced, and the stitching is not goofy looking. The name and number feel like an iron on, so they might start to see some wear getting thrown around. The purple zippers are the perfect shade. There is also a key chain that they can leave on or put it on their backpack. There are also six thin point felt tip pens included, all black ink. They write very well, and I think the youngest might "loose" his, lol.

You see the pictures, you see the dimensions, however for some items, you are always surprised and with this one, pleasantly surprised. The Pencil pouch holder is in shape of a backpack and with the design, great for the basketball fan. It is well made, good stitching. Plus the sneaker keychain is a nice bonus, I just wish the sneaker color matched the backpack. This is a great gift for fans of certain NBA teams, regardless of age. Definitely recommend.

My youngest grandson was just invited to join an elite AAU junior basketball team for the summer! We decided to put together a "Basket" of basketball-themed gifts for him and this pencil pouch was one of the items. The color is perfect, it matches his team's colors. The gel pens are good quality! The pencil case has far more room than I thought. My grandson loves it! His favorite feature is the sneaker-shaped keyring. He says the case has enough room for him to store not only his pens but also other items he takes to practice. The case is 8.25" H, 4" W, and 3" D! This item is very well-made from durable fabric that is easy to maintain and my grandson should get years of use from his new pen case! I think the price is more than fair!

The key chain’s lobster hook just broken off after I unzipped the zipper. The shape of pencil bag is kind of awkward on the top. Wishing them have better quality control. Inside of pencil bag has no pockets nor inner lining therefore I don’t know how strong it can withstand daily usage by a middle school student. But the style is really cute and it fulfilled a young fan of a basketball super star.

I have not tested them, as I have purchased the type of pens I prefer for this pouch. This would be a cute novelty gift for the purple, gold, and white basketball fans in your life.

I couldn't resist this for the basketball player on my life. Our son plays basketball, and is homeschooled. It will be a fun little gift to give him to use on his schoolwork. Of course it could be used anywhere, I just happen to keep my eyes out for school supplies at most times. Not only is this fun they quality seems excellent. The zippers are good, the little shoe charm seems sturdy. This would make a great back to school gift, stocking stuffer, basket filler etc.

My 9 year old loves this pencil holder. He even knows the name of the player it is supposed to represent. (I didn’t think it represented anybody because I’m not a sports person). He wasn’t sure about the purpose of front pocket, until I told him I would get him a few erasers to put in it. Zippers glide smoothly. It looks like a jersey on the front, the back is a plain color. My 16 year old took the key chain and said, “It’s cool mom.” It is a soft plastic and slightly squishy. I kept the pens for me. They have different colored lids, but they all have black ink in them. One pen doesn’t write very well, but the rest write beautifully. I love the 0.5 fine point tip.
