I don't leave many reviews, but I had to leave one for this device after reading through countless reviews for it and many other similar models. This one is a bit more expensive than others, but I got mine when it was on sale for $49.99 and it is a steal at that price. First off, the device is small and leaves a tiny footprint in the center cubby of my car. I have a 2021 Kia Forte GT and this device fits absolutely perfectly just above the Andoid Auto port. It installed easily and the included 3M tape holds perfectly. The instructions tell you to enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, but once it's plugged in, you scan for a new Bluetooth device, tap the name of your device, and it's connected instantly and Android Auto is working immediately. I turned my car off, walked out of range to let it all disconnect, walked back to my car and turned it on and Android Auto connected instantly. If you're like I was and you're weary about these devices and reading countless reviews of others and worried about wasting money, do yourself a favor and get this one. I'm extremely OCD when it comes to purchases involving technology because I'm very particular about my technology, but this device is the one!

This worked perfect for my dodge grand caravan 2016. I updated the stereo with a new jvc, but it only had android auto if you plugged your phone in. I didn't want that extra hassel. This was the perfect solution! It was super easy to install and worked brilliantly on our multistate road trip!

My car only had a wired USB connection for Android Auto. It's a pain to plug and unplug my phone during short hops and errands, and the cables fail, and the connection can be unreliable on long trips -- meaning Google Maps navigation can drop out when you're in the middle of highway traffic. This wireless connection is stable and reliable, and doesn't eat cables or wear out the connectors in the car. It's not hard to follow the instructions for the first-time installation, and after that it's automatic. The car also had trouble sometimes starting Android Audio. The wireless connection didn't fix that - but unplugging and plugging the adapter helped, same as with the USB cable. I updated the firmware in the car, which solved that problem. There were 3 separate modules, all out of date after 4 years. One of them was about 5 versions back. The new firmware has feature improvements as well as bug fixes -- definitely recommend for Subaru owners.

I had no idea how amazing Android Auto was until I plugged my phone into my new 2020 Cadillac. I loved the features of Android Auto much better than the Cadillac settings and decided to stick with that for all my navigation and media essentials in my car. After a while, it got to be very annoying having to plug my phone in to utilize AA and not have full use of my phone because I was tethered to a cable. A quick Amazon search led me to this box that would convert my wired AA to a wireless one and I thought I'd give it a try. After months of use I can confidently say this is the best addition to my vehicle because of how effortless I'm able to use AA now. The connection stays strong, I've never noticed a lag in my media or my texts being delivered and read aloud. It's a really great little tool if your car doesn't have the ability to use AA wirlessly. I highly recommend this product and would order another one if I ever got a second vehicle that needed the wireless adaptation for AA.
