I've had good luck with Valvoline. I like it better than Mobil 1.

This is a new type of oil from Vavoline. It is better for GDI engines as it has more detergents to remove carbon build up on the pistons and valves caused by gasoline direct injection engines.

It definitely cleans the carbon out of dirty engines

I put the restore and protect in two cars, which both have had their oil changed every 5,000 miles. A low mileage Toyota RAV4 and a Honda crv, which has around 122,000 miles on it. The Toyota's oil is still quite clean. I changed the Honda's oil at 60% oil life (remaining) yesterday because it was darker than at 5% (remaining) on other synthetic. 😳 If you have an older car, it probably would be a good idea to keep an eye on the oil and change it earlier than normal because this oil will clean the carbon out of the engine.

The Motor Oil Geek told me

I switched. 232000 miles on the current vehicle shows that if you change it, it will run you long time but I wanted more. Valvoline appears to be the ONLY motor oil producer with the equipment to actually test motor oil. Why bother with companies who can't even test their own product. The tribologist told me so and I can't prove him wrong. The science is real.

    Need to give it time

98 Jeep Grand Cheroke 4.0L with 275,000 miles. I have been using Valvoline 5W30 full synthetic oil and Wix oil filters for the last 6 years (when I bought it used). All of my driving is city so I have been changing oil every 1500 to 2000 miles. I have never gone over 2000. It usually turns black on the dipstick at about 1500 miles or so. You may think that is over kill but I really need this engine to last. I am a retired ASE Certified Master Tech and I know how important good clean oil is. The thing that scared me is my engine started rattling much more once I changed to this Restore and Protect oil. I think I know my Jeep really well and it had never rattled this much. Sounds like lifter rattle or clatter. Anyway I only have 60 miles on this oil and it is already quieting down. It is almost as quiet as it was before the change to Restore and Protect oil. I re-sealed the valve cover about 3 years ago and would say this engine is as clean inside as any I have ever seen. But there is always some junk somewhere huh? I am guessing that this oil started cleaning up accumulated stuff immediately and I think it fair to say that some of the junk/dirt/sludge got in the lifters and prevented them from pumping up like they should and caused the rattle. Glad to report that the rattling is almost gone with just 60 miles. I contacted tech support about my issue. I would give them an F-. They just told me their oil met all the specs my Jeep needed and I should replace the lifters. F-!!!@!!! I know these engines can go close to 500k miles if taken care of. I owned an auto repair shop for 18 years and had many customers with this 4.0L engine. One had 485,000 the last time I saw it and still running great. Another one was over 490,000 when he traded it in for a new Jeep. I lost count of ones I worked on with over 250,000 and still going strong.

    Standard Synthetic Oil

As advertised - might not be cheapest if you shop around, but hard to beat the convenience of door delivery.

    I've seen some good reviews

I bought this for my new riding mower. I've seen very good reviews on this particular oil blend, and think it would be a good fit for this application. This full synthetic oil is supposed to keep pistons and rings much cleaner than previous oils.
