If you plan on keeping your vehicle for awhile I would for sure recommend the purchase of any K&N filter or product. Instead of just changing the filters in your car every time the oil is changed you're able to simply and quickly clean and refresh it. Very easy to install, must add I am no mechanic either. It's very simple to take old one out and just put the new K&N filter in and you're all set.

fit perfectly for my 2014 audi a4 quattro
- shane howard2022-09-04Great filter, don't let the price scare you.
Great quality filter, and yes it supposed to have the split in the back. This is to allow the filter to flex when putting in. Only issue is it didn't come with the stop sticker and or any other sticker to indicate I have a K&N installed.

First run makes your A/C smell bad, but give it a few minutes and it'll go back to normal. Definitely makes a difference.

Amazing product as I knew it would be coming from K&N.

Great product with good price
- Syamantak2022-06-03Much costlier than the original product
AUTI OEM part comes at $30. Considering this as a 3rd party aftermarket product it should cost way less than the OEM. Overall looks good. Has soft bendable rubberized edges. Since the rubber has a friction compared to the OEM paper/mesh edge, it becomes a little difficult to push till the end. some maneuver needed to make it snuggle into the hole. One thing K&N should clarify that the filter itself can not be reused. You need to spend additional dollars to buy a cleaning kit to make this filter clean and reuse. I would rather prefer going to the Zone where they sell Auto Products of Advanced type (can not name the store on Amazon for obvious reasons ) and buy generic products and replace them completely
- J. Futchko2020-05-09P.I.A. to get in
I saw one review said it "fit like a glove". Yeah maybe the OJ Simpson glove. The filter did eventually go in after about 15 minutes of cursing and shoving and contorting on the footwell. I can almost justify a dealership exhorbitant $250/hr labor rates to get this SOB in. The 3 plastic screws and foam cover piece are only the start of the fowl language that will come from your mouth. The old filter came out with alittle bit of tugging, but this rubber sided k&n filter did NOT fit in nicely. I have a saying and it definately applies here. "Everything fits if pushed hard enough" and holy ^^$@ did it need a pushing. I lost track of how many curse words i had to say before i went in. The getting the plastic cover in place and trying to get the foam cover back into place and those 3 %&$@ plastic screws going back in. German engeneering my @$$.
- NA2021-01-272014 A5 replacement - awesome
No tools needed. Took me less than 10 minutes. Much better quality and airflow. K&N has a manufacturered fold point for easy install (does need a slight bend. The one of the right is the trash the dealership puts in. Mine was under the passenger dash, behind the airbag. 3-4 hand removable screws then slide the holder (white part) off. Not sure how others complained about difficulty.

Those of you who have been charged upwards of $120+ for the dealer to change these air cabin filters know it hurts the wallet each time. They recommend these changed every 10k miles. This adds up! Spend the $50 and install it yourself in less than 5mins. This will be the last cabin filter you will ever need for your Audi.
