This set of three roadside warning triangles is the perfect choice for those who don't like to carry flares in their vehicles (and I don't). They come stored in slender, individual plastic cases. Pop off the top, slide out the triangle, and put it together. Assembly requires no complex instructions and takes seconds. Each triangle has reflective lenses along all three sides and a thin, rubbery, flag-like interior colored traffic cone orange to help catch the attention of passing motorists. The triangles sit upright on thin fold out perpendicular legs. Though this makes for a well-balanced arrangement, these units are ultra light. A strong wind may be able to pick them up and send them sailing, so it might be a good idea to weight them down in rough weather. Even better, when you're done with them, they fold up easily, no awkward struggles, and slide right back into their cases. While they won't deliver they same "emergency" impact as traditional flares, I'm happy to have them in my kit.

This set comes with three triangles that tuck away individually into their own thin plastic case. They aren't heavy or awkward. When needed, simply pull them out of the case and lock in the corners. It takes less than 10 seconds each. The middle part is a thin flag material. They have reflectors at each corner. They are very light, so I would consider keeping something to weigh them down.
