I bought this product because I was searching for a petroleum free alternative to Vaseline or Aquaphor. I don’t like the idea of putting 100% white petroleum on my skin, so I looked around and found this Burt’s bees baby ointment. I use it on my face, arms, and legs because I get dry skin from Accutane. I put on a layer of moisturizer, and then a layer of this Burt’s bees ointment on top of it to lock in the moisture. I only use it at night before going to bed. It is thick and leaves your skin looking shiny/greasy, but works well to moisturize my skin. The shininess/greasiness usually fades by the time I wake up in the morning. It has a baby product smell, kind of like baby powder. It works well for getting rashes and dry skin patches to go away when used just once or twice. I got the three pack, I’ve only used one bottle so far. It lasts a long time because a little goes a long way. I will be buying this product again after I run out.

I’ve been using this diaper cream for years and it’s tried and true. The ingredients are clean, the product is effective, and the small tube lasts for quite some time due to its industrial consistency (she thick). One of my favorite daily uses is a light layer of this cream on the bottom after bath and before bed; it creates a protective barrier to keep baby comfortable throughout the night. A little goes a long way!

This is the only one I know of that actually gets rid of the diaper rash within days and creates a barrier to prevent the next diaper load so I’d definitely recommend it. My baby girl has sensitive skin and it does not break her out

We love this products! We are on our 3rd kid using cloth diapers and this product is perfect for that. It is nice and creamy and thick and it keeps those little bums protected. It also helps heal rashes, if they ever occur, quickly. It has a pleasant smell as well. Sometimes it has crystalized but when we use that it doesn't seem to change the effect and it doesn't seem to bother the kids. We have been using this for over 5 years and plan to use it if we have another child. 💯 Recommended!

I had a CO2 Laser treatment, the 3 ointments Dr gave me to try caused my face to be extremely red, had burning & puffiness... commonality of all 3 ointments was the petrolatum ingredient. Finally after 3 weeks post Laser treatment found Burt Bees healing ointment ! It is wonderful adds moisture back to my skin without any inflammation !

Used this to try and clear up some drool rash on my newborns face. Didnt really work better than aquaphor and just gets everywhere. Not bad though. Smells good and is very spreadable at room temperature, just dont like using it for the face.
- ecseteacher2024-06-01Use it in place of Vaseline
This is great for dry skin, diaper rash, chapped skin…any time you’d use Vaseline. This product feels and smells nicer than typical ointment and the travel bottles mean no sticking your hand in the jar.

This stuff is the truth. Randomly started getting dry skin bad and other lotions were not working. I started using this stuff and my dry skin was healed. Now I use on full body plus beard hair. Works great.

This works well and not only on babies. But, it has an odor I dislike.
- Lori2024-06-08Works great on dry skin
I use this on my arms which suffer from dry skin.
