It’s crap period I wanted to put a zero, but I had to put a one in because I couldn’t even post unless I at least gave it one stars, but it really deserves a zero it doesn’t work at the supercharger stations at all garbage waste of money

I have had an EV for 3 years now. I could not charge my vehicle on a Tesla Supercharger until now. It makes my longer drives so much easier. I still charge up on my Level 2 station now, but need to charge quickly sometimes in the middle of the day or at night while traveling. Definitely a time saver and a major convenience to have this! Also, it works easily, it’s a quality product, and it fits very well. Definitely a great value for the money.
- M. Campbell2024-06-21Doesn’t work with Mercedes EQB
Bought it/tried it at the Tesla charger and couldn’t get it to work. Didn’t have any trouble getting it unplugged but basically worthless and since have seen info that it isn’t authorized to be used at Tesla chargers? Why sell it if it’s not authorized and doesn’t work?
- Christopher Robin2024-06-29WOW - and I mean WOW
I received this adapter today, it came well packaged and is just what I expected. It works exactly as it should and seem well made. Overall, this purchase perfectly matches its description, and I am extremely satisfied with the product. It definitely deserves a five-star rating and I would purchase again!
- Johnny Five2024-06-24Audi Q4 e-Tron….NOPE
I’m not sure if there is a list of compatible EVs for this adapter. But be sure that if you own an Audi Q4 e-Tron, this is NOT compatible. Luckily, I’ll be able to return this for a full refund via Prime.

I have a Kia EV9 and was told that this would work at the Tesla charging station, it does’t! And if you want to disconnect the Tesla charger from this adapter, you have to jank it really hard to disconnect. It’s the worst
- Nitin Edla2024-07-01It works!

I've had this adapter a week or so now and have used I think maybe 4 times (I drive a lot for work) with my Mach-E. Super convenient to be able to use the Tesla Superchargers. I will say the first time it was a touch "sticky" with removing the NACS plug but that loosened up and now it works without issue. I also received the free adapter from Ford and this Lectron feels more "solidly" built.
- Joel2024-06-17Disconnecting the first time was challenging, But then it could be done routinely without challenge
When I first tried to use this, I gave it a one star review. My vision of it has changed significantly since then. So what happened? The first time I used it, I couldn't figure out how to get it off of the NACS adapter. It was perceivably stuck there. I did manage to get it off and contacted Lectron with a support note that had my emotions on the matter unveiled. Lectron was surprisingly helpful and responded with an unlock procedure. I tried it from home using a NACS adapter (I was afraid of getting it suck out in the wild again) and the procedure work, though it was a bit stiff. I tried the procedure a few more times and had increased success. I went back out to the local Super Charger location, and was able to connect and disconnect it. There's some resistance. But I'm not sure this is a bad thing, since you want the NACS to be secure. After all, up to 1000 volts or 500 AMPS could be flowing through it. When you disconnect the adapter, you may have to apply pressure to the NACS as though you are trying to press it in further before pressing the NACS release cable. Remember to remove the Super Charger NACS from your adapter before you remove the adapter from the car. I think the adapter release adapter had been stiff on the first usage but loosened to a reasonable level after I had connected and removed it a few times. Concerning approval, right now Tesla hasn't approved this adapter for usage with their Super Chargers. But they haven't approved any third-party adapters for use with their Super Chargers. I thought about taking away a star for this. But this is a shortcoming on Tesla's side, not Lectron's. I've opted not to remove a star and just disclose that information so that you can make your own judgement. The Tesla made adapters are in short supply. If you are looking at this adapter, you probably or trying to get something to give you access to the chargers and are okay with using an adapter that wasn't made by Tesla, then this is one that is suitable for the task. Note that this is only for DC Fast Charging. IF you are using a level 2 destination charger from Tesla, there is a different adapter for that. Check out the item listed under "Lectron [Only for J1772 EVs Tesla to J1772 Charging Adapter, Max 48 Amp & 250V - Compatible with Tesla High Powered Connectors, Destination Chargers, and Mobile Connectors" https://www.amazon.com/Lectron-Charging-Compatible-Connectors-Destination/dp/B09DCTJCTV/ Lastly, let me say that the Lectron Support person was friendly, supportive, understanding, responsive, and pretty darned patient with my raw emotional expressions. (Sorry about that!)
- Neal2024-06-14Almost impossible to disconnect from Tesla Charging cables, otherwise works well enough.
I purchase this directly from Lectron, have used it to charge a Rivian R1T Charging rates at a Tesla Supercharger were no different than charging rates I get at 350kw CCS chargers Starting charging is pretty easy and smooth, though it doesn't always start on the first try. I can use the TESLA app, but can also just use Rivian. The adapter did not feel warm at any time while transferring 48kwhr in 17 minutes in my first test. My other test sessions were much shorter. Without being a member of their charging plan, its pricy, $0.53/kwhr in the Carolinas. Disconnecting the adapter from the Tesla charging cable is near impossible, even when carefully following the recommended Lectron procedure (leave the adapter plugged into my vehicle, disconnect the tesla cable first). Based on 3 charging sessions.
