Do one paw at a time. Practice first so you know how your dog will respond to having her paws pushed down and held firmly in place. Press your pup’s paw onto a damp sponge and then press damp paw onto plain paper. The toe pads are easy, but be sure to press further back on her foot to print the big pad. My dog must’ve thought I was going to clip her nails and tried to pull her paws back. About 5 practices and we were ready. Came out great! Wonderful memorial.

Used this for my old man. I was able to use one pad for several tries on different sheets of paper since my brothers also wanted ink prints for tattoos. This card stock and frame came with the kit. It’s on the fridge now. I wrote his name on it too. Overall happy with the quality and appearance of my keep sake. I used the other frame to gift to my parents since he was our family dog.

Bought this for my cat. It took a little practice but once we got it down we got lots of nice prints. I was surprised at how many paw prints we got out of 1 ink pad. It was easy to use. I like that it's mess free and I didn't have to worry about getting ink on my cat.

It took a few tries to get a clean print - but my dogs were cooperative. Best tip: lift up the paw to printed, place paw on correct side of inking pad, once in place, lift the other paw not being printed off the ground - this causes your dog to shift weight and distribute it evenly across the pad, after 1-2 seconds, put the other paw back down, then lift the printed paw straight up and remove the print and ink pad (do this quickly so no other impression is made)

This worked great, keeping hands and foot clean. Easy to use.
- Christal2024-05-25This is not as easy to do as I thought
We wanted a paw print memory of our doggy that had to cross the rainbow bridge. Either I didn’t want to hurt her little paw and didn’t press hard enough or what but could never get a clear one. It does eliminate the mess so that is nice and they give you a couple of canvases to make mistakes on
- Olivia Romano2024-04-27Great! Good for 1-2 uses
Good product. I’ve tried two of these and this ink is better than the other one I tried. If you’re using it on small paws (like a cat’s), if you position them right, you can get about three uses out of one ink pad; however, if you are using it for large dogs, get two. Don’t try and get multiple prints in the same spot on the ink pad because the ink wears out in the spot you used it after one use.

I did as another reviewer had suggested and practiced by dampening the paw on a sponge and pressing down on paper before using the ink pad. I did the first one by placing ink pad on the floor and pressing down on his paw. My dog is a bit on the taller side so it was a little difficult. I tried the second one by placing the paper and ink pad on a footstool so that it was closer to his paw and it worked perfectly.
