Goo gone has been a staple for me on all sorts of cleaning tasks for a long time now. This automotive gel is appreciated in that it is thicker so it clings better to the panel of the car on vertical surfaces, which gives it more dwell time to work its magic. It removes tar and tree sap as well as any industrial adhesives I have ever used it on. It does kind of have a smell, but you get used to it. I don't value the microfiber cloth that came with it at all. It was very scratchy and I pitched it immediately as I won't use that on car paint.

This product is good remove the brake dust and some residue on my cars rims and paint it's amazing will use this product more

I have used another type of Goo Gone a few years ago and while I wasn't overly impressed with it, I needed to remove some sticky residue left over from some devices that had been mounted in my vehicle. Since I didn't want to damage my interior, I put a tiny amount on a terry cloth and used it to gently wipe the affected area. It removed the stubborn residue from two separate locations with ease. It seems to work significantly better than the last time I used a Goo Gone product. I am looking forward to trying it on other problem areas. I would highly recommend it.

I've always had really good results with Goo Gone products. I used this to help de-badge my car... first heated the badge a bit with a heat-gun, sprayed it with Goo Gone, and used a bit of fishing line to remove the badge. Then, sprayed a bit more Goo Gone on it, and wiped off the rest of the adhesive. It worked great! Not a trace of adhesive left. (I did wash it well, afterward, and re-waxed... obviously, there was no wax under the badge, so you could literally see where the badge had been, because the water stuck right to that area, while beading off the areas around it). This stuff is really great for cleaning off any sort of adhesive from stickers, tar, bugs, or brake dust off of wheels... They include a microfiber cloth, which is nice. The price (~$17 at this time) seems to be a pretty good price for a bottle of this size. Obviously, based upon my experience, I would recommend this product.

I used this to try and remove some bird droppings from my car hood. It did remove about 80%, but the last 20% stayed on underneath. I applied another brand's exterior detailer and it immediately removed the last of it. The Goo Gone also left streaks after drying, where my other product did not. Maybe better for other applications, but for this common one look elsewhere.

I am a big user of Goo Gone products as I know how effective they are and this bottle definitely did not disappoint. I don't know what special ingredients the product consists of that makes it super effective but it removes adhesive super easily and always surprises me at how well it does it. I had a spot of sticky adhesive on my wall from the hanging fly trap that got accidently knocked over and got completely stuck onto the wall. I sprayed this a few times and was able to fully move the trap and the sticky goo that was left behind. It was an extremely nasty procedure but it worked well and my wall wasn't peeled from the trap and looks very clean. It does leave a bit of a scent behind but dissipated after a brief idling time.

Goo Gone is just one of those products that everyone needs 1 bottle of in the house. You never know when there may be a sticker you want to remove, or adhesive sticking around on something delicate. This automotive line works just as well as the regular line, and is nice to clean the inevitable sticky stuff from sap to wet leaf residue from the car.

Followed directions. But so far has not worked. Made a mess so I had to work harder to clean off stickers on car. Couldn't even get one on house window off at all 😕 It was easier getting past stickers off both places without this product.

I’ve used different goo gone products over the years, typically with good results. This product seems a little less effective on adhesives than regular goo gone, I’m wondering if that’s to reduce potential for damage to paint/clear coat? It does get the adhesive and sap off, just takes a little more effort.
