This did a great job at covering small scrapes and scratches on my black car, I can't tell the difference!
- Elizabeth Nash2024-06-20Decent plain black paint
This is a basic, gloss black, automotive touch up paint. It applies easily and dries quickly. It's nice that it has both a brush and a 'pen' style tip, for small flaws. I gave it 4 stars because of the issue I had opening the bottle the first time. Tip! - BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN OPENING!!! Shake it well, as directed. Then, when you're ready to open it, do it very, very slowly and VERY carefully. It's not immediately clear HOW it opens, and the pen tip doesn't seem to be included in the bottle. It just looks like one big cap. It is...and it isn't. When unscrewing the cap to use the brush, it actually only takes a twist or two, and BAM!!! It's OPEN....and it's on your hands, on your clothes, in your car, in your hair, on your cat, on the driveway, your steering wheel, your shifter knob, across the lawn, across the street... I think you get the picture! (luckily, if you act fast, rubbing alcohol will get pretty much all of it off of your skin, and helps get it out of clothes. But, you gotta act FAST, before it dries!) Once you get yourself and the neighborhood cleaned up, you can pick up the bottle of paint again, and if you tug gently, straight up, on the cap, you'll find it DOES have a pen tip also! A little gentle squeezing on the tube will get the paint flowing into the tip. Once done, press the cap back on firmly. When trying to access the brush, again, GENTLY! SLOWLY! (it may be a bit 'stuck' from the paint explosion earlier, so be patient!) Other than creating a chemical hazard for miles from paint splatter everywhere, it's not bad touch up paint! Four stars!
- Nate2024-06-20Okay for what it’s worth, brush broke
I have some curb rash at the bottom of my bumper which was annoying me every time I washed my car. The rest of the car looked great but then there was the white scratch marks on the bumper. I prepped by cleaning with rubbing alcohol and then allowing to dry. I shook the bottle as directed and opened. There is a small paint brush inside a little bigger than a fingernail polish brush. The paint was pretty thin and when applied filled the indentations. As I was applying, however, the brush came loose and fell into the bottle. I tried to fish it out but would ultimately need tweezers to get it. I ended up just dabbing the paint onto a cloth and painting that way. I was curious to see how it would work with small stone nicks in my hood, but I won’t try that until I detail first and fix the brush. It looks better from afar and matches nicely. I’d be hesitant to using it on a larger, more conspicuous area. Probably would have 4 stars if the brush didn’t fall off.
- Vankirk2024-06-19Color matches well on my black F150
Over the years, my black F150 is gotten chips and dings and scratches. This color, black matches really well and has filled in all of those little chips and dings and scratches. Now you can only notice the little. This is easy apply roll. The pin is not very wide, but it’s very easy to roll into cracks and scratches

Doesn’t match. Is watery and hard to apply. Makes it much worst. Do not buy!
- Kim2024-06-25Decent match. Brush for big scratches, pen head for smaller.
The dog knocked a bike handle into my car and left two smallish scratches on a door. I got the SNSIR Touch Up Paint For Cars as a way to hide those scratches. Unfortunately for me, I had never used one of these touch up pain sticks before and twisted the cap for the brush. With my scratches I should have used the pen, but did not know how to find it. I used the brush, it filled in the scratches nicely, but was wide and left paint where I did not need it. I went back later, after reading it had a pen tip also, and sure enough....it did. I guess I am an idiot. I'll know next time. I will have to go back and buff off the touch up paint outside the scratches.

This paint applies easily, dries quickly, and seems to last. Test the paint on a surface that is unseen to see how the color matches - wait for it to dry to compare. If it matches, it should work nicely for you. I'm glad to have this, I've used it on quite a few of my vehicles.
- Michael2024-06-22Only use this for minor touch-up painting
I backed into a broken curb resulting in a minor scuff on the bottom of my rear bumper prompting me to order and try this black touch-up paint. The application was fairly easy with both the brush and the pen. I used the brush the scuff on the bottom of the bumper and the pen applicator for a few rock chips I found around the car. The photos and description show using this scratch repair on larger damage - I do not think it will work for that. This covered the minor chips but for a medium to large area the paint certainly won't match your car and won't look good.
- Shiann2024-06-18Surprisingly good and easy to use. Good for touchups.
I have a ton of rock chips on the leading edge of my hood. The plan is to eventually repaint it, but touching up the chips for now will work. This black touch-up pen/brush from SNSIR works pretty well. The pen part is great for these rock chips and fills in the chips with paint with just a very light press. I have tons of chips, so will probably have to overfill and wetsand down the whole surface, then compound and polish to get maximum results. I spent a few minutes touching up the front corner of the hood and already from a few feet away it looks significantly better. The paint dries very quickly so make sure to wipe off excess or mistakes right away.

I had some scratches on my car from the neighbors bushes so I ordered this to repair them. I followed the instructions and it did fill the scratches but it left a slight ridge along the sides of them where the paint was. When it died it was noticeable. Luckily after using my polish it helped remove most of the ridge and the scratches are barely noticeable. It does work but extreme care is needed to get a good looking job.
