My son just turned 8 but he has adhd. His anxiety and adhd has caused him to start biting his shirt leaving his collar wet. This is perfect for him, age appropriate and has really helped! I have no fear it will break off and he will choke.

4.9 stars out of 5 stars (standard rounding rules apply) These are great for alternative choices when a child (or adult) is needing to have certain sensory needs met. My kiddo has PICA, and instead of eating or chewing on things they shouldn't - I give the option of these necklaces and every time it helps with the situation. They arrive in a timely manner, and are packaged nicely. I washed them in the dishwasher, and they came out perfectly fine. This is something I appreciate, for the convenience factor. When it comes to durability, they are still going even after a couple months of having them. The only thing that doesn't seem to be as durable is the necklace thread itself. That had to be taken off of a couple of the chew necklaces because they were fraying and breaking. This is just a minor issue considering the actual part to be chewed on is still in pretty good condition. I like that there are 6 included as well because that also gives more options. Comparing these to other chew necklaces and those like it the price point is pretty similar. I would recommend them.

These are cute! The silicone teething part is thick and is a nice quality silicone. 3 are reminiscent of Spiderman without being officially licensed, and the other 3 look like sharks teeth. They're not too childish looking for dads or grandpas to wear while holding a baby, and keeps them from dropping or throwing it on the floor. For older kids that can have things put around their neck, the breakaway clasp works well.

I bought this for my Spiderman loving boys. The logo is not quite perfect in case your kid would mind–mine didn't. My boys like wearing play necklaces, so this was a nice option. One is teething and the other still chews on things occasionally, so they both liked them. The necklaces initially washed up well since you can take the cord off. The spider one has grooves in the design and foresee it being tricky to clean if anything happens to spill on it or dirt gets in the grooves (and with young boys, it's only a matter of time). Overall, a nice sensory necklace option, but not perfect.

Most of the sensory chewers are either gender neutral or feminine in design. It is nice to have some that are masculine in design for those chewers that prefer that style. Also who can resist shark teeth or spiders?

We got this as a transitional item to move away from our toddler’s daytime pacifier use at home! We like have different options to offer, it makes it more fun! These seem very durable and the breakable necklace is great!

These are nice and thick but not too hard. Will last and help a child if they need to chew or bite down on something without much damage to the piece and not to the teeth. Helps distract kids when they really need it most. Helping cope with overwhelming sensory problems is what a child needs and this helps. Neat designs and colors and kids can always keep it with them being able to wear it like a necklace.

Either shape is probably useful for fidgeting, although personally I think the triangle shape may be preferred for fidgeting. The spider necklace has several rows of raised bumps. Silicone is easy to clean and these seem very sturdy that they should hold up quite well, of course that does depend on how aggressive of a chewer you have. These are great choice for the variety of individuals and a spectrum of special needs who can benefit from them.

This is a nice pack of shark tooth/spider chew necklaces. Each comes with a quick release clasp (as long as your kiddo doesn't chew on that too). My son is a very heavy chewer and can get through one of these in a few days. Make sure to especially check the shark teeth, as the corners are the "weak" point that is able to chip off first, so look for any breaks before giving them back to your kids so they don't choke on any pieces that might come off.

I like the durability. I like the size(s). There are 3 knockoff, SP-man Necklaces that many people like .. I personally don't care for them though . For the Durability of the Necklaces, I would say it is a nice set and would be a nice set for Yourself or for the kids.
