This product was exactly what it says it is

Didn’t know how shipping a 5 gal pail of oil would go. But it worked out fine. Packaged very good.

Required by manufacturer, does what it supposed to, transmission shifts smooth

For those who don't know, this EXCEEDS Allisons new fluid requirements (TES 668) for Allison transmissions. It is also backwards compatible for all Allison transmissions, running it in a 03 Kodiak truck, 06 and 07 Duramax and we noticed immediate improvements. Shifts smoother, temperature is lower, and less shavings on the filter magnet. There are many other TES 668 approved fluids you can see on Allison's website, however many of those you can't buy online or in smaller quantities. Just get this fluid.

This is the recommended transmission fluid for the Allison transmission. I used four gallons for the double drain and fill, one gallon left over. Don’t forget to save and reuse the magnet on the spin on filter.
