I was given the opportunity to try out the DRECELL Portable Car Vacuum and also let my wife and son do the same. As it is intended to be used in a car, the 12 V cigarette lighter adapter is a convenient source of power--the alternative would be to use a vacuum with a rechargeable battery. However, getting power from the car battery rather than an internal battery has the advantage of creating a lighter and less expensive vacuum without the need to worry about recharging and replacing batteries. Note that in some cars, in order to use the vacuum you will have to turn the key to the "accessory" function in order to power the cigarette lighter. I posted a video showing the surprising suction power of the crevice tool picking up wheat kernels from the floor our our car. My wife also commented that it had stronger suction than she expected. I think the strong point of the vacuum is its use in getting into crevices and other areas that are not easily accessible--my wife was impressed with how it allowed her to get dirt out of less accessible places. The crevice tool can be attached directly to the vacuum or the extension hose can be used, which will allow it to get into more small places. The light on the vacuum was a helpful addition, especially inside our car that was housed in the garage. There is an additional tool that could be used for carpeted surfaces, however, compared to the crevice tool it was lacking in suction power. There is a reusable filter to trap the dirt in the vacuum, and a spare if provided. The conclusion of our family was that it is a convenient way to clean up the car quickly, perhaps before transporting someone special. However, for a thorough cleaning, the high powered vacuum at the local carwash will likely prove more satisfactory.

After going through every listing on Amazon for car vacuums, I landed on this one and I’m so glad I did. The cord is perfectly long enough to go from the front to the back of my SUV. The suction and power is great, even works well on dog hair. The storage bag and attachments are also great! Highly recommend.

Let's start off and be very clear, This vacuum is listed as being on sale from $70 down to $25. That feels like a bit of a scam to lure in buyers. This is NOT a $70 vacuum. It feels very cheap and is incredibly light and flimsy. It's one step above a children's toy in build quality. With that said, it's every bit worth the $25 price tag. It's taken me a while to find a small portable vacuum that has a hose extension so I can clean in between my car seats and get the crumbs and dog hair. I can never find a hose or attachment that gets down there but this does the trick. It also has the cigarette lighter adapter and the vehicle doesn't need to be on for this to run. For what it does, it does it fantastically. But due to the build quality and how cheap it feels, I had to give it 4 stars because I'm not entirely sure how long it'll really last.
