My daughter wanted a small laundry basket so I ordered this and here are her comments: This little basket is probably intended for children, but I am using this myself and it’s a useful addition to my house. It has helped to keep my things tidy and organised. The basket is a decent size but is not really useful as a normal laundry hamper as it is open at the top and is smaller, rather than tall and narrow like laundry hampers usually are. However, I was still able to find use for it for other things and I like the safari animal print on the basket so definitely wanted to keep it and it adds a nice playful touch to my room. The rectangular shape means that I can store this neatly either in a shelf or wardrobe, and the handles make it easy to move around as needed. The quality of the basket is good – the fabric is sturdy and durable, even when filled with heavier items. The capacity of the basket is also pretty decent, I can fit a lot of stuff in it, meaning it is both stylish and practical and helps to keep items out of view and organised. Overall, I’m pleased with to have this basket and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cute and practical way to keep their space more organised.

When I clicked on this to order it was listed as a cylindrical laundry/toy hamper basket with drawstring top cover to close tightly over the contents. Its design is very much in line with my granddaughter’s bedroom theme. However I received this rectangular basket for storage? Yet when I click the order it still displays the laundry hamper? Nevertheless, putting aside my disappointment I will give my honest review on this product. Its fabric is of a washable material with a plastic feel coating. The brown handles are made of a leather like material. It folds down and the top edging is a rod covered over fully by the fabric. It is sturdy and rigid. It has many uses, for storage of toys, books etc. and I daresay a lot of a child’s toys can be stored tidily away as a good size. The fabric is strong to take a fair amount of weight and the handles seem sturdy enough to carry heavier contents. There is no lid or drawstring cloth cover on this version. Currently retailing at £15.75 for the laundry hamper version, I’m assuming this is of a similar price? Should this be the case, then it is quite expensive for just a light weight, printed and fabric storage basket?

Cute storage basket, ideal for children's bedrooms/playrooms etc, I love the animal design! The basket comes packaged flat, but all you need to do is open out the sides, no need to add poles or a base etc, it took me less than 10 seconds to do. The size of the basket is really good, I got this to store toys in, as our other one is overflowing! The inside of the basket has a shiny coating, which makes it easy to wipe/clean if needed. However, I did find the material in general a little thin, and the basket as a whole doesn't feel overly sturdy. I personally wouldn't want to put anything too heavy in it, like loads of books, as it feels like it could tear. Likewise, there are handles on the sides, but they're a little thin, and don't seem sewn on too well, so I wouldn't use them to carry the basket if it was too heavy. Overall though, I am happy with it. It suits my needs perfectly, and is now filled with teddies and little toys, and has helped make the room look tidier!

Lacks structure and sturdiness. Looks and feels cheap. Size is small and maybe okay to put some toys and bits in but overall its a cheap item that is cheaply made. Don't expect much from it.

When unpacked initially it is quite wrinkled but when opened out and filled the wrinkles do drop out. The jungle animals is an attractive design. It is made from polyester and is wipe clean. There are carry handles on the ends. This box is multi use, ideal for storing all sorts of things.

Lightweight rectangular storage box, which is easy to collapse down and store if not in use. But I think that also means that it isn't the most robust. Not sure it would withstand boisterous little ones regularly rummaging around in it, and I don't think it would be suitable for storing heavy items (heavy toys or big, heavy books, for instance) that you want to move around a lot. However, to store not-too-heavy toys, or laundry items etc, and to keep the box in the same place, it will be fine. And it looks really cute - a very sweet animal characters design. A cute way to keep a play room/bathroom tidy.

This looks like it was designed to be for clean storage of terry towelling nappies or other laundry and might work as one but will also work as a general play toy bag. It has a water-resistant finish to it and is of an appealing design if you like animals. It’s an ok size for putting boxed toys or jigsaw puzzles in.

This is a very cute storage basket, perfect for the nursery. It is a good size, waterproof and well made. Because the handles are fabric and stitched on and the bottom is not reinforced it probably wouldn't take too much weight, a few wooden toys made the bottom bow. However there are millions of other uses such as storing clothes, blankets or soft toys for which it is perfect.
